Driver4VR 5.9.0.0 - Body Tracking with Webcam in VRChat on standalone Quest

Hello!
In this release, Driver4VR introduces Full Body Tracking using OSC protocol for VRChat on standalone Meta Quest. PC is only required to process body tracking and it doesn't have to be gaming or VR-ready. Of course, you need a camera.

Full instructions in below video :)

Driver4VR Beta Update - Body Tracking in VRChat on standalone Quest (Beta 1)

Hello.
This is very first version of Body Tracking with Kinect for VRChat on standalone Oculus Quest 2. Currently it works only with Open Beta version that you can download from App Lab - https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/4821132827998004/ . There will be full tutorial video about that. I am providing instruction based on video script below.

You will need a PC but it doesn’t have to be VR Ready PC or even gaming PC.
Even a typical office laptop will do the job. Of course you need Kinect One or Kinect 360 and adapter that will connect your Kinect to the PC. For Kinect 360 you need USB 2.0 and for Kinect One you need USB 3.0. Also PC and Quest must be in same local network.
On your PC you need install Driver4VR from the Steam and Kinect Drivers. When you start Driver4VR you will see two options and you need to select one for OSC-VRChat Also when first starting Driver4VR it will attempt to register in SteamVR. This is only required for PC-VR setup and you can ignore this message.
Now check IP address on your Quest. Go to Quick Settings, WI Fi, Your network, Advanced and here it is.
Enter IP address in Driver4VR and press Start. Click “Show preview” and check if your pose is detected.
Currently there is no way to check in Driver4VR if there is connection to VRChat on your Quest. But that might change with further VRChat updates.
Switch back to your Quest and VRChat. In Settings, “Tracking and IK” section there are only few settings until we send tracking data.
Now open Quick Menu, Options, OSC and make sure it is set to Enabled.
To double check connection open OSC Debug. You should see that the data is coming from Kinect and Driver4VR to your Quest and VRChat.
Right now, the trackers should appear in VRChat. We should see also more settings in “Tracking and IK” section. Ensure that “Toggle FBT” is Enabled.
First change Skeleton scale in Driver4VR so the feet trackers are aligned with the floor when you are standing. Pay attention that you look forward. Not up or down but forward. You can double tap Quest
for pass through view. Or take it off for a while.
Now stay directly in front of the Kinect and spread your feet parallel to the device. Next look directly to Kinect, that is very important. And click Auto Center OSC Trackers. If your feet are reversed then press the Auto Center button again.
Final step is to calibrate Avatar. If avatar’s feet are above or below floor then adjust avatar’s height.
Finally just stay in T pose and press both triggers.
When starting next time around start Driver4VR and you should see trackers immediately in VRChat. Perform Auto Center OSC Trackers and Avatar T-pose calibration as usual.
That is all.
If you don’t see trackers, make sure that Quest IP address did not change. In most cases it should not. Check also if OSC is Enabled and data is coming in OSC Debug window.
Thanks 😊
