Halloween Event - Harbingers Return

Trick or Treat Officers, Happy Halloween.



The story so far


HARBGRS (Hivemind Automation for Recycling, Building-maintenance, Governance, Repairs and Sanitation) nick-named Harbinger-systems , was once an experimental AI that services entire metropolitan. The core purpose was a massive system that brings to life wide array of machinery and resources to function on a single purpose of maintaining city-wide infrastructures.

When these futuristic cities fell to the anarchists, the AI lost control of their primary directive.
In a bid to gain balance in the chaos, it's sub-system evolved violent means to sanitize the city of all major lifeforms. It is unknown what new directives it has given itself.

The rogue AI has now taken over Axeron assets and has integrated biological warfare components to its arsenal of weapons. With the use of powerful hallucinogens, it has created an army that blurs the line between what's real and what's not. These abominations now march across the lands. They must be stopped at all cost.

How to Play


Participate in these 3 special Halloween PVE modes to earn exclusive rewards. During the entire duration of this event, Co-op missions will be replaced. You can earn special candy currency while on these missions to purchase the new event-exclusive cosmetics.

URBAN APOCALYPSE



The harbingers are finally here with their forces to disrupt our mission to gather data.
We need to stop them. Eliminate the harbingers, deliver their heads to our base for further analysis.

HOMELAND HORROR



Our defensive lines are being targeted by waves of possessed raiders. The SAM sites prevent the arrival of more harbingers. Do not lose them or there will be a heavy price to pay.

CARGO OF DEATH



Our security forces escorting Olympus Convoy has been targeted as well. Keep your eyes open, expect assault from the harbingers as we approach extraction points.


Event Rewards



The sinister pumpkins have returned. Collect these orange ornates and gather the sweet treats within to earn event exclusive goodies. Remember, higher difficulty spawns higher value pumpkins.

Here are how you can obtain these lovely candies:
- Mission victory : 200 Candies
- Mission defeat : 100 Candies
- Each sinister Pumpkin : 5 candies
- Special sinister Pumpkin : 50 candies

These candy currency allow you to purchase items on the Event Store.

These missions will be available from 28th October to 11th November (2 Weeks).

[Improvements / Changes]




    General Officer(FPS) Gameplay

  • Max weapon Credits for players increased to 4500 from 3000
  • Increased all battlesuit cost to 3000 from 2500

    General Commander(RTS) Gameplay

  • Commander can now issue Set Goal command to human officer and an icon will show up in the officer screen to indicate the goal location. This helps to communicate team goals.
  • Added scatter command to scatter selected infantry units.
  • Extended self-destruct button for infantry as well to dispose of unwanted units.
  • Suppression-pinned down retreat behavior for infantry is now removed. Suppression still discourage attack-move units from advancing.
  • Heavy-infantry ( Ironguards & Guardian Trooper ) now has dual combat behavior. While using Attack-move, they will adjust position to attack. But when issue stop command (X-key), they will stay in position.
  • Changed power reactor shortcut key to P

    Viper

  • Viper can how drag enemy officer all the way to the front even while alive. Turning it into a very deadly ability that can disrupt enemy position.
  • Viper's charged claw will now lock enemy battlesuit ability as well.

    SATM Seeker Package

  • Reduced SATM Seeker's projectile damage to have the same damage as the normal SATM
  • SATM Seeker now can only fire one projectile at a time. UI has changed to reflect this.
  • SATM Seeker rounds will now fire in a more natural path and will speed up when it descends. The result of this change means you require a higher clearance area for the initial launch up location.




[Map Improvements]



  • Removed all instances of resource point being able to be secured from inside the base using power reactor.
  • TOWN SQUARE : Removed a few tall buildings near 'C' point that blocks play area.
  • TOWN SQUARE : Extend shortcut to A and C point to the middle road.
  • SUNDAY MALL : Adjusted path on B/C lane and changed resource points so that lockdown armory no longer block paths.
  • SUNDAY MALL : Added Rooftop access to Victory point B and C in Sunday Mall
  • Readjusted certain resource points in Crossing due to distance imbalance

[Balance Changes]




    Weapon Balance

  • SiGAR & XM13 Marksman package range has been increase to 120m
  • XM45 Mag package Clip size is now the same as base weapon.
  • XM45 Mag package Fire rate decrease by 20% instead of 50% .
  • MRPG Cluster package price increased to 1500 from 500
  • ESP (Emergency Shield Pack) price reduced to 400 from 750
  • S1911-Sidekick price reduced to 600 from 800
  • ZC9-Handcannon price reduced to 600 from 800
  • AntiTank mines increase to 3 quantity. Price increased to 1200 from 1000
  • UA9 High Capacity package spread and recoil reduced significantly.
  • G12 Guided package now has 1500 splash damage with regular falloff.
  • Increased MASER and CPC cost to 3000 from 2500
  • Shockwave now will fire more traces, increased impact damage to 83 from 70. While the DPS for max damage is still the same, it allows for more consistent spread damage.
  • Removed critical damage bonus from Shockwave but base value increased to match the original dps.

