Hi, pilots, We're back to update again. Thanks for your patient to waiting for DUAL GEAR!
Before the next detail of Closed Beta, we will deploy the new things little by little. Today we have some little progress about the next boss unit. Let's check it out!
The Big Quad legs mech with the secret code name. If you got a Closes-Beta build, that means you met the first Aircraft boss and saw that how it(AI) working. However, it's just a test mission for our Alpha Tester. All boss will come again in the story mode of next Closed Beta! Now let's check more screenshots!

This mech boss is about the close combat battle. Single and multiple target melee attack is the point! The shock wave can be taking the damage on your units if they're in the range, pls be careful!
We're preparing the module of story mode call, Bridge Menu. Seem like FM series you can meet any characters by the 2d screen and find more things and the secrets we placed into the game. We will tell you about that details on next update!

Hi pilots,
The last update for the Alpha version has been launch! Yes, it means BETA development has begun but... right now, Let check out what we improve on to the current version.
This current build has improved some gameplay with the keyword "Faster" The new features " Wheel Boost" is an important key. We put it to the combat gameplay and also AI behavior. Now a player can press a button x, to move faster with wheel boost. That's the better way if the player wants a fast gameplay.
We recommend a try it until you are the expert in the boost control. You can be like the ACE pilot! Try it to get your position, dodge the enemies attack, and evade the massive missile!
Also, enemies AI is open to use a wheel boost. During the enemy phase, this feature is the key to making all actions to be faster. They can make decisions to use a Wheel Boost. If using a scene speed button(A), all action and cutscenes during the turn will be extra fast and quickly to go for the next phase. Wheel boost and scene speed will help all player so much to make more compact combat and decrease a time during the turns in gameplay.
About the major issues from the later versions. We fixed a lot of freezing bugs appear from any overlaps stage. Becuase DUAL GAER is a base event control blending with the real-time actions. The timing of each event stage may conflict during the real-time are progressing. That is the priority problem we want to focus and fix them. Hope we did it about the 90% right now.
One more thing, we added a new aircraft mech enemy for testing play in the Bitsummit Mission #1, #2. This mech is showing the combination mech in the combat gameplay and also, how the player takes a fight with giant aircraft enemy. If you have an alpha build, don't forget to try those missions and take down that guy!
We plan for this patch will get more missions, parts, and weapons but we're sorry we can't provide them for now. However, we will put it's all into the next beta phase. One reason because the new item management modules are going for the big upgrade. Example; Shop, Weapon development, and the weapons obtained from an enemy. We think it's better if all of them should be ready with the full progress of all items module and the reason, for the awesome BETA! Yes, a lot of new progress is coming in the next update! Stay tuned pilots!
-Wheel Boost input added( let's remind to Roller Dash from FMO.) All player can try to use it by X(Shift) button when the unit is completely stationary.
-Integrated a wheel boost to AIs behavior. The timing of enemy phase will shorter with faster movement on each enemy.
-Chain Attack enabled for all current weapon skills.
-Run animation will changes when the unit was high weight setting.
-2 Exclusive Missions from Bitsummit 2017. We put a newly aircraft mech to be a boss for those two missions.
-Resolved the freezing bugs happens from the overlaps event stage Active counter stage and player combat view
-Plasma rifle DG in MESSA mission and his team can move when the first player unit get to the contact area.
-Endless shots bug of tank enemy fixed.
-Controller and Mouse/Keyboard guides added to hangar screen.
-Active-Counter system enables for all movement stage. (Cast the attack during the target moving.)
-Speed up the scene in enemy phase is applied. Hold A button(Enter) during the enemy turn.
-Improves some skill cutscene camera, animation seamless, and some interactive on HUD and UI when the unit is getting the damage.
On the current build, we know some issues and bugs are not 100% completely resolved. We promised on the next BETA version will be better and coming with the big update!

Hi, pilots! We passed the very great week from Kyoto. So much fun after we met a lot of people come to play the DUAL GEAR. We have no time to go out and only focus for everyone came here. Yes, we so much tried but we have a lot of fun every day at Bitsummit! We sure to join again on next year!
From the event, we put the latest version of Closed Alpha on the show. A new feature, Wheel Boost (Our Japanese friends call "Sketch Boost") and new Boss able to play. We were so happy for the enjoying of all people when they finished a boss and used the new boost feature to made the fantastic movement on the gameplay. Yes, we are almost to update this new version soon, and that will be the last version for Closed Alpha. Next, we will focus on the Beta version. A lot of changed and new are coming!

The event is taking place at Miyako Messe venue nearly Sanjo Bridge and Gion, and there is an important district for tourist with the great environment of beautiful mountain and river almost the venue.
We have an exclusive art badges and the postcards for everyone who come to play. So much people love the SRW style artwork on the stuff we prepared, very impressive!

Hi pilots, Friday update with the close-up caption on SD Dual Gear artwork! That is the first look of DG with Super Robot Wars style. We're preparing some special gift about the artwork for everyone who comes to play a DUAL GEAR at Bitsummit, Kyoto on 20-21 this May. We also, preparing the new version of build able to play at Kyoto!
Hi, All pilot this is official announcement, we must delay for 2018.
Firstly, we must thanks before, for everyone who comes to support us and bring the DUAL GEAR to the latest version on Closed-Alpha 0.90.4.
After we had launched the Pre-Alpha version on 2016, we received a lot of feedback and critics that make us know about the game should be and need to improve more. A lot of things in the game have changed with your opinion and made the game better. Thank you all for helping DUAL GEAR. With so many factors we need more times in the development and change a time of release to 2018.
However, we still decided the right date and the quarters to release, but in 2018 we will make this year to be the year for us. During the time before release, we have a plan to show up the game on any events in the world. We will go out to meet you all too. And also, a lot of new features, mech, and something secret are prepared to show up to you all soon.
This announcement will be made you have a bad feeling and so much late to tell you all but will prepare something good for the next update. One more build left before the start of Beta. Please stay tuned!

