This update brings better looking explosives, new icons and some minor fixes to the game.
We have also improved the modding by giving you the ability to make your own bombs and conveyor belts in the mod editor. This uses new tech, allowing you to edit parameters on the built-in addons.
This will let us do cool things in the future. Vehicles in particular require this for modding. We hope to bring vehicles to the game in the next update, so stay tuned!

Early Access!
We've just launched Ficterra into Early Access!
Check out some of the new features we've added!
The code editor has been enhanced, letting you do more with your mods.
In addition we've added the new 'Set Data' action. This lets you mod the base game, as well as other mods!
We have a new create game workflow, that makes it easier to play the type of game you want.
'Puzzle Ship' a single player scenario (called Fictions in Ficterra) has also been added. Venture through an abandoned ship scouring caches for the 6 power crystals. You'll need to find colourful key cards to get through special doors to progress through the ship.
This single player adventure was crafted with the modding tools that come with Ficterra. Check out our modding guides on steam starting with this one to make your own Fiction!
More Ficterra Beta Updates!
We've made a bunch of updates in the Beta since we last posted on Steam and we wanted to show you some of the new things we've added!
We spiced up the world by adding in 8 new locations that spawn throughout various biomes. These include a lookout tower, an abandoned mine shaft and a hill pyramid. We also added several new animals to the game, including an Ibex which roams cold mountain climates.
The player experience has been improved to make the game better to play. You can now change from being left handed to right handed if you want. This can be switched in the gameplay settings menu at any time. New icons have been added to replace some older looking icons and make the game look better. In developer mode we added a visual tool for giving items. Pressing 'G' will pop up a dialog where you can choose the item you want. Picking a tool or a weapon will give you 1 while choosing a cube will give you 50.
The way images work in game has been changed. Objects like Pictures, Flags and Door Mats allow you to choose an image to show. We removed the old text based system and implemented dialog that shows all the images in the game. This lets you easily pick a image. If you want a custom image, you can use the modding tools to add your images to the game.
You can now throw or launch objects you are holding. Right Click and let go to throw an object. If you hold right click and let go you will launch the object. The longer you hold, the farther the object will go. Lastly, you can now place sideways or upside down ramps. This lets you make nicer looking buildings with more 45 degree angles.

This along with the new Fire Potion are two rare items scarcely found in hidden treasure chests. These are also two of items that will be named by backers of our Indiegogo campaign.
More support for those wanting to get creative has been added. You can now paint gradients, rotate areas, and use some new tools in the code editor to create your worlds better.
The crafting interface has been improved making it easier to read and use. We added special tooltips for equipment items showing their rarity and stats. Discord rich presence has been integrated so you can see if your friends are playing Ficterra on Discord.