    Other Balance changes


  • Recon Toolkit build time is reduced to 5 seconds from 30
  • Marine cost credit is dropped to 360 from 400
  • Engineer credit cost drop to 250 from 300
  • FREE units for GSF for first barracks is changed to 6 Marine + 1 Phalanx from 10 marines
  • GSF Phalanx Crew cost reduced to 2200/300/0 from 2400/300/0
  • Guardian Trooper cost reduced to 2600/1100/0 from 2600/1600/0
  • Elite Marine cost changed to 750/150/0 from 650/200/0
  • Specialist cost reduced to 650/150/0 from 800/200/0
  • Elite Marine Weapon Upgrade command is now a production with a 5 seconds production time
  • Selecting a group of Elite Marines and upgrading their weapon will now only upgrade 1 of the elite marine in the group instead of all
  • Harlem Protocol Mortar Crew will have limit based on the difficulty (Easy & Normal = 1, Hard = 2, Brutal = 3)
  • Updated Harlem Protocol unit threshold (Easy 30 to 50, Normal 50 to 60, Hard 87 to 85)
  • Ironguard damage and fire-rate decreased to 70dmg with 13.3rounds/sec from 80dmg with 14.28rounds/sec. (Total DPS decrease to 931 from 1142)
  • Ironguard price increased to 2000 from 1800
  • Guardian trooper will now only heavy flinch when hit by anti-tank. Explosive and high damage bullet will only do light flinch.
  • Hyperion Defensive Drone ability cooldown increase from 1s to 3s
  • Adjusted time required for Cyclone Precision Strike's projectiles to reach its target location to almost the same as Barrage Strike

  • Precious Cargo cargo transport time is increased by 30%


[Bug Fixes]



  • Fixed an issue with Engineer repair animation won't stop even after order is canceled and when issuing another order right after engineer plays repair animation
  • Fixed the offset for Divine arms frames
  • Fixed an issue with Attack Ground command that bypass AI lock (For example, EMPed vehicle will still fire at the ground)
  • Fixed an issue with Attack Ground won't reset priority target
  • Fixed Bus Mesh and Removed one way window glass
  • Fixed an issue with the FPS hand would go missing when holding a weapon in a battle suit
  • Fixed car clipping issue in Express
  • Fixed an issue with Viper ability animation stuck when when toggling ability and entering into RTS mode
  • Fixed an issue with Aegis Super Charge beam when hitting an Ironguard just after it dies will still show successful heal message
  • Fixed an issue in Challenge level will spawn the player twice and sometimes even will have floating weapons or enemy that will shoot at the invisible officer
  • Fixed an issue with Orion's passive when deactivated under a Phantom Drone will become unstealth
  • Fixed an issue with Guardian Trooper wrong build source in the Intel Menu
  • Fixed an issue with certain vehicles disappearing when its at the corner of player screen
  • Fixed an issue with Hybrid Alloy armor showing inaccurate description of bonuses
  • Fixed an issue with Stealth Crawler turret that does not apply the stealth material if a player joins in half way of the match while Stealth Crawler is in stealth
  • Fixed an issue with AXR Command Centre still having some navmesh underneath it causing Officer to teleport underneath it
  • Fixed an issue with rejoin button not displaying in the Pre-game lobby
  • Fixed an issue with Spectator able to go out of map bounds
  • Fixed an issue while under the Phantom Drone and purchasing an ISW package upgrade, the attachments are stealth but the weapon is not.
  • Fixed chat message box overlapping RTS panel
  • Fixed an issue with Pre-Game Lobby session is not cleared when the match ends
  • Fixed an issue with the interaction disappearing in a high ping environment

It is time for the Grand Final of Eximius Season 2 - EU Invitational!



