In Creatures of Ava, players assume the role of Vic, a young nature explorer, on her expedition to planet Ava. The mission: save the planet's inhabitants from an infection called "the withering". Explore the distinct and colorful biospheres of Ava, tame wild creatures with the music of a special flute, meet the naam (Ava's inhabitants) and learn their unique customs, and help Vic solve the secrets of Ava and her own troubled past!

Effie v1.3 is out now!

In our efforts to keep creating the best possible version of Effie, today we bring you the update 1.3.
The main feature that comes live with this update is the integration of Steam Cloud Save. So now you can play with your computer, with the computer of your brother or even with your gradma's computer. If you use the same Steam account, you'll be able to continue your saved game!
This update also fixes some minor bugs reported by the community. If you find any in the future, remember that there's a thread in our forum to report them!
We've been working on a game update based mainly on your feedback and we've implemented some improvements on the player's control. We know this is important for you and that's why we've focused on it.
Patch notes: ─ Now PS4 controller is fully compatible. ─ Camera sensibility range has been adjusted for mouse control. ─ Automatic camera has been removed from the "Surf" mechanics if you play with mouse & keyboard.
We'll keep updating Effie, so if you find a bug or you want to give us some feedback, please let us know in the game discussions.

Here's yet another criminally underrated indie gem. Effie is an immersive and striking 3D platformer that has you beat on enemies and work through tricky scenarios with the help of some very cool abilities. I absolutely fell in love with its world via its delightful graphics and voice acting and I'm sure you will, too. It easily deserves to be 3D Platformer of the Year.
Effie is good 3D Platformer that left me with a big smile on face. The Red Plains are a beautiful location to explore, especially given that you have an awesome hoverboard to do it with. The combat does hold it back a bit but the overall package is one that fans of 3D Platformers should definitely experience.
Effie is a fun 3D puzzle-platformer which pays homage to the classics of yesteryear perfectly. The vivid and luminous contrast between the choices of colours the developers have opted to use, really makes the games visuals pop out of your screen as every single scene is like a child’s colouring book where they’ve gone crazy with the bright primary colours!
Platforms, adventure and a lot of feeling combined in a work that oozes talent and shows a promising studio. A must for lovers of classic adventures.
Effie is one of those games I just picked up and enjoyed playing from start to finish in one day. The developer has done extremely well to merge old-school 3D platforming with an open world design, some RPG-lite mechanics, ARPG-like combat and some great puzzles that never felt frustrating. Throw in a fantasy story that kept me wanting more as well as beautiful graphics and the ability to surf around on a shield, and you have a winner on your hands.
Effie excels when the player is tired of complex systems and strategies being shoved in their face. When you want to rediscover a youthful love for adventure and magic, Effie is the perfect game. It’s for these reasons that I’ve rated Effie: 8.5/10.
