First up, some bugfixes!
MacOS Catalina microphone fix As some of you know and have helped us to gain more info, the MacOS Microphone Issue is not yet completely fixed. With the issue being bigger than we thought, we are back to our dev caves to fix this problem. Please stand by <3
Invalid loadouts due to swapping accounts & selection of unowned items/perks/characters/skins should no longer cause selections to break.
Upgrades to In-game UI
Added new visuals for player voice and text chat
All players are now visible with their name, class and a character portrait in the top left of the screen. Aliens see their partner persistently in purple.
Dead players can see all roles in the top left
Voice hotkeys are now persistently visible in the top left.
Alien text chat now writes in purple in the text entry field.
Added a new frame for character health bars which is much cleaner than the old one.
Added health ticks at every interval of 25 HP and a large tick at every 100 HP interval.
Updated the backgrounds in the character selection and end game screens.
For the Socials
Added a button in-game that allows you to add players as steam friends. This button is beside the names of players in the TAB menu, end game screen, and in match history.
Match History
Added match history for the last 30 games, located in the Ship's Log tab Selecting any match will give a detailed breakdown of the match including all player stats and friend buttons for each player. NOTE: Games played before this patch will be missing ability and perk data as this data was not being recorded on a per-player per-game basis until now.
Ascension 6+
Added an infinite number of ascensions after ascension 5.
Ascensions 6+ are guaranteed to only roll golden perks and have slightly lower level up costs than Ascension 5.
The purpose of ASC 6+ is to allow players who have maxed characters to reroll in the following situations:
When they feel like it.
Allowing access to roll newly added perks in future content updates.
Ascensions 6+ are represented by a single golden star and wreath beside a character class in the progression tab.
Kickstarter Skins are back!
The following Kickstarter skins have been upgraded and added back into the game
Bronze Otto
Silver Xenna
Gold Lucian
Mr. Diamond Monkus
Each skin includes a custom repair kit skin.

[FIXED] Unexpected Server Maintenance
[Update] Seems like we ran out of storage space because of all the games you all played. We have cleared up some space now, and will be looking into fully squashing this issue as soon as possible.

Since 2020-05-24 16:00 UTC (9AM PST), the servers for Enemy On Board seemed to have gone down.
We are currently investigating the source of this issue, and are working as fast as possible to bring the game back up.
We will be editing this announcement with updates as we progress.

Patch Notes v1.0.1
Now that we're finally in Early Access, we have a whole new set of challenges.
The most difficult of all so far have been struggling over naming the version of our Patch Notes ;)
Did we want to do "v1.1" or "v1.0.1" or should we just call them "hotfixes"? Do we want to save version 1.0 for launch? Maybe we should just give them all cool-sounding names?
So we decided that for now, we will use the format:

Patch Notes v1.0.1
We've been listening to a ton of feedback from the community, and this week, we wanted to address some of the low-hanging-fruit problems and issues.
Voice upgrades to hopefully fix some microphone issues
Note: Players with MacOS may still experience microphone issues. This issue is still one of our highest priority.
Bug fixes for Tooltips and Game End Screen
Upgrading our "Report Player" functionality, including ban visibility
When reporting players, there are now categories for grievances (ie. Hate Speech, Offensive Name, Teaming, etc). In addition, banned players will receive a pop-up when they log into the game explaining their banned condition.
Starting Item Unlocks for progressing new players
Players will now be introduced to each new starting item over the course of a few games played.
With each new starting item unlock, there will be a descriptive pop-up detailing how the item is used.
We are still working on a ton of other new features and fixes to address the needs of our community. Lots more to come very soon!

Anyways...we've been hard at work as per usual and are now starting to work through some changes.

PATCH NOTES
ROUND
Added voice indicators for approaching generator failure. This should help remind us all to do generators.
ABILITIES
Battle Rage: Removed movespeed bonus from active ability.
Heal: Now targets player with the lowest % health. Fixed heal beacon health.
Shield: Deals 4/6/8 damage on break. Cast time reduced to .75/.6/.45
Force Blaster: Sweet spot knockback slightly decreased.
PERKS
Knuckle Dusters: Base damage reduced to 0 at all levels. Damage vs Transformed Aliens increased to 16/18/20. Damage during battle rage increased to 6/7/8.
Second Wind: Added visual and sound indicators on trigger.
Shock Therapy: Max health increased by 2/4/6 on trigger.
Advanced Optics: Increase substantially at all levels. Is now a Spy character perk.
Thermal Imaging: Is now a general perk.
Espresso: 5/10/15% => 10/17.5/25%
Make It Rain: Fixed Level 3 perk bug
Alien Hunter: Doubled the bonus when the target is an alien.
Pack Tactics: 1/2/3 => 2/2.5/3
Lightweight: 2/4/6%
Ninja: 8/12/16%
Scrappy: 7/6/5 -> 6/5/4
ALIENS
Symbiont ability cooldowns at game start increased from 5 -> 15s
Adjusted some movement and attack point parameters to make attacking feel smoother and more accurate
Reduced alien attack time from .85 -> .75 seconds
Adjust alien attack animation to properly match the swing time
Leech time to drain 1.75s -> 1.65s
OTHER
Default Character Button added in the progression tab.
Abilities in sandbox mode.
Fixed being able to pick up items when the player had action block on them (stun, and cast animations).
Fixed animation stances breaking on other players when casting abilities that were hidden or had no cast time.
All characters can punch when an empty slot is equipped.

The Windwalk Team has worked for months to prepare for this day, and now it's finally here!

The Free Tier offers THREE unique characters and their abilities. You'll be able to choose between Otto the Medic, Triss the Spy, or Xenna the Captain. Play games, earn credits, and unlock special perks to top the competition!

The Founder's Edition DLC will unlock three more characters for you to play with, as well as 6 amazing skins to show-off to your friends.
