The eighth content update for Fore Score is out now!

Features

Performance Mode

  • Performance mode can be enabled from the display settings, increase frame rates while disabling some post processing effects
Updated levels!

  • Additional visual effects have been added to many levels
  • A crowd has been added to the stadium level, and will match the chosen ball colors
Obstacle Updates

  • Animations when choosing obstacles, balls, and golfers
  • Hit FX added to some
  • Increased sizes of the riser block, sliding platform, and track saw
  • Triple pins can overlap with other obstacles

Tweaks/Bug Fixes



  • Added d-pad control to the pause menu
  • Fixed the grid fading issue
  • Better alignment of the placement cursor with obstacles

Minor fix - v1.7.1

This minor update fixes an unintended bug where music tracks were not playing based on the level choice

Fore Score v1.7 - Out Now

The seventh content update for Fore Score is out now! With it comes a complete overhaul of all of the levels in the game!

Features

New levels!

  • Just about all of the levels have been reworked or changed completely
  • Layouts are more open and dynamic, instead of long corridors, allowing more flexibility with how obstacles are placed and configured
New obstacles

  • Bigger spinner on large levels
  • Increase size of the car
  • Increase size of the booster
  • Triple pin

Tweaks/Bug Fixes



  • Right bumper on the controller now also launches the ball
  • Reduced seam collisions in levels to prevent unintended bouncing
  • Teleporter obstacle will now disable for a short time after use, preventing repeated teleporting

Patch notes for v1.6.2

This minor update fixes a few bugs
- 'Fewest strokes' bonus will now apply properly if enabled
- Collecting a coin will no longer interfere with bomb generation
Also adds a new player accolade, and tweaked visuals of the main menu

The sixth content update for Fore Score is out now! Not a whole lot here, but with this update comes a reworked level, visual tweaks, and a few obstacles

  • Avoid traffic and navigate to the hole in the reworked city course
Camera shake

  • Subtle camera shake on balls lost, toggleable in settings

  • Pulse tower - bounces back players on an interval

The fifth content update for Fore Score is out now! With this update comes new levels, tweaks, and a few obstacles

Features

2 New Levels

  • Set on a night rooftop, these two new levels will have players twisting and trying to hit shortcuts as they make their way to the finish!
Handicap Bonus

  • Configure a bonus for when a player falls behind and finishes a round
Frame Limit

  • Set a display frame limit from the Display Options
New obstacles

  • Catapult - launches players, then flips direction
  • Curved fences
  • Castle block

Fore Score v1.4 - Performance Improvements - Out Now!

The fourth content update for Fore Score is out now! With this update comes some additional scoring customization and performance improvements.

Features

Score Configuration

  • Instead of a 'fewest strokes' bonus, there is now a bonus for hitting par and under par!
  • As always, these values can be tweaked in the settings
  • If you liked the 'fewest strokes' bonus, you can add it back in the settings as well
Max Rounds

  • Limit the max number of rounds with an optional setting
  • With this enabled, the game will end either at the max round setting or the max score, whichever happens first
New obstacles

  • Pinball corner replaces the standard corner block

Tweaks



  • Performance improvements across the board
  • Visual tweaks
  • Reduced total file size
  • Available obstacle choices are tweaked (4 for 2/3 players, 6 for 4 players)

The third content update for Fore Score is out now! With this update comes some additional gameplay customization and a handful of fun new obstacles.

Checkpoints

  • Passing through the checkpoint obstacle will change your spawn point for the rest of that round, instead of getting sent back to the beginning of the hole
Timer Configuration

  • Need more time? A new settings page has been added to configure the in-game timer for each level type.

  • Directional input improved to reduce 'snapping' away from the intended direction

Fore Score v1.2 Update - Out Now!

The second content update for Fore Score is out now! With this update comes some additional gameplay customization and a handful of fun new obstacles.

Features



  • New control format - Directional Control

    • If you prefer to directly aim with the controller sticks, this will be enabled by default on the right stick, with the left stick unchanged for turning your shot
    • There's an option to swap the sticks if you would prefer direct aim on the left stick
    • You can also disable it entirely if you feel like it adds too much of a disadvantage for keyboard players

  • Too chaotic on the hole? Added an option to disable ball to ball collisions
