To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, we have added a side storyline for the Lunar New Year, where Peppermint visits Tian Ting.
Peppermint will have to survive a menagerie of animals in Tian Ting in order to restore the natural zodiac cycle.
The Lunar Near Year story is available in our campaign / story-mode, and also in the classic mode (without a story). Try it out today and let us know what you think!
Changes:
Tian Ting (Lunar New Year world) is now available in both the campaign mode as well as classic mode
Haunted Hinterlands (Halloween world) is no longer available. It'll return again near Halloween!
Costumes are no longer available for players and Twitch viewer minions
Additional graphics settings have been added: V-Sync and maximum frame rates
Player character silhouettes are now more easily seen
Adjusted how Npcs are chosen for interaction in the farm based on distance and angle
Costs of player buffs (meta progression using coins) are now shown in a different color
Bug fixes:
Npc names and quest markers now draw over other objects and don't get blocked by trees etc
Adjusted the spawn position of Vanilla's kunais so they don't overlap with her face
Reduced the volume of the level-up sound

We've been hard at work adding more story and content to the full version the game, and while that is in progress, we're preparing a limited-time event for Lunar New Year for our game as well.
This Lunar New Year event will be available in our demo, so you can give it a shot once it's ready! Stay tuned!

Haunted Hinterlands event
Halloween may be over, but the Haunted Hinterlands side story / world will remain in Feisty Fauna's demo, till the end of November!
If you haven't had a chance to meet Hazelnut and Sesame in Haunted Hinterlands, there's still time! You can meet them through the campaign, or in classic mode!

Progress in the campaign is now automatically saved, and you can continue your journey later. Upon death during the campaign, you'll now return to the farm (loading your last save) instead of returning to the main menu.
You can also start a new campaign game whenever you like, if you wish to replay the campaign storyline.

Dying in the campaign now returns the player to the farm and loads their last saved game

We have added status indicators, so you can tell when you have buffs/debuffs active! In particular, invulnerability, speed boost, and being on fire now show up!
Changes:
Added status indicators for buffs/debuffs, with their durations shown in color
Increased the max speed of loot flying towards the player
Chats that are emote-only now automatically move forward to the next chat, unless a level starts immediately afterwards

Fixed a bug where Pomegranate (and others) would run in place while charging an attack

We have reduced the difficulty setting for Cozy mode, so that players who choose that difficulty can have a relaxing playthrough of the story. Remember, our difficulty settings are fully customizable, so you can change the slider values to find the right fit for you!
