Patch 1.10.2.15 is now live

Hey everyone!

We have a new patch available for download. Swedish and Turkish community (Crowdin) translations are now in the game.


  • Fix trees being destroyed upon loading some specific saves.
    Note: Re-saving without trees will not fix the save.
  • Fix Weaponsmiths not showing proper weapon name in function selector
  • Fix Achievement "Happy as a Lark" could be given even when no villagers were happy enough
  • Fix Information Layer flicker on housing preview


Localization

  • Add Swedish community translation
  • Add Turkish community translation
  • Add some missing strings
  • Fix some typos


Patch 1.10.2.14 is now live

Hey everyone!

We have a new patch out, ready for the weekend, to address a few more crashes.


  • Fix crash when loading an overwritten savegame
  • Fix crash when adding multiple parts via Shift-Click
  • Fix crash when clicking multiple times on a part in the edit menu (especially for Walls)
  • Fix some fortification strings that mentioned patrollers instead of watchmen
  • Localization update


We've fixed a large percentage of crashes thanks to you sending in error reports, which has helped immensely! We'll keep working on any reports we get in as well as the various bugs we are seeing on the forums. Thanks once again for all your support and feedback.

Patch 1.10.2.13 is now live

Hi everyone,

We've just put version 1.10.2.13 live, fixing a couple of bugs, crashes and performance issues:

  • Tax Collectors will now actually visit mineral deposits đź’°
  • Mess Halls and Weapon Smiths are once again taxable after reloading
  • Private Quarters will finally welcome guests as intended
  • Fixed a rare issue where traders wouldn’t show up in some villages
  • A bunch of crash fixes, including when removing military companies, destroying sub-buildings mid-construction, or when a guest leaves while you’re looking at their window
  • Audio optimizations to prevent performance issues under certain situations

Post-Release Short-Term Roadmap

Hello, Foundation players!

As we plan to continue refining the game and adressing the most reported issues, we’re excited to share our roadmap for the first wave of Quality of Life (QoL) updates coming to Foundation 1.0.

General Bug Fixes & Improvements



  • Continue investigating a VRAM GPU issue that make the game crash for some players
  • Addressing the most reported issues like pathfinding problems
  • Enhancing overall performance
  • Expanding compatibility with a wider range of GPUs

Gameplay Enhancements



  • Creative Mode: Adding unlimited gold
  • Hunting Forest Improvements: Maintaining boar density over time
  • General Balancing: Adjustments to improve overall game balance

UI/UX Improvements



  • Monument Mode Enhancements:

    • Move Mode - Allowing you to move a whole monument
    • Replace Mode - Allowing you to upgrade a part to another model (i.e. upgrade your wall from wooden to stone wall)
    • Part Leveling Mode - Allowing you to level the parts of your monument evenly
    • General usability improvements
  • Additional fixes for commonly reported UI/UX issues

Mod Support



  • Reactivating mod support:

    • Initially launching a separate build to allow modders to transition to Foundation 1.0
    • Later integrating mods into the main version

Art & Visual Enhancements



  • Expanded Monastery customization with new roof colors
  • General visual improvements
  • And yes—we're making that fisherman row the boat!

Patch 1.10.2.12 is now live

Hello everyone!

Patch 1.10.2.12 is now live. We have fixed a few more crash issues and you'll be happy to hear, Traders will no longer be stuck!

  • Made the "+" button more visible when selecting an extremity control point when editing a wall.
  • Fix the Military manager (Book) becoming locked when the Castle undergoes construction / changes
  • Fix Traders getting stuck in some games. Will also unstick all previously stuck Traders
  • Fix mineral icons still visible if reloading a game while Village Map is open
  • Fix crash on spamming left-click & right-click on scaler gizmo
  • Fix crash when changing a Company order then clicking on the Company entry
  • Fix occasional crash when changing recipe of a workplace - Weaponsmith

Update 1.10.2.11 is live + Polish and Vietnamese languages

Hello Everyone,

A new patch has just been published (1.10.2.11) which includes a few more crash fixes but also comes with Polish and Vietnamese community translations. Full changelog below:

  • A tavern decoration was giving too much Splendor
  • Fix occasional crash when Tax Collectors deposit their loot
  • Fix crash after building a Court of Heroes in a cliff with specific parts

Hello Everyone,

We’re pleased to share a small weekend update that introduces support for the Korean language!
A special thanks to our amazing community members who contributed to the translation—your efforts have helped make the game more accessible to even more players!

Additionally, this update includes several fixes:

  • Fixed a rare crash occurring in the building window when modifications are made.
  • Fixed a rare crash that could happen when the Tax Collector visits a house.
  • Fixed a rare crash related to the road system.

Hotfix 1.10.2.9 is now live

Hello everyone!

We have a new hotfix out 1.10.2.9 to address some more crashes and issues:

  • Fix some cycling notification that would always cycle even if the notification wasn't relevant anymore
  • Fix crash when merging walls (especially with Cosmetic Construction "on")
  • Fix crash when trying to spawn a Trader before Village Center is built. This could happen when "Upgrade Trade Routes" rule is "on".

Hotfix 1.10.2.7 is now live

Hi everyone,

We've just released a new hotfix that addresses multiple crashes and improves stability:


  • Fixed a crash related to construction steps.
  • Fixed a crash when pressing the Escape key while rotating a part.
  • Fixed a crash when clicking the Monument Undo button while multi-placing decorations (Shift key).

We've also added extra logging to help us better understand and resolve the crashes some of you are still experiencing.
