The splash of creativity begins on our Studio Bravarda Discord server, diving in from November 24th to December 4th in the #fanart-contest channel!Submissions are open now until December 4th! After which, we'll close the capy-curtains on submissions and let our community's heartbeat be the judge! Every Capy-friend will get to sprinkle some love with reactions on their favorite submissions from December 4th to December 11th to crown our winners! 🎨🌞

Capybara Facts Quiz!
We will be holding this quiz with the help of a bot, which will display the questions and provide a very limited time for you all to use reactions to pick your answers. When time runs out, the question is finalized and the correct answer is shown before the bot moves onto the next question. Be sure to join us on time and be ready for all the questions at 11 am CST on December 1st!
The quiz will be held in the #capy-quiz channel, make sure to double check to see if you have the right permissions and access ahead of time!
Top 3 winners will be given a KEY TO THE FULL GAME on release and granted the @Capy-Sage role in our server, which will be displayed up top for a whole month! You will be able to keep your role without the display afterwards as a badge of capy-knowledge!

After our splash at PAX East 2023, it became crystal clear that our capy-community truly wished for online multiplayer support in Extremely Powerful Capybaras. Diving deep into the waters of development, we've spent our year ensuring that our game isn't just for those lounging on the same lily pad, but for capy-friends across the globe. 🎮🌐
With countless hours and a lot of paddling, we’ve revamped the game to weave in this new feature. Training Grounds not only served as an introduction for you but was a true 'training ground' for us, as we embarked on our first-ever venture into online multiplayer. The recent adventures we have had in Training Grounds have pointed out that we still have more work we must do to fix the bends in our river for a truly capy experience for all our capy-friends. After some huddles and capy-meets with all the dev-baras, we've decided to let our game bask a bit longer in the development sun, moving our release to December 5th.
We know that this is a long wait for many of our capy-fans and we would like to assure you that we did not make this decision lightly. Your patience means the world to us. We're committed to refining and polishing our beloved game until it's just right. Stay with us for the grand capy-adventure.

Training Grounds is a free prologue to the full game. You can explore a revamped hub and take on the first arena and boss while mastering capy-tivating Capy-classes and abilities!
Training Grounds introduces a game-changing feature: Online Multiplayer, so you can enjoy the capy-chaos with your friends! 🌿🐾🎮
We have worked really hard for the past few months in order to make it happen, because this has been one of the most requested features since the game's reveal, and we're so hyped to finally bring it to you! That said, this is the first time we work with online multiplayer as dev-baras, so we need your feedback and bug reports to make Extremely Powerful Capybaras’ online experience the best it can be. We can't wait to hear what our capy-community thinks of it! 🌸🌿
With the online multiplayer feature being implemented, we had to make major changes to the code of the game, and due to this it will no longer be possible to carry over the previous demo's save files to Training Grounds. We’re sorry for this inconvenience, but we hope that you feel it is a worthy sacrifice for these new features! For Training Grounds, Ability Shop and the Capybara Recruiter will not be available, as we're still tweaking them for the online environment for the full game's launch. We have taken the previous demo offline as it no longer reflects what Extremely Powerful Capybaras will be like on launch! Please enjoy Training Grounds until then! 🎉🌿

Extremely Powerful Capybaras will be launched on Steam on August 30th for US: $5.99, UK: £4.99, Europe: 5,99€, Brazil: R$ 14,99, China: ¥ 22.00!! We cannot wait to finally deliver our beloved game to all capy-friends who have been waiting patiently! With the release of our full game, we will be taking Training Grounds offline as it will have served its purpose in assisting our tests for the new content we’re adding.
During the time until release, we hope that you enjoy Training Grounds to the fullest! Afterwards we have more features you can expect in the full release that will not be a part of our prologue! ⭐🎉

Patch Notes - Demo V0.9.56
FIXES
⚔️ Fixed an issue where your mouse cursor would be frozen on the screen after alt-tabbing from the game.
Bard and Assassin received a very slight Defense debuff to make up for their strengths in other Stats.
The drop rate for Capy-Coins when the player becomes Extremely Powerful was reduced so the amount of coins received per run wouldn't break the game's metaprogression.
Dodgy Soap's Ability Shop gains per Rank was buffed so it scales better for players in the late game.

Patch Notes - Demo V0.9.47
FIXES
⚔️ Fixed a bug that made players unable to level up if they had data from a previous game version. This was the result of an issue involving the game's saves not updating properly along with the demo to include the new content. This actually caused several different issues, because the game was unable to find the references for the updated content in the game.
<*> Removed two Abilities from the game for now - Flying Sucuris and Potato Battery. These Abilities are actually still in a work-in-progress state, and should have been removed from the current demo, but were left there by mistake. Sorry about that.

FIXES
⚔️ Fixed a bug where not talking to the Ability Shopkeeper after a run and starting another would cause you to not get the Capy-Coins you collected in the previous run. ⚔️ Fixed a bug where players could dash in the same frame where they died, resulting in their respawn position being wrong in multiplayer (which could cause camera issues and out-of-bounds problems). ⚔️ Fixed a bug that made the Boss' hitbox remain active after its death.
