I am announcing patch release date for 0.2.0.4, Dec 14 @ 8PM ET. Please note that 0.2.0.3 is being deprecated and will not be released.
0.2.0.4 main features

Now, if you are interested in my excuse for this :D, keep reading:
0.2.0.3 will not be released, and will be skipped as the 0.2.0.4 version is already in testing phases. As you would know, 0.2.0.3 has been a real delay (sigh) ever since it entered the testing phase. All BS aside, I admit that it was because the project has been spread to far during this time. I've been working on three versions of the game (0.2.0.3, 0.2.0.4 and 0.2.1.0) and the 0.2.0.3 has been suffering from this workload.
If anyone is interested in why trashing 0.2.0.3 helps is that it reduces back porting work and basically simplifies the whole process :D
Nevertheless, I expect 0.2.1.0 to be released during the first half of January and 0.2.0.5 to be the last patch for the current patch cycle.
0.2.0.3 Patch Date
Hi, I am delaying patch release to Dec 6-8, and at this stage I would rather not set fixed dates. The reason being, along with the new AK platform, I've been working on a program that handles server management program for the backend. Whilst my projections for this program's completion was hopeful, it has failed to pass my final testing phase - hence the need to work on it a bit more :)
Believe me, I am eager to feature AK platform as soon as possible so stay on this one for me.

0.2.0.3 Patch Announcement
So, to recap what has been going on and what is going to happen:
The 0.2.0.2 patch was split into three parts (0.2.0.2, 0.2.0.3, 0.2.0.4) of which the 0.2.0.2 released today, and the 0.2.0.3 to be released on Thursday 26. I will be releasing frequent patches to give 0.2.0 cycle a push - and to 0.2.1 cycle.
Now, let's go back to the next upcoming patch: 0.2.0.3 will feature the AK (finally!!!!) and some polishing around rifle handling - we've been not working on guns for so long now!
and of course, bug hunting.
As for the bots, which seems like a feature that should stay with D.U.S.T., it has been developed to work as "practice bots" to play with and against. Given that, I've prioritized performance over everything which makes them seemingly stupid at times. I will be adding some "smart" features patch after patch to make the experience more enjoyable.
I am also considering bots vs players but that is still to be discussed and decided.
0.2.0.2 Patch Notes

0.2.0.2 Date Fixture!!!
Dear all supporters.
I am making this announcement for the ones waiting for the patch to be released. I am proud to say that I have a stable build worth releasing after the delay. (I've finished playing few rounds with bots from start to end just now). Unfortunately, the patch will only go live Nov 22 @ 5PM Eastern Time provided that I still need to finish up. I apologize for the second delay.
Before I go on, I would like to mention that the 0.2.0.2 patch, having three major new features added on, has not been tested thoroughly, given that they require to be battle tested. For these reasons, I am splitting the patch into three patches (0.2.0.2, 0.2.0.3, 0.2.0.4) to be released in three day intervals. With the three patches, I should be able to keep minimum down time and fix critical issues quickly instead of waiting for another few weeks.
0.2.0.2 patch - Nov 22
0.2.0.3 patch - Nov 26
0.2.0.4 patch - Nov 30
Please note that AK weapon platform will feature on the 0.2.0.3 patch and not the 0.2.0.2. All other features are to feature on 0.2.0.2
