  • Various GPU optimizations have been made. This should cut down on resources needed to run the game, and some crashes.

  • Lobbies now double check that the session didn't become full after refreshing, before allowing a player to join a game. This should cut down on interruptions in games.
  • Mouse sensitivity is now saved between games.


Game Balancing




  • The Queen's throw is slightly slower.
  • We are experimenting with a change to the Rook grapple: The grapple has an increased range, and now deals damage to self proportional to the distance travelled with the grapple hook (damage to self will never take you below 1 health). Additionally, grappling a Rook's wall does not do self-damage.

  • UI has been cleaned up in several places.
  • Players who can still see full lobbies should no longer be able to do so. If you are able to see full lobbies after this update, please report this.
  • The invite menu should no longer pop up during a game. If you see the invite menu pop up during a game after receiving this update, please report this.

Upcoming Fixes




  • The bug which causes the invite menu to pop up during gameplay is known. For now, a close button has been added to the invite menu so this no longer blocks gameplay. A true fix for this bug is being looked into.
