Update 1.6.3 - Part 3 Final Modifiers and VFX Overhaul
[p][/p][p]Hello again! This update finalises the changes to modifiers and introduces a new visual effect for all dropped items. [/p][p][/p][p]The final two modifiers allow enemies to rearm traps and summon walls to block your path. Some enemies will now fire a projectile at a spent trap to rearm it. This means that areas where you previously avoided traps are no longer safe. [/p][p][/p][p]Conversely, we have introduced enemies that can spawn walls in your path, forcing you to take a different route through the dungeons.[/p][p][/p][p]Several fixes have also been made to the logic to ensure the game runs smoothly. [/p][p][/p][p]VFX Overhaul is now finished: every modifier now has a unique updated VFX to make them stand out. Hello again,
This update brings the new Vampire and Static Shock Modifiers into the game.
These have been a bunch of fun developing and we hope you have just as much fun encountering them

Fixed an issue where the damage zones for the first bossfight would not despawn, leading to performance issues

With the next update the Effects for all modifiers will recieve an overhaul so stay tuned for that.

Update Showcase: Modifiers Part 2
Hello again, the next update is just around the corner, so we wanted to give you an idea of what to expect.
We have added 2 new modifiers and associated abilities, these are the Vampire and Static Shock modifiers.
The Static Shock modifier is designed to spice up the play style of the game, when an enemy with it takes ranged damage they will fire 2 projectiles that will bounce off nearby walls and floors (take a shield), when they take melee damage they will damage the player for 1 damage, after taking damage they will go on a cooldown. Enemies with the Vampire modifier will periodically fire a projectile that will restore some of their health, so keep your distance. After the projectile is fired, the ability will cooldown.

Update 1.6.3 Part 1
This Update is part 1 of 3 and brings the first 3 new enemy modifiers into the game!
The new modifiers are:
Misty Step
Mirage
Hoarder
Misty step
As we've mentioned in the past, this modifier will allow enemies to teleport behind you, so stay aware of your surroundings
Mirage
These enemies will spawn replicas of themselves, the replicas are easily killed, but can pose a significant threat in later stages
Hoarder This modifier makes enemies drop some extra loot when killed
Once all 3 parts of this update have released, the accompanied effects for every modifier will recieve a massive overhaul.
Alongside these additions weve made the following changes:
fixed an issue with the bossfights where the spawned enemies would not damage the boss if hit
moved all spawned objects (enemies, items, weapons, loot) over to a new system, allowing for better sync in multiplayer games
several smaller fixes

Modifier System
The Modifier System The currently planned modifiers include things like:
Trap re-arming
Static Shock
Wall Summons
Vampiric lifesteal
Traps are currently a one-off danger, Enemies with this modifier will be capable of re-arming them. This will make the environment more dangerous if you're not careful.
Some enemies will fire projectiles at the player if they're hit, this is intended to reduce double-weapon use of ranged weapons.
There will also be enemies capable of spawning walls around the player, cutting off possible escape routes.
Finally, some enemies will heal after dealing damage to the player.
We will be going into more detail on each of these as development continues.

This Update will be split into several smaller updates, but all parts serve as a big content update to the game, starting with 2 of 6 upcoming new enemy modifiers, each modifier giving enemies a unique ability
Assasin Modifier and MistyStep ability
This ability lets enemies teleport behind players to catch them off guard so, watch your back!
Mirage Modifier and Ability
Enemies with this ability will periodically spawn weak copies of itself, each copy will be able to have individual modifiers, but they will only take a single hit to kill.

Alongside the Enemy Modifiers, we've added a new passive to all shields, to make them more of a viable pick over the current range "meta".
In Addition we made several improvements to enemy Spawn timings and stability
Removed an error when collecting items
Fixed remaining Materials that were not compatible with the new Rendering

Update 1.6.2 - Multiplayer fixes
This update is all about making the game better for multiplayer and networking.
Changes:
The debuff system is now in sync with the server.
We've tweaked enemy spawn times and removed invisible enemies.
We've updated Unity to 2022.3.44f1.
Additions
We've added multiple SaveSlots to single-player mode, so you can just select the slot you want at the portal
Update 1.6.1- Quality of Life Update
This update made some QoL changes to the game :
Changes:
Improved Performance by switching to Singlepass Rendering
Added back the Greyscale effect when you're dead
Removed Bloom from the camera
Improved Performance of Minimap
Changed Teleporter to next level into new portal object

Additions:
Save & Quit feature (Currently Singleplayer only): After a boss is killed, the green level-change portal and the blue Save & Quit portal will activate. Entering it will save and quit the game back to the Lobby if you want to continue at a later point. Loading the game will load the next level in the loop.
