11th of May 'Trail-Patch' Notes

We’ve just uploaded a new Trail update. Check the trail trailer from Youtube

New features:


  • Fists have cool customizable trails
  • Steamworks integration: Can join games through the Steam overlay
  • Global matchmaking

Tweaks:


  • Online play should be more reliable
  • Splash screen loading time dramatically reduced
  • Additional enviro-particles
  • Dedicated Diner-musicplaylist

Known issues:


  • Whole of UI cannot be navigated with just the gamepad
  • Splash screen stays unresponsive for a while after start - just be patient
  • AI cannot handle stairs just yet
  • When players leave online games end condition is not checked
  • Levels, visuals & sounds are a work in progress and some rough edges are to be expected
  • No indicator trails for legs as they were a bit overkill

27th of April 'Diner-Patch' Notes

There’s a new ‘Diner-patch’ out now for you all to enjoy. Main points of the patch are greatly improved controls & a new level. Download the patch now & tell us your thoughts!

New features:


  • Test level: Diner
  • Alien clothing
  • Bots were given names
  • Any-option in matchmaker

Tweaks:


  • Made the characters react less to air friction, thus making aerial combat easier
  • Connection to matchmaker should not drop so often
  • If starting a game alone locally, bots will be added to the game
  • Automatic crash reports to developers
  • Kills & deaths should be assigned correct players now
  • Limb specific cooldowns to make button smashing less appealing (indicators in the next patch!)

Known issues:


  • Matchmaking is region locked
  • Splash / loading screen becomes occasionally unresponsive & Windows gives the complaint about it. Waiting resolves the problem.
  • AI cannot handle stairs just yet
  • Fist trails / indicators for cooldowns are ...lacking
  • Levels are a work in progress and some rough edges are to be expected

Hotfix 21st of April 2017

We've just released a hotfix for an issue with multiplayer & matchmaking.

Cross-continental multiplayer is currently only available through the Direct connection with an IP, but we are looking into fixing this for the next update.

There's still some issues with NAT punch-through, please bear with us!

  • Made the characters easier to control
  • 8 game pads are now really supported instead of just 7

  • Persistent player outfits
  • Steam name used during gameplay
  • Online games will be populated with bots until real human players arrive

We’ve just made the full online version available for sale on Steam’s Early Access

The offline version is still downloadable for free in Gamejolt / itch.io

New in this version:
New weapons
Stability fixes to online gameplay
Music tracks
Adjusted stamina. Less flailing around, more timing
Tons of minor bugs have been doused in liquor & set ablaze
