We are more than happy to announce that we're going to release our Espresso Tycoon Prologue: Underwater on the 4th of November 2022!
We have a new gameplay video:
We can say that we've made very big progress since the demo version of Espresso Tycoon.
Thanks to having the players' feedback we were able to fulfill our goals from the roadmap, fix a lot of bugs and add a bunch of new features.
Here are a few of them:
- a possibility to have more than one barista working at the same time
- skipping time to the next day
- new decoration items
- a possibility of selling snacks
- toppings in the coffee editor
- profit and loss table
- different coffee machines
- a possibility to save and load the game state

That was a very interesting choice and it took a lot of work to make it real :)
We really hope that you'll like the game and be able to feel the mood that we've created!

How can WE save the ocean?
Dear Coffee Lovers,
In our underwater location we want to add some features that will help raise awareness about the need of protecting the ocean.
It is well known that there is a lot of garbage floating in the ocean, which threatens many animal species. And it is the actions of each of us that can improve this condition.
We want to show this in the game. We have our ideas - but we want to listen to yours.
How can we raise awareness about this issue in a game about running an underwater cafe?

Dear Coffee Lovers,
This is the last chance to play our demo! We are going to close it... tomorrow (September 1st)!
So open your coffee shop, decorate it, hire new employees, create brand new coffee recipes, and... prepare for some updates.

Check some more news from our Espresso Tycoon and the Underwater location, what’s going on in the game, and how it’s being made. We have the new location, we're adding new features (like selling snack or new coffee machines), and some more!
New location in progress - UNDERWATER! Can YOU see the SHARK?
Dear Coffee Lovers,
We are proud to present to you our new location - UNDERWATER (Sydney).
As you know, in our demo, we have just one location for the coffee shop. As you might have seen in our roadmap - in the full version of Espresso Tycoon, we're going to have several different locations.
And that one - UNDERWATER - will be used in the Prologue! That's YOUR decision ːsteamhappyː We wanted you to choose one of the six proposed locations and Underwater got most of your votes.
And here it is!
Working on such a location is not easy. We don’t have… sky here! So it takes a lot of work (and time) to adjust proper lightning.

Of course, such a location requires unique and specific surroundings. Your customers will admire sharks, jellyfish, octopus, and sunken ships…The supplies will be delivered by submarines! (Drones wouldn’t fly here, right?)
NEW FEATURES
According to our roadmap and your requests - we’re going to add new features. These are:

You must keep track of the stock you have in your coffee shop. Order coffee beans, milk, and syrups, and choose their quality and price.
Click on the supplies icon in the upper right corner to open the supplies window.
Choosing the products
Choose the bookmark with the product category you need to order. Check their quality, unit capacity, and price.
Ordering supplies
Click the "Order" button to see the order details. Choose the number of units and the time of delivery. Note that an instant delivery is quick but expensive.
Refilling the supplies
You will get notified if your supplies run out of stock. Click on the notification to open the supplies window and order new ones. Try to avoid missing supplies not to get negative reviews.
Checking needed supplies
Open the menu window and move the cursor to a coffee recipe to check what supplies you need. You’ll also see other requirements for preparing a given coffee.
Changing the priorities
If you have more than one ingredient in the same group (and they differ in quality) you can change the priorities of using them.
Receiving the order
Your supplies will arrive at your coffee shop by drone delivery. You will see them arriving with the package containing your order.
Collecting the supplies
Click on the packages to collect them. Once you do it they will get added to your supplies.
Don't forget to check the budget! Think a few steps ahead and organize your supplies' delivery wisely ːsteamhappyː
