Room for more strategies along with new turning physics
New Features:
- Track Temperature: The current weather affects the track temperature. Higher track temperature gives the vehicle a speed boost but also degrades the tires much faster. This creates room for more strategies. Eg: A one stop strategy could be possible when the weather is cloudy (low track temp) but it wont be possible if the weather is sunny.
- New Turning physics: The vehicle can take much sharper turns now. But the sharper you turn, the more speed you lose. This puts more emphasis on the racing line and makes the game more skill based, while still keeping it beginner friendly.
Changes:
- Engine mode: The consumption speed of the engine battery has been increased so that the user cannot just push for the entire lap but instead has to push strategically. The refill speed has also been doubled to allow the user to push several times a lap.
Bug Fixes:
- Series 2 was only loading the Bahrain track
Update 0.2.1: Improved Matchmaking System and more AI Vehicles
New Features: - Matchmaking system now displays the race track that you'll be racing on, along with competition type, total laps and other game data - Added Matchmaking lobby so that you can practice while waiting before the race starts - All 9 AI drivers now have their own unique set of dialogues
Changes: - Reverted back to having a max of 9 AI vehicles - Made some tweaks to the Camera FOV - Reverted back to the previous car dimensions
Update 0.2.1: Better sense of Speed
A new update is out with the following changes:
Bug Fixes: - The track was not getting rendered in Italy and Italy Reverse - Sound gets muted every time a race is completed - Race End screen does not reset and shows lap times for the previous race - New Camera angle not working on several tracks - Camera facing the wrong direction on race start should happen less frequently (Hopefully)
Improvements: - Vehicle now gets Transparent when collision is disabled - Sense of speed has been improved when racing - Increased the delay in calling "Tire Dead" dialogue from 10 secs to 15-20 secs - Vehicle Tilt has been readded

New Features: - Added Dynamic AI that changes its difficulty based on the race situation - AI vehicles now have their own unique set of dialogues. And they say things based on how they are performing. - Added a new camera angle (Third Person Far) - Better graphics and lighting
Changes: - AI vehicles are now limited to a max of 2 - Settings menu has been added on the tutorial - Vehicles now say "Tire is gone" dialogue when their tires are less than 33 percent to remind the user to change their tires - Info about Qualifying session has been added on the Quali intro screen to help new users understand the session structure. - Game sound has been reduced - Race Finish countdown timer gets displayed when 5 seconds are left for the race to get over instead of 20 - Reduced the size of the vehicles - High resolution vehicle is rendered for the primary user - Vehicle tilt effect has been removed
Bug Fixes: - Static sound when going through curbs has been disabled - Issue where camera was facing the wrong direction on Race/Quali start has been fixed - Issue where the collision got disabled when vehicles were racing wheel to wheel near the finish line.
Update 0.1.9: Engine mode now affects Tire Degradation
The game has been updated to v0.1.9
Changes: - Setting the Engine mode on "High" degrades your tires faster when compared to "Normal" Engine mode. This adds another layer of strategy in deciding when to push or to conserve. - Rain has been disabled in Series 1 to make it easier for new users to adapt into the game - Assist mode is a bit stronger now - ERS Engineer has been renamed to Power Unit Battery Engineer. - The Default Wet tires now last for 3 laps instead of 4 laps - Tire Engineers have been nerfed to allow room for more strategies in the later series.
Improvements: - The tutorial has been remade with the intention of making the user feel less overwhelmed with new concepts
Bug Fixes: - Lag spike when vehicles collided with each other - Host was unable to join the game in party mode when the number of users that joined the party was 10
