[p]Bumped up skill XP gain as a % of damage/healing/damage taken, let us know how this feels vs. before.[/p]
[p]Multiple monsters, when killed, now have a gatherable corpse. This corpse has a chance to give materials which can be consumed for XP in: Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Heavy Armor.[/p]
[p]We will continue to add more methods and strategies to control how to gain Skill XP, keep sharing your feedback![/p]
[p]FOR TESTING: Trading Post + Banking[/p]
[p]Trading Post Clerks have been added for testing in the West Edrivine Market Square, near the leyline.[/p]
[p]We've done some extensive testing on the system and would like to open it up for broad feedback.[/p]

[p]New Chest Armor Enchants[/p]

[p]Crits had a flaw in their logic and were ignoring armor, this has been corrected.[/p]
[p]Deadlands has had some buffs and adjustments to make the area more interesting.[/p]
[p]Set Bonus tooltip text has been updated to remove the +, which was confusing.[/p]
[p]Max Cast Time has been set to 3x the base cast time, which will prevent massive cast times while encumbered.[/p]
[p]Using the Giant's Ring will now teach the trinket recipes.[/p]
[p]T9 damage enchants have had their tooltips updated to clarify that the damage scales slightly with the player's level.[/p]
[p]Player and monster movespeed has been slightly increased, we still felt it wasn't perfect despite saying last time it was just right. We'll keep working to dial it in![/p]

Performance Improvements We've been working hard to improve performance and have seen even more significant gains in FPS, with far less hitching on our test hardware. Server stability should be greatly improved as well
World Design Updates @captaindave5393 spent some time going over much of central Irumesa, improving roads/paths, creating PoIs, and adding a new mini boss, Kresh, in the swamplands near Marshdale!
Trading Post Progress @sprocket_bbf is very hard at work on the Trading Post - we're in the testing phase, making sure everything is working properly and is very user-friendly. Should be ready soon!
Next Up: Lightning Weapons @samael5142 is hard at work on modeling the legendary equipment - check out one the epic new lightning weapons in progress!
Loot Table Tweaks As requested, we're starting to reduce pure raw silver (a quick & dirty solution I added long ago) and add a variety of drops to monster tables to make loot more interesting! This is not a nerf to gold per kill but a re-allocation to more loot

Fishing Lures
SimSinister is hard at work implementing the fishing lure system. Better rolls, better fish when you're using bait!
Travelling Merchants
Chisme has placed a handful of traveling merchants around the world, featuring a variety of useful items such as random potions, elixirs, and tier 4 armor pieces for purchase.
Maps Progress Check out @Cubano's "Hall of Heroes" map design for the upcoming keys system!
Gathering Tasks Morgan has been working hard to implement and fix bugs with the new gathering tasks. Skinning task is up next!

Render Distance (Experimental)
By popular demand, we've implemented a way to improve the render distance of objects on the client. You'll find a new slider in Settings -> Graphics which will allow you to adjust your distance from 25 to 100 tiles

New Area: Pasho's Place
Stop by this tinkerer's workshop near Marshdale with an anxious friendly grimbear and his automaton creation
New Monster: Troll Sage
Added troll sages - A goblinoid creature that communes with the trees around them. They are strong amongst the trees, but if you separate them, you'll feel their wrath.
Monster Resistance Tweaks
Monster resists and weaknesses were a bit aggressive for open world, so we tuned them back a bit and will ramp them in future endgame content. We may tweak these values for primordial spirits and other mobs - expect more improvements
Capped Resistances to 25% damage reduction Capped Weaknesses to 25% additional damage taken Modified weaknesses and resistances for most monsters
Miscellaneous
Minimum character name length set to 2 characters
Non-HC deaths will no longer trigger a death message
Server stability improvements
HC will no longer be removed on death in Training Grounds
Item on Ground Despawn Timer reduced to 3 minutes from 30 minutes
Caravan Spawns disabled while they get reworked
Switching Gear in Combat bug fixed
Spell Type has been added to all tooltips (Spell vs. Ability)
Removal of excessive colliders and geometry in Solitary Isles, which may improve performance in the area
Re-ran the Icon Update script, which should ensure items have visible icons
Disabled some settings on lights in game which could cause deterioration of performance
Open Nearby Corpses renamed to Open Loot Windows
Currency should now stack properly in corpses
Trade Packs should no longer be bankable
Dropped Items (Or on death) should retain previous ownership if a player logs out/dies
Items dropped on ground due to failed add item conditions should now hold previous ownership and game mode settings.
Hardcore players should only be able to trade with Hardcore players
Hardcore players should only be able to party with Hardcore players

Book of Knowledge
Completing a Monster Hunter Task will now reward you with a Book of Knowledge. This Book can be used to apply skill XP to Melee, Ranged, Magic, Light, Medium, or Heavy -- or, you can gain XP toward your character level!
Water Lighting Improvements
Water previously was unaffected by light after moving to Unity 6. Now, we've updated the water shaders to react to light. This brings the aesthetic together a lot better than before! Hope you like it.
Multi-Directional Movement Animations
We've added directional movement for all weapons, so things should feel a lot more fluid/natural now! These animations aren't the final versions, but are better than moonwalking!

We often make items in honor of our most dedicated and loyal players. Jasc O Nine joins Scabbybob [TM] The Greener and more who have something special in game to thank them for being amazing and helpful as we build the game

Sporehaven - Elite Zone
A new zone has been added to the game, featuring content for 15-21 and 30-34 with mobs, quests, and lots of humor
Chisme describes it as "An ecosystem of fungal life and mysterious darkness." Good luck!

Miscellaneous
Fixed an issue where Eternal Tools would sometimes fail to gather resources due to the speed being too fast
Fixed an issue where Fire Imbuements were not calculating the correct damage for Zealots
Fixed an issue where Zealots of Alphyrion did not have the correct armor value
Fixed an issue where Elementalist applied status effect logic was not working correctly
A few Feygold nodes added near Grimbear spawns
A few Palladium nodes added near Slimestone Spiders
All Tasks are now shown on the Taskboard rather than randomly selected tasks
Interrupting an enemy or player will now trigger a 1s CD at minimum
"Member has come online / gone offline" message now appears in system chat when a guild member logs in
Monsters that die on a different layer than they spawn will now properly respawn when killed
Fixed a bug with coins stacking multiple times in bags
When overweight, movespeed is now reduced by 90% instead of 80%. This may not be enough, so let us know any feedback on this!
Added code to prevent hostile actions between guildies
The HC status effect should now apply to both HC and HCIM properly
Party member details should now be visible throughout the entire map instead of when the party members are nearby. We are working on eventually passing information cross-map too
More SFX added to monsters for death and hit triggers
Player collider tightened to fit the form of the player instead of extend far to the sides
Movement fluidity improvements
Implemented code to prevent higher floors from culling in weird ways, specifically this will be noticeable on mountains
The Camera will now collide with more objects and zoom in closer to the player when necessary
5 New Rare monsters have been added - killing them may drop some epic loot!