Hi all pilots,
We really excited to talk about the good news for everyone who want to meet with us! DUAL GEAR was accepted to show off the game at Kyoto Indie Festival event or Bitsummit 2017! This is the one of largest event for Indie devs in Japan!
Not only about DUAL GEAR and other Japanese devs on Bitsummit! The Japanese veteran developers Koji Igarashi (of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and now Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night fame), Masaya Matsuura (PaRappa the Rapper), and Suda 51 (No More Heroes) will all be at the event and are said to have "exciting news about their upcoming projects" to share. Don't miss this event if you have a trip to go to Kyoto on this May 20-21! The event are located at the Miyako Messe in Kyoto, Japan. Hope to see you all in our booth. We have some exclusive items for you all and also, the new version of DUAL GEAR able to play on this event!

Closed Alpha Patch 0.90(.3) Updated and All about details
Hi, pilot. From the last past week, we have been uploaded a 0.90 patch but not release any announcement for you all. So today we are ready to tell you about the patch. Let get into the detail!
Features Added.
-Mouse Support added. For the PC version player request. We added a Mouse cursor to Hangar Screen and Customization Mode. You can choose any buttons by mouse clicking. So some part we added still need more polish. We will keep the improvement and update it soon.
-Game Option added to Hangar Screen. The player can adjust the setting in Hangar Start Screen for now.
-Combat View HUD improved. Position changed for some part. Also, we added a performance of weapon skill under the weapon image blanket. Player also checking a GP consumption on that performance bar.
-Tactical View added. The tactical view is a feature on missions gameplay. The game will let the player go to the Tactical View before getting into the Combat Gameplay. The Tactical View is an observation view like a Turn Based Grid camera angle( Someone call Top Down Isometric View). This feature will allow the player to see all unit in the mission and able to check a performance of any units, ex. Status, Skill, and Chain Attack Rate. So still not a perfect version on this build. Some menu still a future adding.
-Chain Attack added.Still early about this early. Only 2 weapons allow making a chain attack, SMG, and Shotgun. So we call a chain attack is " DDE Link" DDE means Dual Drive Engaged. A chance of chain attack depend on pilot stat "Dual Drive Sync" on each unit near the primary unit player using.
-Head Part Destroy System has been added. when any unit lost a head part, that unit will lose an accuracy for any attack. Also, you can see the different inner part from any units.
-Weapon, Part, and Unit Info have been added. The player can choose this tab to open an Info page. There will show all detail and 3d model of the units, weapons, and parts
Issues
- Fixed VR launching and make the game gonna black screen. This is only for Closed Alpha build.
- Remove all UI assets from Coherent UI and renew with UMG(UE4 UI maker) and HTML method.
All new features we added still early. Maybe working not good and get the stuck with some method. We will update and improve them soon before the last Closed Alpha patch. So we open to receiving your opinion all times. Feel free to give your feedback in our communities. Let's rock n roll pilots!
New patch delayed to the middle of 2nd week of March.
Hi, pilots! From the earlier news, we told everyone about the coming of new patch for the last February ago. We need a little bit of time for improving the game for all player especially the mouse support feature that make us to changed a lot of UI system. We hope we can update the new patch with in this Wednesday (8/03/2017).
This patch is about the improvement of new UI, Mouse Supported and Chain Attack. So any features we said still need an improvement but we will deploy one more patch for Closed Alpha with in the end of March. That will be the solid version for new features we adding and also, new level, part, and new weapons. We hope we will provide to you all in time. and start the Beta in this April!
We deployed some screenshot on Start Screen. A little change about units showing in the hangar. Keep waiting for the new patch and new details. Thanks for your patience, pilots!
New year 2017 update! Preview of mouse support& tactical view! Let's check it out!

Sorry for a long time no update after the great new year has begun. We still working about the new features, mechs, new missions, and also a better things for
PC player. For now, we have a little progression showing to you all about "mouse support" and "tactical view" the feature allow player swith and ordering the units. Let see a WIP videos. We are showing Mouse system working on Hangar mode and short clip about tactical view. Let's check it out!
We adding a mouse system to make a comfortable more for STEAM version.The rollover effect are able to use when the player move a cursor to any buttons.
It's showing the overlay UI box on any clicking locations. Also, player can use a drag and slide on color adjustment mode. So don't worry about the controller support, it's also working with the same pattern.
Tactical View on Animation and how it's working.
When you going on the mission, the game will switch your screen to the top-down Isometric view. We call this stage with " Tactical View". You can check all about the detail from any unit and able to switch for next or previous units you want to play. So Did you see a DDE link? This feature are about chain combination attack. You will see a Yellow Link Line and Link Rate bar above your team units. You can use a special ability of each skills to make a chance for create more damage from chain attack. We will integrate to the game soon(not for next version)
We adding "End Action Order" when player stop the unit and need to switch or end the turn. Not only about switch or end your turn, player are able to choose a defend or cover. There are a ways to make a different action and when the enemy turn start.
Head part is destructible.
From the lastest earlier builds. All head part can not destroy but the player can see only AP and CP decrease to zero. That's mean the unit has been lost a head part but the head model still appear on the unit. So the next build if you lost any head part, the unit will lost accuracy and evasion abilities. Pls be careful
The Date for a next patch! The next patch will coming with a little features integrated, Tactical view and some part for mouse support. There are a semi update before last patch for closed-alpha and we will patch up to the STEAM on a first of February!
