Dear Coffee Lovers,
You may have noticed that in Espresso Tycoon you are not able to use all of the decoration items and ingredients at the beginning of the game.
Research is a way to unlock them.
First of all, you need to get the second golden bean to use that feature.
Then you have to click on the research icon to open the proper window.
As you can see, there are two bookmarks - one for the decoration items, and the second one for the ingredients. You can set the priorities of the research in each of them.
For example: if you want to unlock just new plants - you can set it right there. You can also decide how much money you want to spend on it. That will have an impact on the speed of the research.
You will be notified when a new element will be researched and ready to use.
In the research window, you can see all the decoration items and ingredients you unlocked. You can check the progress, change the priorities, or change the budget.
Remember - if you don’t allocate some money there, you will not be able to unlock new elements.
Unlocked items and ingredients can make your business grow faster!
The research feature may be needed in the other parts of the game.
Here’s the example: In the coffee editor, you can create latte art. But - to use it - you have to unlock the Steamed Milk or Milk Foam first.
You may also accept the challenge based on the research feature. Using it wisely will help you get the award.

LOCATIONS
In our demo, we have just one location for the coffee shop. You may say it’s one of the European cities (not the specific one).
In the full version of the game, we're going to have 16 different locations. The Prologue will have one – but also a brand new one.
What kind of locations would you like to see?
Should the location influence the whole coffee shop? For example – the coffee shop located in the park should have some new decoration items like sun loungers or umbrellas?
Should the location influence the market research and social groups' preferences?
