Today, we want to show you how we handle some uniqueness in Electrician Simulator. In our game, you will get a lot of tasks from a lot of different customers. How to make their houses look different? How to make sure that players feel the customers' sense of style?
The same, but different?
Let's say people in Electrician Simulator's world buy very similar types of furniture. But it would be kind of boring if all of them look the same. That's why we create many materials variations. Now, every house and every piece of furniture can look unique, even if someone bought it in the same store.
Just look at the compilation below:
As you can see, not only we change furniture colours, but we also modify walls, floors and ceilings. Those changes make rooms even more unique. We can randomize every room appearance. That also means different window setups.
Can you spot all differences? ↓
Who would use such blue colours in their house?! Well, non of our business. We can use more discreet colours, and you will still see the difference. The thing is that even with the same furniture given room can be unusual. Of course, it doesn't mean we only use one set of furniture and appliances. But we want to make sure that you will not spot the same place twice.
Anything more?
Yes! We started implementing a new user interface, as you can see below. But wait, what's with all of those weird words?! That's Polish language, meaning we also started working on localizing the game! You will need to wait a little bit longer for all of the languages we support.
And that's all this week! We hope that you wait for Electrician Simulator as it encourages us to work faster and better! See you in the next Devlog! Or sooner on our Discord Server: https://discord.com/invite/GTyR9ZC
Days are passing by, and we are working on some new content. At the same time, we try to simplify existing game mechanics and tweak them to be fun.
So, what is our main focus right now?
Working on interactions
How to make a game immersive? Well, you have to make sure that many interactions are possible and that those interactions look real. It is not that easy to make an object interactable and to handle both gamepad and mouse/keyboard inputs. Now we are working on electrical sockets. We want to make them fun but also to make them look realistic.
It is not final, but we like how smooth working with this socket is. And we want to make it even better! Also, you can see that there are some wires under the socket. Well, we will tell you more about cables in the upcoming devlogs.
So, what else have we got for you?
We are also working on a LOT of 3D assets: sockets, switches, screwdrivers and many, many different tools, which we mainly create from scratch. We want those assets to be unique and very good in terms of quality.
And of course, you can interact with items and tools on levels. Our goal is to make many, many different things interactable.
Another thing we started to work on is the player's laptop. It is the most significant tool in your office. Here you can find all the jobs, look for new supplies in the online shop or even buy some damaged gear and repair it! For now, let's take a look at the computer itself. Later, we will show you how it works.
And that's all this week! We hope that you wait for Electrician Simulator as it encourages us to work faster and better! See you in the next Devlog! Or sooner on our Discord Server: https://discord.com/invite/GTyR9ZC
First, we would like to apologize for a long time you had to wait for any update regarding the Electrician Simulator. We know that these few-months break might make you think we abandoned the project.
Well, we did not!
The reason behind the hiatus - we were not satisfied with the overall game quality and development progress. For that reason Electrician Simulator has been taken over by Take IT Studio!.
Due to the great interest in the game, we wanted to improve the quality of the game and introduce many new solutions that were not possible before as well.
The game is going to receive regular updates about its progress from now every 2 weeks. We encourage You to become a part of development as we are always open to ideas and feedback.
Now we leave it to Take IT Studio! to share their vision of a game. Yours, Gaming Factory S.A. Team ---
Hi there!
We are Take IT Studio! and we are pleased to announce that we are new developers of Electrician Simulator! We liked the idea of the project, but we knew it could be developed better. And now we have a chance to prove it.
What is our idea for Electrician Simulator? Well, we want to make it fun, but not "stupid fun". We want every player to enjoy our game. It does not matter if you are a professional electrician or you know nothing about electricity.
We take care of how the game looks, so details and lightening are significant to us.
Imagine turning on and off nearly all the lights in the house and change the overall mood. Or going down to the black basement using only your flashlight to look for detailed electrician tools. How cool is that?
For now, we do not have much to share as the game is undergoing a big graphical overhaul, but we can share a few sneak peeks of the "brand new" Electrician Simulator!
Psst! You can see our first try to make the UI a lot simpler and cleaner down below:
From now you will read about the game a lot more often. We will update you on the progress of Electrician Simulator and gather your feedback. Feel free to join us on Discord Server and ask anything.

One to store them all
Brand new US electrical panel to store your circuit breakers:
As the Caesar said
As the Caesar said: there cannot be a household without an electricity meter. So in order to keep the Roman legions away our ancestors created devices that measure the amount of electric energy consumed by their antique electrically powered devices. We wanted to be a part of this history, so recently we've been working on this US analogue electricity meter:
Do you like analog gauges or I'm the only fan of this here?
Small task for you
Hey, guys! We're still alive! How would you plug in this electrical socket?
