Patch 0.28

General:

  • Options Menu - Sound options now works


Changes:

  • Lowered the size of the Methyl-sprites (sprites over plants when rmb is down)
  • Omani and Argos flags now have physics and interact with the ball
  • Updated particle for when a plant spawns
  • Updated particle for when planting a seed
  • Moved Steve and Hannah in the Main Menu.
  • Added preview mesh for Mortar in customization menu.
  • Join Game server browser now has proper icon to show if servers are being loaded.
  • Minimap should now be generated through code rather than drawn by hand.

  • Omani Arena - Lighting on level is opted

Balance Changes:

  • Lowered the strength of the railgunpull to match lower push strength.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with the loadingscreens. Temporary loadingscreen is now back.
  • The ball can no longer collide with the shield.
  • Fixed an issue (again) where another player was able to grab the ball just after a score was made.
  • Now more than one person can stand on the smokebutton without breaking it.

Patch 0.27

Patch 0.27 - pre-insomnia patch.

General:

  • Methylation Glove Laser now pulls balls towards the player.
  • Ability to drop the ball in front of you by aiming downward and throwing.
  • Players can now set the mode of the railgun in the Customization menu. It can either Pull or Push.
  • New music implemented for when one of the teams can capture the last platform
  • New and improved foliage.
  • The radio tower in all levels now has sound.
  • New ingame music implemented.
  • New music before game starts.


Removed:
  • Removed the experience bar from the Customize Menu
  • Removed the experience bar from the Endgame Stats screen.
  • Removed some old music.

Changes:
  • Updated textures for each teams platform
  • Hit indication particle for the Methylation Beam
  • Hit indication sound added for the Methylation Beam
  • The player carrying a pickup can no longer see the particle around him
  • The music now fades in and out instead of just cutting.
  • Pause menu now has a new hairstyle
  • Reworked the graphics of the Load out & Seed select symbols in Customize menu
  • Reworked spawn and decay sound on the all the plants.
  • Chat messages from all players are now shown on the screen without the need to open the chat window.
  • Minor color and layout fixes to the Customize menu.

Balance Changes:
  • Poff firerate lowered (up from 0.37 to 0.55)
  • Poff projectiles now travel faster (up from 10000 to 19000)
  • Poff projectile explosion radius lowered (from 400 to 250)
  • Railgun firerate (down from 1.5 to 1.1)
  • Railgun now has a larger falloff when firing at extreme range.

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed ball going through the ground if ball is thrown down into the ground.
  • Fixed some particles not showing up in spectator mode

Patch 0.26



New:

  • - New: Plant - Mortar
    This plant shoots blobs that stick on the ground or in the air depending on where the impact is.
    When near this blob you can’t use your thruster.
    When you go outside of the blob your jumps get restored (the same applies when in the air) to the amount you had when you walked into the blob.
    Known bug: Jump Arrows are not removed while standing in the blob.
  • - New: Tutorial
    There is now a small single-player tutorial in the game which takes a player through the very basics of the game.
    The tutorial explains things such as movement, win-conditions, seeds and plants.
    Fully voice acted.
    Known bug: If multiple voices are triggered, they get layered.

- Removed:

  • Removed the experience bar from the Customize Menu
  • RoundTime and ReadyDelay from Config.

Changes:

  • Railgun rework: The velocity applied is now towards the shooting player rather than away from the shooting player. (Yes this still works on teammates, the ball and enemies.)
  • Players with pickups now have a small particle floating around them to indicate which pickup they are carrying (red, green and yellow).
  • Rocket Jumping is now totally doable (very experimental)
  • Added cooldown indication on HUD for Grapple.
  • Added tutorial button in the Main Menu
  • Reworked the layout of the Customize Menu
  • Added credit screen to the Main Menu
  • Updated Omanis ground, ramp and building roots textures
  • Updated Melee animation
  • Added color-coded buff count on the HUD for Argos and Omani.
  • You can now see both of the teams passive buffs at any given time, not just your own.
  • Added a melee animation for third person.

  • Poff(rocket) now has a slightly stronger knockback and lesser falloff.
  • Poff now goes faster (up from 8000 to 10000)
  • Poff explosion radius is now greater (up from 350 to 400)

Patch notes for version 0.24

General:
* New: Loadout System
- You can now customize your loadout of seeds
- Each player gets 3 seed slots
- Each seed slot can have one plant with a passive attached
- These are the seeds you get when you score a goal

* Removed weapon-mode UI icons.
* Removed foliage for now, expect a reworked edition soon. Reason: Slowing down servers.

* The thruster(jump) now has redesigned UI elements.

* You can no longer stand inside the goal or pick up the ball before it respawns after a goal
* Several other minor fixes

- Map rotation is now in.

Early Access Tournament!

The Early Access Tournament will take place online from the 15th to the 18th November! It will be streamed on DS3P Official Twitch.tv channel everyday from 19:30 - 22:00 (UTC+1).

Games will be played 5v5, so make sure you've gathered your team!
No prizes has been announced so far but it's in the talks.
