1.7.6 Update & Introducing our new project

We've fixed some bugs with this minor patch.



Changes




  • Item Naitel Hovering Shield: Fixed a bug with the skill.
  • Item Thunderbird's Eye: Fixed an issue with "Exploding Bullets" stat not working correctly.
  • Boss Tunak: Fixed an issue where monsters sometimes remained after the battle ended.
  • Boss Roellynn: Fixed a bug where some objects remained on the screen after being defeated.
  • The fairy that shows you the way to the restaurant is no longer obscured by tiles.
  • Chinese, Japanese: Fixed a broken Steam workshop text label on the title screen.

We released Dungreed in February 2018 and have been updating it continuously for about 5.5 years.

Bug fixes




  • Fixed an issue where the "friend" tag condition was not outputting correctly in the custom costume options.
  • Fixed an issue that caused combat to be skipped when fighting Roellynn while using the Nitro Gauntlets.
  • Fixed an issue where the image would not return to the original when using the Cosmic Power skill while using the "Rage" effect on the "Ikina Bear" costume.
  • Hecate: Fixed an issue where the laser sight would move away from the aiming direction when switching weapons after firing.
  • Laplacian: Fixed an issue where the item "Glass Shield" would not apply its effect.
  • Fixed an issue with the reroll feature in the shop.
  • Fixed an issue where dash damage was reduced while using the Level 10 perk 'Turbulence' from the ability 'Comet'.
  • Fixed an issue where the God of Thunder set effect would not trigger in some cases while using the Reverse Handshake skill.

Starting Item



  • You can include items implemented in Dungreed in your costume such as the Devil Swordsman and King of Pickaxes costumes.
  • When changing to a different costume, the starting item is lost.
  • Starting items cannot be sold in the store or offered on altars.

  • Prince's Dignity set effect: Fixed missing skill name and description.

  • Human Lasley Costume: Alternative appearance has been added (unlocked after defeating the final boss in hard mode level 8)
  • Leigong Drum: The grade has been changed (Rare -> Advanced)
  • Chainsaw: Attack speed is slightly lowered, but an additional 40% movement speed is granted during attack.
  • Adelaide: Shotgun bullets fire faster. (The default magazine capacity has also been adjusted accordingly)

About Steam Workshop



We are currently continuing to work on opening the Steam Workshop. It took some times because workshop-related features had to be implemented within the client, but we are working hard on it. Unless there are any major issues, the workshop will be opened next week. Thank you for your patience. :)

1.7.1 Updates

Custom Costumes



In 1.7.1. Patch, we mainly worked about custom costumes features.

Our goal with custom costumes was to provide an environment where you could easily create your own character, but we also recognized that simply providing stats would greatly limit your creativity. Accordingly, we developed the “conditional stats” function as an experimental feature.

Even though it has only been a short time since we released the patch, the enthusiastic feedback from many gamers has been an enjoyable experience for us. we also realize that your creativity is truly amazing! :D
Dungreed's code structure is very old and complex, so it is difficult to apply all the suggestions, but ideas that are easy to implement were reflected in this patch.


  • Added experimental feature “Conditional Stats” [see guide section 4]

    Currently, there is a rather simple condition: "When equipped with a katana, handgun, or spear tagged weapon." We plan to make more of this and that.


  • Added custom costumes debugging

    Now you can load custom costumes more easily in the game. Insert the file and press F5 in boutique UI. Custom costumes can be loaded instantly.




Steam Workshop



There was a suggestion on the Steam Workshop and we are currently looking into it. Activating Steam Workshop took a lot more work than we expected. It will likely take some time. Thank you for your patient.


Bug fix




  • Polsfuss custom "Purple Beauty": Fixed an issue where the poisoning effect was not applied.
    (Currently, there is a bug where the burn stats does not occur even if burn enhancement is performed on the item. This will be fixed in the future.)
  • Fixed a bug where the game freezes when starting the trials.

New Hard Mode




  • Changed the existing hard mode.
  • The new hard mode can be activated by interacting with Arsha's key box.
    (The existing hard mode toggle object have been removed.)
  • There are levels 1 to 10, and as the level increases, restrictions increase.
  • You can get various rewards for each clear, so be sure to challenge yourself.
  • For the existing Hard Mode Boss Rush, you can enter if you have at least one key after fulfilling the challenge conditions.

Dungeon



  • Added new rooms to some themes.

Episodes



  • Added episode "Twilight Mansion": a small episode with new characters.
    (Unlocked by clearing stage 1 of Hard Mode.)
  • The existing "Trials" content has been renamed to "Episode: Trials".
  • Progress in these two episodes can be tracked via the Quest HUD in the village.
  • Trials events will now also appear during Hard Mode.

  • Leveling up is now faster after an expedition ends.
  • Changed dash recovery progression to be more visual.
  • Improved the usability of the Ability UI.

    1. Clicking on an ability will automatically raise it to that level.
    2. wheel clicking the + button will now raise it 5 at a time.
    3. You can now see your current Ability while in a dungeon.

  • Tunak: Fixed some immobilization issues while using patterns.
  • Fixed an issue where the buff from Beer would not trigger after challenging 'Trial'.
  • Fixed some issues with players getting stuck on tiles during auto-save.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not build Yulford's Workshop if they ran away(not dead) from the first dungeon entry.
  • Cosmic Power skill will now unmorph if you die while using it.


Known Issues



  • If you are using the experimental feature "Autosave", your character may be stuck in a wall when you connect. This is due to a change in save locations, and if you find yourself stuck, we recommend returning to town and trying again.
  • This update is not available for MacOS x86, x86-64 due to compatibility issues.
