Core Hunt Contest


How would you like to get your hands on a USB Gunner Rig? What about a ROCCAT Kone EMP mouse, a ROCCAT Isku+ Force FX keyboard or a Dropzone T-shirt?
It’s a battle for cores, Commander, and you need to show us how many you can gather in 15 minutes!
At this point, you’re probably already wondering how to get your hands on these goodies. It’s easy! Here’s what you need to do:

  • Get in the game, play a competitive match against another Commander and fight to upload as many cores as you can.
  • Once you’re done, take a screenshot of the victory screen.
  • Send it to coreshunt@playdropzone.com before the 12th of March with the following information:
    • Title: Core Hunt
    • In-game nickname
    • Date of the match

The player with the highest score will win:
  • A Dropzone USB Gunner Rig
  • A Dropzone T-shirt
  • A ROCCAT Kone EMP Mouse

Second place will receive:
  • A Dropzone USB Gunner Rig
  • A Dropzone T-shirt
  • A ROCCAT Isku+ Force FX Keyboard

Third place will receive:
  • A Dropzone T-shirt
  • A Dropzone Poster
  • A ROCCAT Taito Control Mousepad


Note: In the event of a tie, we will pick a winner at random from all entrants with the same result.

Terms and Conditions


The following conditions govern the course of the Dropzone Core Hunt Contest (‘contest’) as organised by Gameforge 4D GmbH, Albert-Nestler-Straße 8, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany (‘Gameforge’).

1. Participation Period
The contest starts on 03/03/2017. The deadline for entries is 12/03/2017 (‘participation period’).

2. No Entry Fees
Participation in the contest is free and is not bound to the purchase of any goods or the subscription to a fee-based service.

3. Participants and Eligibility
(1) All users (‘user’) with an active, personal account (‘account’) for Dropzone are eligible to enter.
(2) Gameforge employees and employees of Gameforge-associated companies, members of the Dropzone Tech Team as well as their relatives are allowed to participate yet are excluded from receipt of any prizes.
(3) A ‘participant’ is every eligible user who makes a submission during the participation period according to no. 4 paragraph 2 of these conditions.


4. Submission
(1) The aim of the contest is to produce a screenshot in accordance with the conditions stated in the following paragraph.
(2) The screenshot must be taken at the end of a Dropzone match where the participant shows the result of it (victory screen). sent to coreshunt@playdropzone.com (‘submission’):
a) The submission must be sent by the person who wants to participate in the contest and not by a third party. It must be in .jpg, .png or .gif format with a maximum file size of five MB.
b) The submission must be free from the rights of third parties and must comply with current laws. The participant shall indemnify Gameforge against all third party claims in connection with the submission.

5. Winners and Prizes
(1) Gameforge will select the submissions from amongst all eligible submissions containing the highest amount of collected cores in a match by 13/03/2017. The ‘winner’ is the participant who sent the submissions and had the highest cores value collected in his match.
(2) Gameforge will announce the winners by 15/03/2017 stating their nicknames and prize via its own forums and on pages maintained by Gameforge on social networks (together the ‘Gameforge pages’) and will notify the winners vie e-mail requesting their addresses to send them the prizes (‘notification’).
(3) The winner in first place will each receive a Dropzone USB Gunner Rig, a Dropzone T-shirt and a Roccat Kone EMP.The winner in second place will a Dropzone USB Gunner Rig, a Dropzone t-shirt and a Roccat Isku + Force FX. The winner in third place will receive a Dropzone t-shirt, a Dropzone poster and a Roccat Taito Control.
(4) The prizes will be sent latest on 17/03/2017 via a service provider commissioned by Gameforge (‘service provider’) for which a valid address (‘address’) and a real name must be provided.
(5) Once the prizes have been handed over to the service provider, Gameforge considers the prizes as having been awarded.
(6) A cash disbursement and/or payment of the prize in goods, or the exchange and/or transfer of the prize to third parties is excluded in each case.

6. Rights of Use
(1) The participant grants Gameforge the free, non-exclusive right to use the submission at any time and in any place for the purpose of presenting the submission on the Gameforge pages ('use'). This includes the right to edit and copy the submission, as well as the right to make the submission publicly accessible and to grant the rights of use to third parties as far as is necessary.
(2) The participant agrees that the nickname provided in the submission is sufficient for denoting authorship within the scope of use.

7. Declaration of Consent
In the event of a win, the participant consents to receive a notification and permits Gameforge to pass on their address to the service provider for the purpose of sending the star prize.

8. Data Privacy
(1) Gameforge will collect, use and process the personal data of the participants solely for the purposes detailed in these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with data protection regulations.
(2) Further information regarding Gameforge’s handling of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer
(1) Gameforge, its bodies, employees, and subcontractors are liable exclusively for wilful intent and gross negligence, regardless of legal basis, and in cases of ordinary negligence, only for the violation of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damages, as far as not precluded by other compulsory statutory provisions.
(2) These limitations do not apply for the loss of life, personal injury or damage to health.

10. Other
(1) In sending a submission the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms & Conditions also apply (together the ‘rules‘). Should a participant infringe upon the rules during the contest, their eligibility may be revoked.
(2) Gameforge reserves the right to end the contest at any time, if for technical or legal reasons its proper execution cannot be guaranteed.
(3) In the event that any individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions become ineffective, the remaining provisions shall remain effective and binding. Statutory rules shall take the place of the ineffective provision.
