Have you noticed that this year, the DDS universe will be 5 YEARS OLD? That’s right, the O.G. DDS came out on 4/16/2020. (4 days later and it would’ve been just p.e.r.f.e.c.t.)
Anyway, the 5th B-day calls for a CELEBRATION! And how better to celebrate than with dope new stuff happening in and around our games for the entire year?

EDIT: It's the update for DDS2
The team at Byterunners is hard at work developing a new update. We’ve already teased some things to come, so here’s an update on how your game will be improved with the upcoming changes and additions:
Lab technicians’ new functionalities
lab technicians will have their own crafting recipes, allowing drug production without products: you just have to provide them with cash so that they can buy the necessary ingredients themselves
the player will have to obtain those recipes through money investments
those recipes will require the player to have predefined sets of equipment in their hideout
Automation
lab technicians will allow the player to repeat crafts until they have the necessary ingredients in the hideouts
they will also be able to mass-produce mixes that the player designed
We call this new update the “Production Enhancement and Narcotics Industrialization System" extension. If only there was a way to shorten it… But would we really want to?

Pedro Pascal’s Javier Peña confirmed + environment reveal
Hello there, Dealers!
More and more is happening in the world of DDS x Narcos, and the True Games Syndicate team wants to share some of it with you today as part of DDS Madness 3.0!
First of all, it's confirmed: DDS x Narcos will feature Javier Peña, a character portrayed by Pedro Pascal. Cheers to that!
And secondly, a peek into the game’s world. DDS x Narcos will take you to the Ghetto in its less crime-ridden days, so you’ll be able to revisit the locations from DDS1 and see them in a different light. We don’t want to spoil too much… But then, we want to show a bit of the town from before the criminal revolution.
Oh, and did we mention that DDS1 is coming to Xbox consoles? If you’re a console player and want to enter the world of dealing on a big TV, you can follow the game here.
DDS Madness 3.0 has started! Updates are here, news to come
Nobody expects a surprise game update!
And yet, it’s here, along with DDS Madness 3.0. It’s the 3rd edition of our event where we bring both updates and news for the DDS community.
If you’re reading this, you’re here for DDS1, so let’s start with the update. The game took care of the issue that arose with the latest Visual Update. Read patch notes here.
Moreover, DDS2 has just received a new update, introducing fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Check out the full patch notes in the dedicated post, and get ready for more.
In the upcoming days we’ll have news about various games in the DDS franchise, so don’t forget to follow our Discord and the DDS Series franchise page on Steam.
Last but not least, both titles will be on sale, starting today, and if you’re a console player - DDS1 on Xbox is confirmed! Say whaaat? That’s right, see more here, and add the game to your wishlist.
We hope that the improvements already in place and those yet to come elevate your DDS experience at least by 420%.
We had some reports by you that after the latest visual update, there was a problem with collisions on some of the bushes. We took care of that, so enjoy your bushwhacking.
Patch notes:
Fixed an issue where dark bushes unintentionally had collision enabled after the visual update.
P.S. You may notice that despite the limited amount of changes, the update seems sizeable. It's due to the way the tech we used to create the game handles data.