As a result from yesterday's event with plenty of close matches and battle, and got dragged beyond the time limit, hence the Final has been postponed to a later time

The Final will run on the 5th of October 2021, starting from (UTC) 5:00PM / (ET) 1:00PM / (CEST) 7:00PM. Come and watch as HelpingHans and WinterGaming battle it out in an attempt to crown themselves champion of Season 2 - EU Invitational

Eximius 1.1.1 Update - 1st October 2021


Greetings Officers, this update features a few RTS camera improvements mainly with the rotation and keybindings as well as UI improvements and a few balance changes. We're exited to see your reaction and feedback for these improvements and changes.

In this patch, player's level experience has been adjusted to follow a newer calculation. Your player level will increase but to compensate for your credits lost everyone will be given a special event contract by playing 1 online match to gain 4000 credits with no time limit attached.

RTS Camera Improvements



  • Added Ability to Re-bind Rotate RTS Camera to any Key Shortcut
  • Added RTS Camera Rotation Sensitivity in the Control Settings
  • Added Separate Reset RTS Camera Rotation Key assigned to "Backspace"


Officer UI Improvements


We have made a couple of changes to the Officer UI by removing the previous officer icon that was not informative to players and instead replaced it with the player's callsign icon to distinguish between officers better. Also we've added a compact Officer Unit indicator for when officers are far from the sight of the player to reduce overall screen clutter. Do let us know what do you think about this change.




General Improvements



  • EMP Strike will now show its targeted radius when selecting it
  • GSF Artillery Strike and AXR EMP Strike will now show a warning icon in the RTS view of where the artillery strike will be dropping
  • Set Squad Quick Charge In command default key from L to X
  • Added canceling of RTS Rotation Camera if the Player rotates camera while the reset is in progress
  • Cloudy lighting has reduced bloom and lens flare for emissive


Balance Changes



  • Changed Recon Toolkit Upgrade to 150 from 500 supply cost
  • Covert Vanguard now will instantly kill an officer (by pass DBNO)
  • MULE will now stop healing when deploying
  • AXR Recon Drone "Select Scanning Location" and GSF Communication Centre "Select Jamming Location" commands will now have 30 seconds of cooldown after use
  • Seige vanguard's "Salvage" now will replenish his ammo based on the size of the salvaged structure or vehicle ranging from small 25%, medium 50% and large 100% of his max ammo.
  • Increased basic pistol damage to 50 from 40
  • ZC9 damage increase to 210 from 165
  • Sidekick damage increase to 60 rom 40
  • Both faction's marksman package now has extremely high spread on hipfire.
  • Sigar Marksman increase damage to 185 from 165
  • AXR marksman increase damage to 140 from 120
  • Specialist Strike Team cost is reduced to 3600/1000/0 from 4200/1800/0
  • Reduced Laser Knight's splash radius to 1m from 3m
  • Reduced Laser Knight's splash damage to 150 from 300
  • Laser Knight turn speed is halved from regular knight.
  • Fixed issue Laser Knight splash now no longer go through walls.
  • Turn speed of all Iron guard classes has been returned. The turn degree is as follows: Knight(180) > Iron guard(120) > Rook(60) > Laser Knight(45)
  • Specialist Strike Team cost is reduced to 3600/1000/0 from 4200/1800/0
  • Specialist clip size increase to 35 from 15
  • Specialist Damage increase to 71 from 65
  • Specialist XM13 Silenced weapon decrease spread to 1.5 from 2.5 units.
  • Increased Sigma weapon look up angle clamp


UI/UX Improvements



  • Changed Secured MULE Unit Icon
  • Battlesuit calldown indicator will now be visible to allies
  • Changed Rejoin Button in Pre-Game Lobby to Join instead
  • Customization Pose Tab will show Full Body Camera
  • Enabled Full Body Camera for Customization Skin and Pack
  • Siege Vanguard salvage will now have a UI indicator showing the amount resources they have obtained from Salvage
  • Updated Hyperion passive ability name to Defensive Drone

  • Fixed an issue where Capture Point icons in Minimap cannot be left clicked
  • Fixed an issue when clicking on capture point icons on Minimap it will deselect your units
  • Fixed an issue where GSF Infantry General Weapon Crew does not start with 5 members
  • Fixed an issue that Power Reactor will lock on enemy resource point while enemy is capturing an nearby ally resource point
  • Fixed an issue with Hyperion Bombardment's target icon that will stay on screen even after death while using the ability

Eximius Season 2 - EU Invitational 2021

We are holding our First Invitational tournament of Season 2, "EU Invitational 2021", featuring 4 prominent streamers, forming teams and going head to head against one another.
