I wanted to let you all know that I was in progress of a massive bug fixes and improvement update, however over the last week, I ran into a problem and my save file corrupted. My backup of the project, was affected as well, I ended up loosing all of that progress and I can't revert it back to how it was.
I am greatly sorry about this, I was very excited to drop that update, and I am still passionate about this project and I still strive to give you all the best experience I can. Though, I may never be able to give that to you with this current dilemma.
While the games current state may be buggy for some, I feel it is in the best position at the moment. In doing so, I decided to put this game on a massive sale for you! I hope you all can still enjoy it For What It Is!
I wish you all the best!

Update 3.3 Performance Improvements
Hey all,
I have worked on some tweaks that could potentially help provide some of you with some more performance.
Added: Vulkan Support Changed: Apartment level. Changed: Shadow Quality, Distance, and Culling Changed: Sky in some areas. Moved: 'Return to Main Menu' option in pause menu. Reduced: Actor count in some areas.
Let me know if this has helped you, I look forward to hearing from you.
Best

Update 3.2
I was made aware that the camera shake feature has been causing some players motion sickness.
The way it was coded in, was quite inefficient. Potentially causing some performance issues. While I figure out a better way to possibly implement it. I have decided to remove the feature fully (Perhaps forever)
Removed: Camera Shake from character movement.

For What Will Come - Official Soundtrack
Hey All,
Today I am releasing the Official Soundtrack for, For What Will Come!
I have had a lot of feedback about how they loved the music in the game, and I felt like it needed to be an option for the game.
Maybe you liked the soundtrack and want to listen to it without the need of being in-game or perhaps you just want to further your support to me as a developer. Whatever it might be, you can now do so!
Thank you for all the valuable feedback and suggestions.

Update 3.1 Small Bugfixes
Fixed: Issue causing players to be able to get outside of the playable area in the first area. Fixed: Player not being able to move after reading the letter in the parents' bedroom.
Regarding, some people saying there save games got deleted, while I am sorry this has happened, but to clarify how this works:
Yes, Saving the game does work as intended. As this game uses level streaming, during different areas, the loading screen is to there to hide the transition. Upon each level transition where the player saved last would override the player's location in the new level causing the game to break. To combat this the save gets deleted every level transition in order to correctly spawn the character.
While this might be annoying to some, if you loaded a new area (seen the loading screen) you would need to save again before getting off.
Thank you for all the valuable feedback and suggestions.

Update 3: UI & QOL Improvements
Hi all,
While this update is not as big as Update 2, I have done way more work/coding in this one. This updates focus was to improving the UI Experience. Along with other smaller Quality of life changes.
What's New?
Added: A New progression system to the apartment level.
While this adds a little touch to the story, it will also slowly ease the player into the game. Players will now need to collect the items specified on the note in the Apartment level.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added: DLSS Support - Deep Learning Super Sampling
This feature should help boost performance by using AI to output higher resolution frames from a lower resolution input. DLSS samples multiple lower resolution images and uses motion data and feedback from prior frames to reconstruct native quality images.
This feature is still Experimental and you may or may not see a performance increase. Feedback is much appreciated.
If you have a RTX 20-series and above you can use this feature.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added: Created a new atmospheric sky for the First Town Visit
The sky box now, not only looks more realistic it now spreads light more dynamically. Generally this made the landscape a little bit more bright. Also made the Sky Phenomenon look more like it should be in respects to the story.
Added: More foliage to different areas of the game Added: More tutorial Popups in a different style than previous ones Added: Many More smaller things
Changed: Wording/Added more to some notes for story Changed: Abby's Backpack mesh at the start Changed: Apartment level scenery Changed: Complete Overhaul on the Note/Objective UI system Changed: Added Construction to the front of the house, in the real world. Changed: Lighting on some levels to make transition make more sense Changed: Game will now launch with all settings on max, with exception of resolution.
Fixed: Grandma's Clock in apartment level it was missing one hand Fixed: Note saying highschool when it meant to be University Fixed: Floating Foliage in some areas Fixed: Issue causing textures to not load on specific rocks Fixed: Footsteps would still play when looking at the new note system Fixed: Letter not showing correct information Fixed: Issue causing notes to open and not close -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is all for this update!
