Recently we have had new premieres, updates and announcements. To celebrate those events we have started the Publisher Sale that will be happening until 1st November 2021
Short Circuit. Demo Postponed. The Prologue is coming.
Dear Electricians,
We regret to inform you of our resignation from publishing the demo of our game during the current Steam Festival.
We were hoping to get the Demo on time, but we are not satisfied enough with the amount of content prepared for the Demo (it is working fine from a technical point of view). The publisher is supporting us with this decision.
Electrician Simulator will be released in a matter of one month as a free prologue version.
Prologue will have more content than the current demo. We will keep you updated in upcoming Devlogs.
Along with the Prologue, we will live stream the game and do a QA session, where you will be able to ask us anything about the game! You will meet developers and hear more about Electrician Simulator.
Apologies once more. This has been a very difficult decision for us, but we believe it was worth taking for sake of presenting You with a great and memorable game.

Today we want to show you a new game mechanic we have been working on. You have already seen some of our electrical objects, such as lamps, switches etc. But how do you connect them? They need some wires, don't they?
We implemented a new system of connecting those objects. Now, a lamp needs to be connected to the switch. And then, the switch needs to be connected to the fuse. Yes, our fusebox is working now!
And then there is a wire detector. Just click on the switch to check all of the wires connected to it. If they are green - there is electricity. If they are red - you need to check what is wrong.
Oh, and can you see that little image on the wire detector? We also try to show some connections directly into it. It will be more challenging but probably even more fun!
Of course, it is still a work in progress, so all of the visuals will improve. Moreover, we work on the system of laying new cables on your own! Maybe we will show them to you in our next Devlog? 🤔
And that's all this week! See you in the next Devlog! Or sooner on our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/s7WHtmkRQ9

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086990/Commander_85/ Note Commander '85 has a free prologue version here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1356460/Commander_85_Prologue/ One might be discouraged by Mostly Negative reviews of Commander '85. It's a very niche and complex game with, quite frankly, TERRIBLE introduction and tutorial that led to Negative reviews bombing after 30 min of gameplay (30 min doesn't even cover the prologue part of the game). We strongly suggest checking the prologue first if You like its gameplay. It's free, unique, complex and fun, but it's clunky to dive in.
Yesterday I got a garage from my dad! And his old yet still running car. I guess he knew that electricity is my passion, and I need someplace to practice and focus on my future customers. Now I can finally start my small company and help all of those people with their faulty electrical boxes, light switches etc. It can't be that hard, can it?
So, I brought my old laptop, created a business e-mail address, and now I have to wait for some new customers. I hope that the more simple jobs I do, the more reputation I will gain! I will use that old pickup to get to people's houses.
But what if they need me to do some more complicated tasks? For now, I can only fix the light switch, connect the wires to a power outlet and do some magic in a fuse box. I guess I will learn more stuff soon. And I don't have many tools. Hopefully, I will get some money for a few of my first tasks.
That was a fragment of our electrician's diary. As you can see, we are working on a story and a game loop. You can now go to missions and do some first fixes! We can't show you any missions' content yet, but we are looking forward to it!
Long time no see, but we were working hard on some new content. And while you didn't see any new devlog, you might notice our Steam page change. Also, if you are a member of our discord, you might find some additional sneak-peeks there! 👀
One working at night?
Well, we don't like working late. Whenever the sun sets, we know it is time to go home. But our electrician's life is not that easy. In our game, you might find some tasks to be done at night. Maybe it's because the house owner is never there during the day? Or maybe because the inhabitants are just a bunch of vampires? 🦇 Just kidding. Or are we?
As you can see, there is a unique mood in the night scenes. There is no sunlight, so lamps are the only light sources. But what happens when we turn them all off? Exactly - the house is completely dark.
The day is still there!
Enough of those horror-like environments! Of course, we still have many day scenes. Today we want to show you two new screenshots of our houses. Please keep in mind that those are made directly in-game. So that's how our game looks right now.
The first one is a little bit empty. Somebody just moved in. They will probably need a quick electrician check just to be sure everything is working good.
The second one is a bigger house. You can't see this in the picture, but there are two offices. So probably some couple working at home that needs some help with electric stuff.
And that's all this week! See you in the next Devlog! Or sooner on our Discord Server: https://discord.com/invite/GTyR9ZC

We have updated our Steam Page with new screenshots and description so it reflects the current state of the game better. Slowly we are working on the new trailer as well.
Currently, we are working on various game mechanics like finding and fixing cables inside the walls, quest receiving UI and backend, "profiles" of our electrician company etc etc. There is a lot of work to be done and we will share more news soon in Devlogs (we aim to publish it twice a month to keep You informed)
