Build 15 - Lots of fixes

ADDITIONS:

  • Pressing the B gamepad button and ESCAPE key now goes to the previous menu
  • Added a spectator-specific HUD
  • Added a recall charge effect
  • Added a button to the lobby to cancel the start timer
  • Adding more functionality to settings
  • Added a sensor mine ability sound effect

ADJUSTMENTS:

  • When runners go through the warp gate, the effect is coloured appropriately
  • Improved the ping ability's sound effect
  • A stationary runner cannot start being locked by the missile, but a throttle of zero does not break a lock
  • The runner HUD now shows when a missile has been fired at them
  • The HUD now shows orb stashing & total number of orbs needed to power up the warp gate
  • Servers now have a default name set to the host's name in the case they don't want to create a custom server name
  • Updated the ability descriptions and description box in the lobby
  • Increased some of HUD elements' sizing
  • Limited the length of server names
  • Orb spawning metrics have been adjusted


BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed a bug where environmental grass was blocking the player's view when they were hiding in it
  • Fixed a bug where un-highlighting a server slot from the browser screen would turn them white instead of returning to their original dark colour
  • Fixed a bug where the boost would continue as a player recalls
  • Fixed a bug where the camera could clip through the floor in the customization menu
  • Fixed a bug where the recall ability could only be heard by some players
  • Fixed a bug where runners who escaped through the warp gate looked like they exploded
  • Fixed a bug where players would feel controller rumble when other players died
  • Fixed a bug where the orb vacuum ability continued running after letting go of the ability button
  • Fixed a bug where the game would briefly start to play the map audio again when switching from the game end screen to the lobby
  • Fixed a bug where the game would crash if a player was searching for a game session, then backed out before the search was complete

  • Added separate button for missile firing
  • Added sound effects to tell players their ability is ready or not

  • Added new map thumbnails in the map selection screen

ADJUSTMENTS:

  • Reworked the EMP effects
  • Reworked the hunter's boosting effects
  • Victory screen now displays which team won
  • Missile is now on by default for hunters
  • Adjusted the warp gate colours to reflect the runner colours
  • Updated the runner's HUD to better display being targeted and locked by hunter missiles

Build 12 - Maps, Maps & Maps


  • The lobby now displays the total allowed player number, host name, and server name
  • New warp gate model has been added
  • Video, resolution, & graphics settings implemented
  • Protana Station map has been completed
  • Orion's Curse map has been completed
  • Upper Vale map has been completed
  • Structica map has been completed
  • Reyliant map has been completed
  • Customization is complete
  • When picking up orbs, runners start saving orbs every few seconds. This allows them to save some progress on charging the gate and reduce the risk of losing all their progress
  • Fixed a ship collision glitch
  • Version 1 of the match music system is in place
  • UI scaling is being worked on
  • Warp gate FX replication bug has been resolved

Build 9 - FX & Customization


  • Reworked player death & respawning
  • The gate FX have been reworked
  • Hunter's missile ability has accompanying HUD elements
  • HUD can be toggled on or off
  • On-screen markers now disappear when the game ends
  • Each map's lobby has a new custom background view
  • Server slots now include map name
  • Added a warning if the host is missing a server name & server password

Build 7 UI Updates & Customization Start


  • Loading screen is now called when creating a lobby and joining a lobby
  • Flying ships were added in the main menu background
  • Lobby joining glitch that prevented players from joining a lobby has been fixed
  • The boundary shield material's fade has been widened to work with more FOVs
  • Smoke FX have been added to Orion's Curse
  • Ship patterns can have different colours
  • A new Runner ship has been created. There are now 8 unique ships
  • Implemented a Hunter missile lock ability along with some FX and SFX
  • Ship engines, abilities and orbs are different colours based on the selected map
  • The settings menu has been redesigned
  • The customization menu has been designed

Build 5 Lots of tweaks


  • Sign in menu and main menu no longer appear on the same screen
  • Increased the contrast on button text
