Fixed Camera Overhaul Patch V1.08:

Bugfixes:


  • A camera switch bug in the area outside the Sullivan Mansion where the character would instantly turn around on camera change (input would invert).
  • A light near the mounted ram puzzle, which would sometimes be disabled depending on the graphics API.
  • An issue with running speed being reduced if turning while in over-the-shoulder camera views.
  • An issue where the Carrion Scavengers would stop moving after an attack.
  • Tank controls have been adjusted. The turning radius sensitivity was increased.
  • Fixed a typo in the struggle tutorial note.
  • An issue with objects remaining / turning invisible on some camera shifts.
  • Keys no longer need to be held in the left hand when unlocking doors. As long as the key is in the player's Item Belt, the door will unlock.



A fixed camera overhaul. Fixed cameras now slightly pan towards the player. This removes blind-spots that would occasionally occur between camera transitions.

Added in lights that flicker around the estate.

Added a note explaining how to examine items held in the left hand (was mentioned with the Item Belt tutorial note, but we have noticed players not remembering).

Added an option to disable Bloom, like Ray Tracing this option only appears in Graphic Settings on the Main Menu.

Bugfixes:


  • The Raptured tentacles now properly play their grab animation.
  • Tutorial and story notes now shut off the chest flashlight. (For readability. Can still be toggled if desired.)
  • Fractal Locust were just passing through the ground upon death, they now properly explode.
  • Camera controls were updated on the Hecate and the Sumerian statues.
  • Adjusted some camera activation radius.
  • An issue with the character not detecting obstacles beneath a certain height (prevents the player from being able to "walk-through" some colliders).
  • Several costumes missing collision on the character's legs/feet.


Added in new enemy type Carrion Scavengers.
New random enemy jump-scare placements.

Bugfixes:


  • Save game auto-updater would repeat steps.
  • A few enemies weren't targeting Alexis when being followed.
  • Some sound balancing.
  • Adjusted some camera control methods.


Added in the Fractal Locust enemy. These swarming enemies are more of a nuisance, but large numbers can pose an actual threat.

Health Wrist-Band & Bugfix Patch V1.04h:


  • Fixed Hecate puzzle to properly reflect which puzzle pieces are in its hand.
  • Pentacle key would be discarded even though there was still a locked Pentacle door. (If discarded) The Pentacle Key will be re-added into the character's inventory, or their hand if the item belt is full (if an item is already being held, it will be dropped).
  • Adjusted some item orientation on the item belt.
  • Adjusted some puzzle pieces scale when held in hand / on belt, and when in the scene.
  • Fixed some door linkage issues (would lead to the wrong room, wasn't game breaking, but was time consuming).
  • Nerfed the Stigmatized and the Raptured enemies base attack damage (should be more reasonable, shouldn't cause instant death when surrounded).
  • Fixed the second praying statue puzzle completion / removal movie scene to properly show the statues move (was outside the active room, resulting in a black screen before).
  • A sequence break in the movie scene after picking up the M4A1.
  • A M4A1 reloading issue that would spawn a sea of clips, instead of reloading.
  • Fixed an issue where the laser sight aligner wouldn't be set if loaded a file with the M4A1 equipped.
  • An issue where a camera's control method would carry over after the camera was no longer active. Now when no fixed camera angles are active, and the character is standing still, the input system will force control back to scene neutral.
  • When activating weapon selection, if a 2x4 stud was equipped, the character would freeze in an odd position and not update the camera position.
  • Pyramid puzzle completion wouldn't move the camera to the correct position during the star door unlocking movie scene.
  • An issue with the Viggo boss fight, where after the intro movie scene the character wasn't updating to the proper animation set (prior players had to swap weapons to fix it).
  • A duplicate Fleshgait issue during the draw bridge lowering scene.
  • Draw bridge lowering angle fixed, no longer goes through the ground.
  • Campaign completion text now shows (screen fader on the camera wasn't being removed).


Added a wrist band to the character's left arm. The wrist band will glow Green, Yellow, or Red. The color reflects the character's current health and condition. High or perfect health glows green, mid-high to mid-low glows yellow, low health glows red. When health is very low, the red light will blink.

Raytracing Update

Patch V1.04:

Bugfixes :

  • Fixed a state lock-up with Alexis when given Algae.
  • Fixed a duplicate Alexis glitch when game is continued from the game over screen.
  • Removed an issue where Alexis wasn't properly dismissed in the scene manager when dropping her off.
  • Fixed a locked door linkage, where one side of a boarded door was not linked with the other sides number.
  • Doors that are blocked by a statue are now locked / unlocked with the movement of the statue. Fixes an issue with the character getting stuck going through a blocked door.
  • Adjusted character grab alignment during first boss fight.
  • Dynamic camera offset for boss grabs.
  • Music wasn't looping during first boss fight.
  • Fixed an issue where the character wasn't updating animation during first boss intro movie scene.
  • Key is now automatically picked up at the end of the first boss fight (no longer need to search around for it).
  • Item held in left hand wasn't saving.
  • Item held in left hand would occasionally disable on room entry.
  • Increased opening scene event trigger to have a large trigger radius, and trigger further away from the cattle gate.
  • Character height would be above or below floor level when entering certain rooms from rooms with multiple floors in the scene.


Added raytracing (experimental, hasn't been properly optimized).
Added vertical and horizontal aiming sensitivity settings in the options menu.
Added up / down arrows to cycle pages on the load game selection menu.

Costumes & Bugfixes

Patch V1.03:

Bugfixes:


  • Floor 2 Foyer - Pentacle door linking glitch fixed.
  • Camera misalignment when disabling third-person perspective in specific areas.
  • Sound effect playing upon new room entry, while carrying a 2x4.
  • Fixed a bug with the continue system not working, if recently used precision aiming.
  • Added multi-controller support (any controller plugged in can be used without having to remove another).
  • Keyboard tank-control toggle no longer disables 3D movement on a controller.
  • Removed an issue where the keyboard input wasn't affecting movement while aiming.
  • An issue with some puzzles not recognizing completion.
  • Left arm not reaching out to grab items, when the character is in a wounded state.
  • Refresh-rate setting wasn't updating the frame-rate to reflect.


New unlockable costumes, which are earned for completion of a campaign, have been added. We have adjusted the costumes to now be equipable in-game instead of a selection menu. This room becomes accessible after beating Campaign A for the first time.

  • Fixed an issue where the first Stigmatized encountered would trigger sound effects early.
  • Fixed the save file selection menu to display files in order by last date edited.
  • Fixed an issue where some game files would load incorrect file data.

  • Fixed a glitch where players could sometimes run past an event trigger in the second outside area.
