日本人! We need your help!
Once again we are working on a Japanese version of our coming title Outshine.
Just like Epistory and Nanotale, Outshine will work with companion words which are romanized versions of the words you have to type in Japanese.
Thanks to you we learned a bit more about Japanese localization while developing our typing game and now we understand that there are different ways to romanize it. There is the Hepburn romanization that generally follows English phonology with Romance vowels. But also the Nihon-shiki romanization originally invented for Japanese and his modified variant the Kunrei-shiki.
So our question is: What romanization Japanese would prefer in Outshine?
Please, if you are a player from Japan, vote using that Google form.
Here are a few in-game examples so you can better decide. The Hepburn is used in Nanotale while the Nihon-shiki is used in Outshine.

If you missed the news on Nanotale. Since the campaign for the Fox from Epistory on Makeship was a success, we'd like to run another campaign with characters from Nanotale. Therefore, we'd like to now if you'd prefer to have the Blue Fox (cute plushie version), the Green Jasper, or both.

Updates about Epistory and our other games
We are currently working on an update of Epistory to support Apple M1.
An update of Nanotale which fixes remaining bugs and supports Apple M1 is also in progress.
Finally, our new typing game Outshine is ready to be released and should be out around the end of October. Don't forget to wishlist it if it's not done yet.

Fox Plush now available and update on the game
It's out! The Three Tailed Fox Plush from Epistory is now available on Makeship. We now have 21 days to reach the minimum funding goal of 200 pre-orders to launch the production. The Epistory plush is a limited edition so it won't be possible to find it after the campaign. Don't miss it out! Once the product is ready, we ship it directly to you.
BONUS: With every plush purchase you will receive a digital copy of Epistory!
Game update
On a side note, we compiled all the bugs reports since our last update and worked on an update to fix them.
Fixes:
- Sfx (ambiance) still audible in fire dungeon even when all sound disabled
- Arena score not displayed in "me" tab
- "Tree Name" code display above tree barks instead of word
- Some diacritics not typeable on Linux & MacOS
- English words in Russian dictionary
- Wrong keyboard in the UI
- "Easiest" is now easier
- Tweaked some smaller issues
This, we hope, will be the last update on our beloved Epistory.

News about the plush
Yesterday, during our stream of Outshine, a Fox Rider asked us about the Fox Plush. It was the perfect timing because we did get some news.
We validated the design and now we are waiting for the physical version to be shipped at the studio. Then, if it passes the hugging test we'll make the campaign on Makeship live and you'll be able to get your own limited version of our beloved Fox. As a bonus, with every purchase you will receive a digital version of Epistory to keep or to gift.
