Ey you, listen up, I gots an opperchoonity for ya. This is gonna be big, we're talkin' as big as my beautiful bald head, ya get me?
We're gonna let you get your hands on a few heists, test the waters a little. Get your hands dirty before the main event. But first you gotta sign up. If you ain't in it, you can’t be in it. Or whatever that sayin’ is.
The Filthy Animals multiplayer playtest is launching in January 2023 and you can secure your exclusive spot by signing up below. Simply enter your details before the test starts and you'll be first in line to take part in some chaos-filled animal-heist fun.

DEV UPDATE: SPECIAL MOVES
Listen up kiddo, I got some advice for yous.
If you’re gonna be working for me, you need to step it up and be on the tops of your game. I aint gots time for sleepers or slackers. It’s all about getting daddy those big bucks.
Each of youses will have a special move at your disposal. All useful in their own right. Some can help you through levels, whilst some cause straight up chaos and destruction.
One thing for sure, they’re all perfect to give those bad guys (or your buddies) a little 2-1-2 right in the kisser. Awwwyeah.
HOW TO ACTIVATE
After eating enough tacos your ability meter will charge up. Pretty OP when yous know how.
Step 1: PICK UP MEXICAN FOOD (lean with the right analogue stick)
Step 2: EAT MEXICAN FOOD (use LT or RT while holding food)
SPECIAL MOVE SHOWCASE
Take a look at the unique animals and abilities on offer. This is only the start. We would love to work with the community and add more after launch. Pig? Dog? Cat? Hippo? Sheep? T-Rex? Who knows....
CROCODILE: TAIL SPIN
Get dizzy and feel your head spinnin’ with Croc’s special. It spins, and spins, and spins.... and spins...
MOOSE: CHARGE
Charge into anythin’ with Moose’s special move. Guaranteed destruction.
MONKEY: BANANA TRAPS
Throw down a mini monkey that throws out electrified banana skin traps.
CHICKEN: EGG BOMB
What came first, the Chicken or the Egg Bomb? Explode and cause damage to anything within reach.
With this knowledge comes great power... so ya helping or screwing over your teammates? Keep this info in that filthy head hole of yours, because I’ll be callin’ you up for help in the next coupla months…

DEV UPDATE: LEVELS OVERVIEW
We thought it would be cool to explain a bit more about how levels work inside Filthy Animals.
Each level has been created to be thematically different and introduce a brand new set of fun quirky puzzles, collectables, objectives and challenges. We have sprinkled an element of randomness into the mix too. Some of the stuff you need to find will randomly spawn each time.
We’ve made it so every level feels different, and can be approached in different ways depending on your style. There are 3 different stages within each level.
Internally we call these stages ‘Set Up’, ‘Heist’ and ‘Escape’ to make things easier to understand.
Set Up Phase
Here you’ll be scouting out the area and deciding on your best approach. We recommend looking for a loot bag, finding any secrets, and eating food to charge up your special abilities. The big brains of the group might also want to look for power ups. The muscles of the group might want to charge ahead and smash everything. Both ways can work.
Heist Phase
This is where you’ll get Tony’s big bucks. You’ll need to work together and find a way to grab as much of the loot as possible. Stay alert. There are a wide range of traps, puzzles, guards, NPCs that you’ll have to work around.
Escape Phase
Now you’ve filled up on loot. It’s time to get the heck out of there ASAP. Tony is your trusty getaway guy. You’ll be against the clock and need to make your way to him in a series of environmental challenges or straight up brawls and fights!
We wanted to pace things in a way that felt fun for all types of play. Whether you’re a speedrunning extraordinaire or a methodical completionist. There is fun for everyone!
While there is nothing more fun than smashing your buddy over the head with a traffic cone, we still wanted the levels to be enjoyable in single player too.
Every level is created from the ground up and made to adapt depending on the number of players in your team. Check out this example of a puzzle within The Temple.
Temple Example 1: Temple heist puzzle in four player co-op, players will need to work together using the pressure pads to be able to push the pillars. Only with all pads weighed down simultaneously will the doors open.
Temple Example 2: The same Temple heist puzzle in single player. Fewer obstacles mean a player will be able to complete the puzzle by themselves.

Here’s something the last buncha idiots didn’t realize, If one of yous goes down, your other teammates can help you back on your feet before you bleed out. If you don’t get them up in time, just flush ‘em down the toilet and I’ll fix them up in the lab.
One more thing... DO PLAY WITH A CONTROLLER. You wouldn't eat a taco with a mouse and keyboard would ya? Things are a lotta more easier with a controller, although Keyboard is supported it is not fully optimised. Don't say I didn't warn yous.

PLAYABLE BANK HEIST LEVEL
Buckle up buttercup. This is a wild heist we gots for yous. From start to finish you’ll be planning a heist, breaking into a vault and making a sweet sweet getaway with the money. Yours truly is the getaway driver. So don’t keep me waiting!
POWER UPS & ABILITIES
Play as 4 different Filthy Animals, each with their own unique abilities and power ups. More unlockable characters are coming soon.
1 - 4 PLAYER ONLINE CO OP
Play with up to 4 buddies locally or online using Steam Remote Play. More friends. More fun. More money for me.
WEAPONS & TOOLS
Be smart! If you come across an obstacle, use that grey matter between ya thick skulls to find the right tool for the job. But for the guards, a good old shotgun might be the answer!
ABILITIES & POWER UPS
You never know what you’ll find laying around that can help. Try roughing up some vending machines - those sodas pack a punch! They can get ya back on your feet pronto. You all got your own mutant animal powers too - so eat tacos and use your power!
LOOT-O-MATIC
Use cash to pick up some useful items or some firepower from the Loot-O-Matic for your next job. This stuff gets added to chests around the levels. Plan it carefully, or just pick what looks cool, what do I care?!

Developer Update #1
Hey everyone!
We know things have been a bit quiet lately, but work on Filthy Animals has been carrying on behind the scenes. We are getting closer to launching the game!
Today we have some exciting news to share with everyone - we have a new publisher to help us make Filthy Animals a reality. You might have seen or heard in the press that Green Man Gaming Publishing will be working with us at Pewter Games Studios and LoPoly.
Nothing is going to change in terms of development and plans for the game, it just means we’ll have the funding and support to bring Filthy Animals to a wider market and on as many platforms as possible! The team really understands the game and knows the direction we want to take it.
We are approaching the final stretch of development now, and we can’t wait to bring everyone along for the ride and get you involved. As a small indie developer, it’s super important for us to hear what you all think!
We are also excited to share a brand new gameplay video too! Take a look at our new trailer, showing off some of the The Bank level.
Lastly, we are also bringing the Discord back to life, with a helping hand from our very own mastermind himself, Tony! He’ll be helping us out by managing the Discord, hanging out in the chats and giving you important updates while we focus on developing the game. Be nice!
