Drug Dealer Simulator PS5 will launch with improvements
[p]Hey everyone!
The 20th June release of Drug Dealer Simulator will come with a day one update that will bring the improvements below. These will be added to the Xbox version with a later update, most likely in a couple of weeks.
- Autosave upon entering and exiting hideouts, with a 5-minut cooldown; - "Drug Sense" under D-pad left, which highlights nearby interactive objects; - Editorial and proofreading changes in English and Polish texts; - Improved UI layout readibility; - Tab switching on the phone will utilize L1 and R2 buttons; - Taking or cancelling incoming calls will also utilize L1 and R2; - New "Story So Far" option in the main menu to better explain the game's setting and story; - Fixed issues related to improper functioning of certain UI elements; - Reducing the darkness during night; - Fixed issues with certain buttons not being clickable or accessible in the UI; - Accepting sales and purchasing items can be done by holding the triangle button.
Additionally, the PS5 version will launch with certain improvements without requiring the day one update, which will also come to the Xbox version at a later date:
- Changes in controls layout for easier backpack ejecting, hiding the phone, or opening the map; - Possibility to interact with an NPC while holding the phone. By performing such an action, the character will automatically hide the phone; - When the player jumps over the fence while holding the phone after performing this action, the character will pull out the phone again, as well as light the flashlight if it was on; - Various UI improvements for better usability and aesthetic; - Improved informing about certain action so the player avoids unwanted consequences; - Saving the game will be possible after the first conversation on the phone with Eddie.
Cheers! [/p]
Controller support will be added in a future update
[p]Hi all, just a quick note to confirm what we just confirmed internally.
Staying dedicated to supporting DDS1, we will make sure that controller support is implemented also in the original PC version of the game.
There are two major updates for DDS2 before us, and this DDS1 update will be handled after they are published.

The controller support will most likely look the same as it does on consoles. As you may know, DDS1 is already available on Xbox Series and Xbox One, and on 20th June it’ll land on PlayStation 5.
Stay tuned!

Regarding Schedule I: No Lawsuit
Dear Gamers,
We’d like to address your Schedule I / Drug Dealer Simulator publication and share some facts regarding the situation.
1. There is no lawsuit. 2. It is not our intention to prevent TVGS from selling or developing their game. 3. There is an investigation into the nature of similarities between the games since a preliminary legal analysis indicated there might have been an infringement. 4. The analysis and investigation were necessary in the light of repeating opinions that the games are very similar. By not investigating it, Movie Games, being a publicly traded company, could face severe consequences for negligence. 5. The above was communicated only via ESPI, a stock market communication system, where we are obligated to publish such information for full transparency. Not publishing it would also be a case of negligence. From there it was picked up by the media and, in some cases, wrongly reported as a lawsuit. 6. The above is handled only by Movie Games, the publisher, not Byterunners, the developer of Drug Dealer Simulator. The developer is not involved in it whatsoever.
There is no ill will towards TVGS. We even mailed them best wishes shortly before the release, when the game was already huge, but before the investigation was deemed necessary. However, we are obligated to perform this investigation, act accordingly to the scope of the infringement if it is confirmed, and inform the public about it via ESPI.
Best wishes, Movie Games
