The goal of this patch was to just shake the game up a bit, lots of micro tweaks and adjustments for balance. We have an audience of a dozen or so people who play it every weekend on the discord community. So if you are interested in getting more involved, seek us out!

Character Adjustments



Abigail


+ Abigail turret max range reduction 9000 to 2500
+ Abigail's shotgun reduction by 1dmg per pellet

Gwen


+ Energy Drain on Gwen Speed Buff, 5 energy drain tick
+ Fire DoT on enemies reduced from 8+30 over 6 seconds) -> 8+18 over 6 seconds

Friday


+Healing Magnum Heal 50 -> 20
+Remove stomp "easter egg"
+Given stomp action (V key) deals 30 damage

Bingo


+ Melee damage reduction removed
+ Knockback from knife removed (Sort of a buff and nerf at the same time) Previously knocked people away from you slightly on hit, but also acted like a ministun

+ 1 -> 2 cost per shot (nerf)

Long Shot


+ Reworked to projectile weapon
+ Lobs a slug at a fast speed in an arc, dealing 60 damage on body shot (No headshots)


Random


+ Reduce mega weapon likelyhood on randomizer (Mega weapons now have a chance to occupy the last slot of every character at 10% chance)

Hi everyone, this is a quick patch that addresses two bugs
The Casino patch is still under development and wont see a release this patch.
I apologize for the extremely slow development, more than normal. All of my focus has gone into the new project.

I appreciate our small but passionate playerbase!


  • Several of Gwen's Alchemy buffs duration were bugged to end early. This has been fixed
  • Charlie's Flying Claw projectiles can now detonate TNT and other explosives.


NOTE: This patch might seem comically large at 300mb, but this includes a bunch of Casino & Ancient Ruins files (Future maps)
So you wont have to download this data again in the future! Apologies.

1.26.05 -Hotfix

Fixed an issue where bots on Dedicated servers would eventually memory leak the server

  • Available on all maps
  • 0 to 8 Bots option in server options

  • Bots randomly pick a character at the start of each round, and will continue as that character until next round

Long Shot:
+ Max Damage per pellet 7-> 8
+ Min damage per pellet 4-> 5

ALL CHARACTRERS:
Max scrap for all characters has been normalized to 200
Max Fuel for all character has been normalized to 200

Abigail:
+ Turret Health 45 -> 55
+ Turret Activation Time 1.5 to 0.2 Seconds

Dalton
- Starting Rifle Ammo: 10 -> 3
+ Max ammo is unchanged (10)

Hemlock
- Claws hitbox duration 0.4 -> 0.2 (no more backswing)
+ Hitbox radius 40 -> 50 units
+ Swing cooldown 0.8 -> 0.65 seconds

Blaise
- Fire resist 100% -> 0%
+ Fire DoT immunity
+ Barrel's flight time can be (intentionally) extended by shooting it, and is easier to do now
- Removed the 50/50 Explosive/Fire hybrid damage
+ Blaise barrel is now 100% fire damage
- Max damage is set to 80 damage (Previous max was infinite)
(Remember, fire tick afterward still does 8 damage 3 times (totalling 24 damage, making this a 1 hit KO on most characters provided they dont heal)
+ Barrel can now be aimed further UP (Before it was locked to 35 degrees upward) Chooses the highest angle between 35 degrees and your upward camera angle
+ Spiked Bat can now hit back ANY projectiles. (Chakram, Rocket Launcher, TNT, Sweeper, Arrows, Etc)
+ Hit back projectiles become yours
+ Barrel explosion leaves behind a soot cloud on the ground

Gwen

GWEN REWORK



+ Base Energy Regen 2 -> 10 per second
- Earth Buff, 30% to 20% damage reduction
+ Fire Buff, 10% damage buff to 15%
+ Fire DoT, 3 damage to 5 damage per second
- Fire DoT, 10 second duration to 6 second

• Lightning
+ Reworked to a new ability...
- Self buff version only regenerates 10 energy per second (Normally 40 for allies)
+ NEW: Becomes a burst release shot-gun blast of electricity "palpatine" cone, dealing 16 to 30 damage (Depending on charge time), Tripling if the target is Airborne (Distance off the ground, not just jumping)

• Fire (gwen, self only)
- Self damage taken debuff to offset its power
- 15% extra damage taken while active

• Earth (gwen, self only)
+ Undo part of the nerf 15% -> 30% reduction in damage taken
- Damage dealt by gwen is reduced by 30% while active

+ Movement speed Increased from 50% to 75% bonus

CHARLIE REWORK



Charlie:
- Damage Mitagation rework 80-20 to 50-50
- Meaning she takes 50% of all damage up front, and only delays 50% now instead of delaying 80%
+ Holding Flag penalty changed from 150% damage to 100% damage taken (Normal)
+ Max Health 150 -> 160

Staff Slam
- Energy Cost 50 -> 100
- Trace Duration 0.4 to 0.2 (Hitbox lifetime) Solving some lingering hitbox issues
+ Damage 55 -> 65

- Kick removed
+ Flying Claws (Throwing stars) added
Charge to rapid release 4 throwing stars dealing 1 to 3 damage each (Higher damage up close)
Dealing 10 times damage the lower the health of your target
Costs 50 Scrap to charge, letting her throw it 4 times before having to collect more scrap
Shooting the claws in mid-air causes charlie to be sent backward

Knock-Out Punch
- Cost changed from 100 to 120 energy
+ Damage 65 to 80

Chi-Launch
- Cost 20 -> 50
+ Cooldown 2 to 1.75
+ Damage 25 to 50

PVP BOTS ARE COMING!

Hi Everyone!

First off, i'd like to apologize for the sparse updates on the game. And for the struggle of retaining players. Friendly reminder we do weekly game sessions on saturdays. This is scheduled in our discord. (Link in forums)

Secondly, the next update (Which is scheduled for sometime in the next two months) will include the LONG awaited BOTS!!! Yes that's right, functional bots for 7 of the 9 characters are in the works! And are nearly feature complete.

These bots will be able to play DM, TDM, Conquest, Arena, Team Arena, and CTF with you!
You can have up to 8 bot players in online, so you can mix real players with bots if you want to :)

This update also includes...

  • 2 New community made maps!
  • 1 New Wave Defense map! (PVE)
  • Gwen Skin (more details in next announcement)

And LOADS of bug fixes and balance adjustments!
