New Mac & Linux versions 0.06

Hey everyone

We're happy to report that the Mac and Linux builds are now up and ready, you should now be able to play cross-platform again.
Please refer to the previous patch announcement for the changelog.

Don't hesitate to report any issues you find to us :)

Tournament kick-off!

Hello again everyone

We've uploaded the newest patch which should fix the issues we have with the streaming, now, after you've filled in your stream settings in the game, you should be able to upload to the leaderboards!
Mac and Linux will follow shortly.

FORCED Survival Tournament started

And so we kick off the tournament weekend, go, fight, and die (eventually), submit your scores and win some gear!
We'll be livestreaming from our office here;
http://www.twitch.tv/betadwarf
with various activities.
Visit us, have a talk and play a game with us :)

Tournament build issues

Just as we're about to kick off the tournament we've discovered some issues with the Twitch integration.
There's a problem with the highscore validation for some users, in short not enabling them to upload their times.
We're currently in the process of fixing it and the patch should be up very shortly!

As soon as that's ready we'll kick off the tournament officially and you can all enjoy the action.

Of course you can still play Survival and practice for later when competition will be truly fierce, and if you find any issues don't hesitate to tell us.

A final note for those participating in the tournament, the stream settings in your game will be cleared when we patch, so you'll need to fill it out again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

We'll be in touch,
Christoffer

Pre-Release Tournament 11-13 October!

Tournament video:
http://youtu.be/foX4NJQQ3Xc
Hi! Read a long and your coming weekend will be equal to dancing in the middle of leprechauns smiling to you all day long! And please do read all the rules for the cool tournament so you don’t miss the end of the rainbow!

Omg omg omg, what is is this, i'm feeling slightly interested!

Before the release of Forced the 24th of October. We want to celebrate with a big tournament in our new awesome survival arena. There will be tons of prizes, youtubers and livestreaming from everywhere. All you have to do is participate for free and survive as long as you can!

Interesting, when does it start and end?

The tournament occurs in the weekend 11-13 October.
Tournament starts 9.00 am PST Friday

Singleplayer winner is found saturday 6.00pm PST
Three player winners are found saturday 10.00pm PST
Two player winners are found sunday 5.00pm PST
Four player winners are found sunday 9.00pm PST
(Note specific times might be changed a bit, please check just before the weekend)

Perfect! I don't have any plans that weekend, how do I participate?

It’s simple! just follow these interesting and awesome steps:

  • Find some friends or play alone, you can play 1, 2, 3 or 4 players.
  • Download the demo or get the early access version of FORCED HERE
  • Start the game and complete at least one trial in the campaign, then you gain access to the survival arena (it’s a good idea to complete both the trials in the demo, as they will have valuable hints to get further in the survival arena).
  • Then create a new game in survival arena mode and get the best possible survival time.
Once you start to get the hang of it, you should begin streaming, as you can only claim a prize if your survival time is documented with a twitch video.
  • Then once you’ve got your stream going, simply get the best survival time and claim the biggest honor in history :)
  • Note: If you use mac or linux, you must start a twitch outside FORCED, see these solutions XSplit or Open Broadcaster Software - and in case you need more help, check thischeck this.
  • Simple right? :)

Most of you have been experiencing the "can't log in" issue. We believe we have found a way around this and have implemented our little fix. However, we only have one setup to test on so we are not entirely sure this fixes it for everyone..
So please let us know if it is working for you guys? Especially if it is not working we would love to know! :)

We are still working on a more stabile fix for the future! :)
