The initial implementation of multiplayer has been added and includes:
A brand new, multiplayer-only area accessible by entering through the Social Hub doors
A new teleport location on the map for easy access
A social environment where players can interact with each other
Player avatars (Customization coming soon!)
Grabbable fruits to throw around and slice
Automatic, region based matchmaking
Voice chat
Two blade and one bow type accessible in the multiplayer area (we will include all the single-player weapons soon!)
Plunger arrows!

This is the very first version of multiplayer so please reach out to us with any issues you may encounter. The team will be popping into multiplayer every now and then to see how everything's going.
MEET THE DEVS!
To celebrate the much awaited opening of the Social Hub, we are organising our very first multiplayer session in Fruitasia! Come meet the Developers of Fruit Ninja VR 2 and try to beat their scores, or even just hang out and chat about your experience with our game.
Don't worry if you can't make it for this session - we have 6 regional servers opening this weekend so you will be able to find other Ninjas to train with. You can switch regions in the game as well to play with other Ninjas across the world!

Multiplayer v1.0!
Welcome Ninjas! For so long, youโve sliced and diced fruit alone in this world. Now get ready to meet your fellow Ninjas in the Social Hub!
We will be opening the Multiplayer servers on 28th July at 8pm PST (29th July, 1pm AEST). You can open private lobbies to play with just your friends or join open lobbies to play with other Ninjas in your area! Show off your skills with the bow and arrow or swords in a series of challenges spread around the arena.
The Juice Hub is open and taking orders โ grab fruits and slice them accordingly to serve thirsty customers. Can you keep up with the demand? Grab fruit from the nearby crates and start a fruit fight! Challenge other to a Ninjas to a shootout, we have safety plungers just in case you miss. ๐

Weโre checking off another much-requested item on our player's wish lists: Arcade mode โ new and improved!
Bonus Bananas ๐ are back with new visuals and music to really add to that immersive experience. Slicing these juicy treats has some interesting effects on your gameplay as well as your environment! Is the challenge getting too hot for you? Slice a Freeze Banana when it comes and watch as a blanket of snow takes over the Cherry Blossom Garden!

Arcade Mode
Arcade mode from the original Fruit Ninja has been added to game and includes:
Arcade specific leaderboards
A new area has been added to house the Arcade mode
New visuals and effects for the power bananas

Onboarding
The gate to the connecting garden is now unlocked by default to allow players to play Arcade without choosing the Blades tutorial path or unlocking Blades mode through gameplay
The gate to Gutsu's Lagoon that houses Blades mode is closed by default and now requires Blades mode to be unlocked for it to open
The Blades tutorial path has been updated to reflect how the accessibility of these gates have changed

We are here today to bring you the big newsโฆ In several different languages!
With this update, we are proud to announce that we now have support for 6 Languages! Players will now get to choose the language that best suits them.
The languages we currently support are:
- French - German - Italian - Japanese - English - Spanish
We want to provide an inclusive experience for our players around the world, thatโs why we will be adding more localization over time. For now, users can select one of the 6 languages from the settings menu on the pad.

Smooth Locomotion!
๐โ๏ธ๐จ Smooth Locomotion
When we first released FNVR2, there were 2 options for travelling around the map in the game: blink teleport or dash. Through discussions with our players on our Discord, it was clear a more natural and immersive way to explore Fruitasia would improve the experience and thatโs something weโve been working on!
In this latest update, you can now travel smoothly by pushing the analogue stick on your controllers in any direction. Need to jump to access some areas? Just press in the movement thumbstick and youโll be able to aim and dash across gaps with no issue. You will also be able to choose between moving in the direction you are facing or moving in the direction your hand is pointing. If it's still not moving as you'd like, the movement and rotation speeds can also be customised in the Ninja Scroll settings tab!

๐ฏ Archery Levels
We have also added new content to the game in the form of 12 NEW Archery levels spread across 3 setlists. These levels are intended to introduce new players to the Archery mode and provide experienced players a chance to master the fundamentals

Smooth Locomotion
Added the ability to move smoothly by pushing the movement analog stick in any direction.
Added the option to be able to rotate smoothly by tilting the turn analog stick.
Players are able to choose between moving forward in the direction your headset is facing or in the direction your hand is pointed.
Players can change movement and rotation speed for Smooth Locomotion in the settings.
Archery Levels
We have added 12 new Archery levels spread across 3 set lists in an effort to improve the new player experience.
These levels are intended to introduce new players to Archery while also providing experienced players a chance to master the fundamentals.

Gameplay
Overhauled Blade physics interactions with all physics objects.
It is now easier to deflect, bounce and hold onto fruit and bombs during gameplay.
Altered each Blade to have unique slicing/skewering/deflecting properties.
Tutorial
Added a branching path to allow new players to choose to start the game as a Blade or Bow Ninja
Players will unlock whichever path they didn't choose by playing 10 levels of their chosen game type
World
Added sign posts around the world to help navigation
Bug Fixes
Getting 0 score in a level will now give the F grade you deserve
The Sai Holders in the exterior dojo will now update based on your unlocked and equipped Sais
