FaceRig

A New FREE LIVE2D Avatar and FaceRig build 1705 - August 7 2018

Awesome folks, we present to you a Live2D avatar made by one of our artists!

From the deep, luscious forests of a mystical land comes Nithriel the Wood Elf.

Daugther of a community leader, she's always been restricted from venturing in the wild woods and mastering her native magic wielding talents. Since she ran away, she crafted her own magic pendant and now she's using her arcane powers to lift curses from affected woods creatures.

You can download this engimatic and powerful Wood Elf from our Steam Workshop page, today: https://s.facerig.com/31

Your suggestions asking for FaceRig to support the new Leap Motion Orion version have been heard, and today we've updated FaceRig accordingly, along with a few other small updates regarding the avatar importer too. You can find the full change log below:

  • Leap Motion DLC upgraded to the latest Leap 4.0.0 version (Orion).
  • Updated the 3d avatar importer to support special animations (special0x.dae files, where x is from 1 to 6) and other tweaks.

Don't forget to update FaceRig today!

Best regards,
The FaceRig team

Those proficient in Live2D will find that we’ve fixed the following issues, reported on our Steam forums. Here is the full change log:

      • Fixed physics issue encountered when using Cubism 3
      • Fixed issue with the naming translation for the special poses and arms
      • Added physics configuration to Cubism 3 exported avatars. FaceRig can configure physics parameters sent to the Live2D avatars (exported for Cubism 3) like gravity and wind using simple commands. These physics parameters are applied per avatar so you need to add the commands to the avatar’s configuration file (cc_the_avatar_name .cfg). More info in the Live2D_Facerig_Avatars_Documentation.pdf found here: \steamapps\common\FaceRig\Bin\Tools\Docs\
      • Cubism 3 avatars now support adding idle animation using the same command as for Cubism 2.1. See Live2D_Facerig_Avatars_Documentation.pdf for more info.

Last but not least, we also want to give a big shout-out to the following Steam users for providing us with invaluable feedback which was useful in releasing the new update: @Sue, @루아kr and @MenardProduction.

      Easter Holiday Vacation

      Awesome folks,

From all of us at Holotech Studios, we wish you a Happy Easter! ^.^

We will be on vacation starting tomorrow until the 16th of April. This means that
during this period our online presence, both on social media and on the support channels will be minimal.

Have fun and we'll see you guys a week and a day from now!

      Updated Community Texture Pack Release!

      Awesome folks,

Today we’re sharing with you the updated texture packs of our Custom Avatars skins and of some of our Props. Now you can customize and modify your favorite avatar and prop to your liking, change the colors, draw and give your own spin to it! But, once you change the custom skin, the “Custom” option of the avatar will no longer be available, in its place appearing your modified version instead.

Download the Texture Packs straight here https://s.facerig.com/28, or visit our Steam Forums post here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/274920/discussions/6/1696043263493825818/ to find the download link and a tutorial on how to use them.

FaceRig Update and Steam Lunar Sale

      Hi there, awesome folks!

Some of you have described to us a problem that you've encountered while LIVE-streaming. When the "Toggle Picture in Picture Mode" is pressed, you could start streaming yourself and not your avatar due to the fact that the button cycles between four PiP states. Since you guys, our fans and users are the most important, we've addressed this issue in a new update that has been rolled out yesterday!

A new button that force-hides the real webcam feed while broadcasting has been added as a supplementary layer security and you can find it in General Options > Preferences > General > Hide webcam feed while broadcasting. This toggle is ON by default, so now while Toggle Broadcast is ON your PiP window will cycle only between two states: "No Feed" and "Small Feed"(neither on which broadcast your real webcam feed), ensuring you won't stream yourself by mistake.

In other news, the The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is ON, and we've prepared for you some super cool discounts:

      • FaceRig 50 %
      • FaceRig Halloween Avatars 2014 80 %
      • FaceRig Halloween Avatars 2015 80 %
      • FaceRig Pro Upgrade 60 %
      • FaceRig Strong Paws 50 %
      • FaceRig Warriors 60 %
      • FaceRig Winter Holidays Avatars 2015 80 %

      FaceRig Update with fixes

      Hello awesome folks!

Some of you reported a few issues recently and we've managed to fix most of them.

Please find the change log below:

      • fixed an odd crash when loading avatars after one with default props, having the autosave function on.
      • fixed props placement issue when loading an avatar.
      • [Live2d] Shizuku yaw issue fixed.

      Best regards,
      The FaceRig team
