We just released an update that addresses many critical issues with Amphibious Warfare. Farranac Coast should be more playable now and D-Day style landings should work much better now.
Much of the changes were based on feedback you guys gave us after 0.4 went out last week. Thanks for all the suggestions and bug reports!
We'll continue to improve Amphibious Warfare in the coming updates.

Amphibious Warfare Update is HERE! Huge Content Drop

We've just released the biggest update in the history of Foxhole. We've added a whole new map, new vehicles, new structures, and a whole new form of warfare!
Landing APC

The Landing APC is an amphibious warfare vehicle designed to transport infantry across both land and sea. This is an all terrain carrier that can carry soldiers and has a moderate amount of storage space. Capable of resisting small arms and explosives, this vehicle is effective at ferrying troops into combat zones at the front line.
Barge

The Barge is a lightly armored, slow moving ship that can ferry heavy cargo like vehicles, equipment, or infantry across rivers and canals. Unlike the Landing APC, the Barge must dock at a Shipyard to load/unlock cargo. Due to it's lack of armor and defenses, it should only be brought through shipping lanes that have been fully secured.
Tank Traps

An anti-tank obstacle that prevents vehicle access to an area. Gameplay wise, Tank Traps will will act much like "Barbed Wire for vehicles". They will be extremely difficult to take out with conventional weapons and will only be removable quickly with a wrench.
Farranac Coast (NEW MAP)

Farranac Coast is a brand new coastal map with islands, rivers, and beach landings. This is the largest map in Foxhole yet. To the east of the region we have a large coastal area with farmlands and towns. To the west we have a large offshore island with abandoned villages and flooded marshes. The two sides are separated by a river and several large bays that can only be crossed with Landing APCs and Barges.
There are many other gameplay changes, improvements, and bug fixes in this update. Full release notes can be found here: HERE.

Remember that the Amphibious Warfare update is coming on Sept 14th!
Anti-Tank Mines will detonate when heavy vehicles like Half-Tracks and Light Tanks drive over them. They will be fully visible by infantry on foot. More than ever, it will be important for heavy vehicles to be escorted by foot soldiers. Mines can be dismantled using a wrench.
Slow Wounds

Slow Wounds is a new ability that will allow players to aid critically wounded friendlies and keep them alive for a couple of more moments in battle, hopefully long enough for a medic to arrive. The ability is stackable, meaning that mulitple players can apply pressure to the wounds of a downed player, keeping that player alive for even longer. Hold the left mouse button when facing a critically wounded player to apply the Slow Wounds effect.
There are other gameplay changes, improvements, and bug fixes in this update. Full release notes can be found here: HERE.

Foxhole 0.2 Update! Bayonets, Large 140 Player Servers, and More!
The Bayonet is a bladed accessory that attaches to the muzzle of a Rifle or Carbine and is used to perform a long range melee attack. It is relatively cheap to produce and is useful when ammo is scarce or in close quarters. It instantly kills player, unlike the default melee attack where damage scales with the attackers health.
For a very long time now, players have been asking for increased player capacity. We're finally taking some small step towards larger servers, with 140 player support. We will be rolling this out on Campaign and other select servers. We're excited to see what kind of battles these expanded servers will bring.
There are other gameplay changes, improvements, and many bug fixes in this update. We're also beginning to roll out partial support for community servers. I highly suggest reading the full release notes HERE.

The Rifle Grenade Launcher is inspired by the M1 Grenade Projection Adapter, which was able to load and launch regular hand grenades. In Foxhole, the Rifle Grenade Launcher will be an accessory that can be equipped to Rifles. Once equipped, the Rifle can be switched to fire Grenades by toggling it's Fire Mode via a key press. Grenades thrown with this accessory can reach distances further than those thrown by hand. Initially, the Rifle Grenade Launcher will be compatible with Frag Grenades, but were exploring the idea of allowing it to be used with other grenade types like Smoke and Green Ash.
Fisherman's Row

We are introducing the first ever 60 player "skirmish" style map to Foxhole. This map will be designed for faster paced gameplay that will be appropriate for new players and veterans that are interested in training exercises or smaller skirmishes. Fisherman's Row is an island off the West coast of the old Warden Empire and features beaches, farm lands, and hilly areas.
There are other gameplay changes, improvements, and bug fixes in this update. I highly suggest reading the full release notes HERE.
Foxhole 0.0.32 Update Released! Construction Vehicle, Gun Nest, and Campaign Metagame

Construction Vehicle

The Construction Vehicle is now required to build large structures in the game like Town Halls, Outposts, Weapon Factories, and more. It requires two players to operate, one driver and one operator. It builds 40% faster than Hammers. The Construction Vehicle is slow moving, easy to disable, but hard to destroy. While it is currently limited to building a few specific structures, we hope to expand it's capabilities in the future.
Gun Nest

The Gun Nest isn't technically a new structure, but is an upgrade of the Foxhole. One of our goals with Gun Nests is to allow players to further fortify an area in the mid to late game without having to add clutter/Foxhole spam to their already crowded bases. We also wanted to extend the structure upgrade system beyond just walls. The Gun Nest will not only have a faster rate of gun fire than the Foxhole, but it will also lob Frag Grenades at enemies.
There a ton of other gameplay changes and improvements in this update. I highly suggest reading the full release notes HERE.
