Driver4VR Update 5.14.2.0 - JoyCon Gyro scale to support non-genuine models
In this release, I've added a Gyroscope Scale option for Joy-Cons. This allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the gyroscope, which can be particularly helpful if you're using non-genuine Joy-Cons that may have a different sensor calibration.
Driver4VR Update 5.14.1.0 - Wii Remote now works with Sensor Bar
Introducing support for Sensor Bar that works with Wii Remote when used as Virtual Tracker. Sensor Bar at the moment only provides drift correction. There is no positional tracking.
Driver4VR Update 5.14 - Wii Remote Update
Hello,
This update for the Wii Remote adds support for more recent models of Wii Remote (e.g., RVL-CNT-01-TR). Until now, such devices were not easy to detect by Driver4VR, but this should now work without any issues.
Let me know in case of problems :) Greg
Driver4VR Update 5.13.0.0 - PSMoveService to PSMoveServiceEx Update
Hello,
Since PSMoveService has not been updated for a while, Driver4VR has now been updated to use PSMoveServiceEx. This doesn't change much of the instructions; the main changes are related to the installation process. The UI is also very similar but has many great new features. PSMoveServiceEx is a great enhancement to PSMoveService, and I am thankful to the developer, Timocop, for that.
In this release: 1. Puppeteer walking animation improvement 2. Info about headset driver and tracking for PSVR(1) going out of support. 3. Info about a tip for the Joy-Con connection issue.
Driver4VR Update v5.12.4.1 - Rename DLC to Puppeteer and installation fix
In this release: 1. Rename DLC to Puppeteer 2. Fix the installation script not working in some cases.
Puppeteer is a new upgrade to full-body pose estimation! It lets you control your virtual character's full body moves using VR controllers, giving you more freedom to express yourself in the virtual world. Just move your hands with the controllers while holding the grip button, and your character follows suit, making your gaming experience more immersive and fun than ever before.
To enable/disable Puppeteer mode hold controllers above the head and hold grip for a while.
Now with Puppeteer mode when you hold grip, you start controlling your feet. That is all :) Check out the below video on how it works in action.
Driver4VR 5.12.2 Update - Kinetic adding jump and idle
In this release: 1. When you jump IRL this is also very nicely animated in Kinetic VR Trackers 2. There is also slight idle animation like breathing 3. Bug fix to remove unnecessary calibration option when Kinetic is selected.
Driver4VR Update 5.12.0 - Introducing Kinetic DLC - Emulated Full Body Tracking
Introducing the new Kinetic DLC: Simulate full-body movements using only your headset and hand controllers. This innovative update offers dynamic pose estimation for realistic avatar movements and enhanced virtual interactions, all while ensuring low CPU usage and eliminating the need for additional hardware.
