Goals & Members of the Project
The EIT Food-funded project aims to provide knowledge regarding sustainable farming technology. Implementing Precision Farming in the global video game phenomenon Farming Simulator is one of EITs multiple steps to increase awareness.
Various other partners from the European Union are part of the project: The University of Hohenheim (Germany), the University of Reading (UK), Grupo AN (the largest cereal cooperative in Spain), and the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of Polish Academy of Sciences cooperate to promote the technology.
Patch 1.12 Now Available For Farming Simulator 22!

Patch 1.12 for Farming Simulator 22 is now available to download on PC and consoles. As the HORSCH AgroVation Pack is already available, there's a new goodie for all of you: the iconic HORSCH Farming Hero outfit!

Our new agricultural environment resembles the varied landscapes of the Central European countries. Built on rich soil, the verdant fields between ponds and rivers are perfect for putting down roots of crops and businesses.
More importantly, Zielonka is home to a muster of storks who nest in the village and are seen flying gracefully over the region.

As greenland care and forage production is a key activity for farmers in the warm-weather months, you can now enjoy 17 brand-new specialized vehicles and tools by seven renowned brands.
Three of them debut in the series: German mowing specialist Brielmaier and Austrian manufacturers REFORM and Reiter. KRONE, PÖTTINGER, Rigitrac, and Sepp Knüsel also provide new equipment to tackle vast grasslands or challenging green areas.

With the REFORM MOUNTY 110V, may just fondly be called ‘Mounty’, and the electric Rigitrac SKH 60 with its slope-compensating cabin, two specialized tractors enter the fleet of vehicles.

New Multiplayer Modes Now Available on PC & Consoles!
Ready for some field action? Our new competitive multiplayer modes are now available in Farming Simulator 22. Download patch 1.10, and you'll find both the Bale Stacking Mode and the Arena Mode in the main menu under "esports" - check it out!
Stacking Bales for the Highscore
What started out as a joyful highlight on international gaming events a few years ago, is now playable at home with up to six players: The Bale Stacking Mode requires you to carefully (and more important: quickly) stack square bales onto a trailer.
The goal: beat your own or your friend's highscore while a countdown applies some pressure! It's always good to train your skills for operating a front loader attached to your tractor anyway - even for your day-to-day farming business (hint: might be a helpful skill for the upcoming Hay & Forage Pack).
Team-Based Arena Mode Requires Strategy
Known from the FSL, the Arena Mode is now open to everyone. You don't need to register or compete in the league (but you can). Two teams, consisting of up to three players each, compete for the highscore by harvesting wheat, pressing bales and delivering them to their barn.
Additional layers of tactical gameplay are ensured through a pick & ban phase, randomized power-ups and multiple strategic approaches possible. There’s also a training mode to make it easy for everyone to check it out - you can even try it on your own if you're not ready for others.
