Workshop Opened, First Mod Is Live And Modding Tools Coming Soon!
Hi everyone,
We are glad to announce that we have officially opened the Steam Workshop.

So far there is only one mod uploaded by us, but with the modding tools that we will release in a couple of days, there will be more and more community-made mods! [previewyoutube="ZqxLKOO36JE;full"] You can download mod from the Steam, Nexus or ModDB.
Our modding tools are powerful, you can mod almost everything in the game, including maps, guns, clothes, factions, soldiers, companions and etc. Possibilities for mods are countless.
There will be detailed PDF documentation and around 20 step-by-step tutorial videos to help you easily learn how to mod Freeman. Also, our developers will be there to assist you.

V1.32 Update Changelog (Main Build)
Features: - New Battle Maps. Four new battle maps are available now. - Improved graphics on the world map and battle map. - Improved graphics for impact effects. - Added Army difficulty indicator on the world map. - Players can rearrange items in inventory now. - Auto-sort function for player’s inventory can be turned on/off in the Store. - New reactions added. When an AI takes hit, it will respond with new reaction movements, which allows players to clearly know the result. -When selling items in a market place, players can turn on the auto-sort function, which allows faster trading.
Balancing: - Increased exp, money and loot drops from fighting Looters and Mountain Bandits. - Decreased difficulty for outlaw factions. - Adjusted some soldiers’ armor and outfit.
Optimization: -Optimized the operation menu of the steam workshop, added information about publishing Mod state, and improved the publishing process. - Customized trajectories for each bullet type, in order to improve graphics. - Removed the option to attach a silencer to SV98M and Thompson. -Adjusted the damage speed of bulletproof vests and helmets in the game. Now hitting by different weapons, the same armor will last differently. -Trees, bushes, leaves and their shades now block AI soldier's sight more effectively than before. Players are now encouraged to unitize the terrain, therefore creating various battle plans, such as ambush, and supersizing counter-attack. -Optimized the graphics of trees and stones in general in the battle maps. -Optimized the graphics of trees and stones when taking hit in the battle maps.
Bug fixes: -Soldiers sometimes stand under the battle map during the fight. -Gambling sometimes doesn't give rewards and occasionally displays customized weapons. - Black market generates no items after loading the game. - Wrong world map army position after loading the game. - AI armies stop spawning in new campaign mode. - Duplicating item when equipping the soldier from Special Item Slot. - Soldiers occasionally spawned under the ground, in the bandit camp map. - Occasionally showing tutorial text when activating hint windows. -Alpha Force fails to invade after players unified the land. -Soldiers showing gun-holding gestures while not equipping guns, in the Party interface. -Not showing vegetation on the World Map. -Missing weapon or item while loading customized MOD.

To Opt Into the Test branch.
Launch the Steam Client. Go to the LIBRARY tab. Right click on Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare and select Properties. Then click the BETAS tab. Then select "test-Test Version" from the drop-down and close the window. Then update the game and you are ready to go. You can opt out at any time to get the default version of the game.
Custom Battle And Campaign Mode Update v1.21

Campaign Mode: -In addition to the original Classic Battle, three new campaigns are available upon new games: Rise of Atov, Conquest to Unite a Land, and Three War Parties. -In addition to the original Classic Battle, two new special campaigns are available upon new games: A Continent of Chaos and Challenge Mode. Note: choosing a new campaign provides fresh game experience with different gaming stages and environments, as well as a new strategy.
Custom Battle: -A Quick Game option is added at the campaign mode. This option allows players to customize and start a battle directly. -In a Quick Game, players are allowed to customize a battle. Battle type including: City Offense & Defense, Village Breakthrough, Annihilation, Field Encounter, Stronghold Annihilation, are available. Environment options including: mountain, snow, forest, desert, are available. Other options including factions, troops, class and time of the day are available. Note: Famous Battles are available at the Quick Game mode. By choosing well-known battles in the game, players are allowed to further explore their companions’ backstories, through fighting on their side. These battles come with default factions, troops, location and time of the day. Players can jump directly to the fight and steer the battlefield, after choosing the class.
Gambling: - Gambling is added to each city, in the Bar. Each lottery draw cost a few coins. Rewards will be added to the Inventory.
Black Market: -Remake the Black Market. Remove uncommon weapons from the Black Market. More powerful Customized Weapons are added to the Black Market. Upon each entering, players are allowed to choose one Customized Weapon, with enhanced features. -Other items from the former Black Market are available at the Merchant. Note: Enhanced features include: Damage, Capacity, Accuracy, Firing Rate, Velocity, Projectile Amount, and Bullet Versatility. These combinations make Customized Weapons more powerful, so pick with patience.
Steam Achievement: -Steam Achievement is now available. Upon accomplishing a game achievement will unlock a Steam Achievement.
Balancing: -HMG are equipped with 50Cal ammo now.
Bugs Fix: -Enemy soldiers now DO NOT “occasionally move faster in the battle”. -Some Companions' preference now matches the gifts. Good for them. -Accepting a Faction Companion's quest will not cause an uncontrollable situation now. -AI construction will not exceed Land Limit now. Stop CHEATING, AI!
