It's time for a new update on the development of the game and today we have some great news to share - especially if you're fan of VR experience. Yes, the game will support VR and we want to have it ready for the launch of the game. But that's not all. We are also working on the implementation of motion - that means that the game will support DOF simulators (motion platforms), so you will get the most realistic experience there is! There are no many arcade games supporting such platforms, so we believe this should be something refreshing and extremely fun - as you can see below ːsteamhappyː.
Speaking of fun. Next time we will show you another circuit that will be featured in the game - we call it Aquarium (it's a working title, but it might stay) and it will take you underwater. Here are three GIFs to give you a small taste and just imagine how it will look like in virtual reality :).

Last time we talked about 2 circuits that will be featured in FLASHOUT 3 and today we would like to introduce you to the "Volcano" track. Why just one circuit this time, not two? Well, the answer is pretty simple - we wanted to show you a full gameplay video, not just animated GIFs. So while, as you know, the game is still in "work in progress" state and some things may change (we might add a thing or two), we wanted to show you where we are heading and what to expect from the game. Of course you can check out the demo, but as we have written last week, we want each track to be pretty special and unique.
The "Volcano" circuit takes you to the region of Hawaii, where you will find yourself racing... inside a volcano during its erruption. But it might be best if you just check out the gameplay video we have recorded:
Very soon we will have further announcements - don't want to spoil the surprise, but VR fans should be happy ;). Also, because 2022 marks the 10 years anniversary of FLASHOUT 3D (the first game in the series), we are working on something special. We didn't want to leave you without some tasty FLASHOUT 3 news before the weekend begins...
So as promised, we want to shed some light on the upcoming circuits that you will find in FLASHOUT 3 :). When designing circuits our main goal was to make sure that each track gives you a totally different experience - both visually and gameplaywise. And of course, each circuit will feature a different music tune. While we plan to publish a few nice videos from the content we have prepeared, here is a small sneak peek of what's coming!
NEON PARADISE
Actually Neon Paradise is the very first circuit that made it into the game. It wasn't the first track we had done - there were many of them, but we were not fully happy with the results and the experience they offered. We did a lot of experimentation and it was a "try & error" work for the most part - at least in the beginning of development. We needed to find out what works best with our physics engine and what kind of bends, curves, spins, angles, track sizes, etc. give the best gameplay experience.
Neon Paradise is quite unique in the whole game, because it's a track that gives you the feeling of old classic arcade games, like Out Run or Chase HQ (if you still remember these awesome titles). It's also a hardcore circuit with tight curves and little time for reaction, so it requires some real skill to master :).
DARK MOON
Dark Moon is a circuit that takes you into space, but not that far away from Earth. You will land on the Moon, where you will participate in an explosive and awesome race, that pays tribute to our upcoming game... Dark Moon. Btw - If you like strategy games don't hesitate to add this one to your Steam wishlist, as we feel it's going to be pretty great ;).
This track is a quick one, but also one that gives you many opportunities to attack your opponents. And the game will offer you a real arsenal of weapons. What we have shown you in the demo version was just a peak of the iceberg. There's much more coming in the final game, so you will have the chance to work out your fighting strategy and to find out what works best for you.
