New Sais



  • The Banana, Lightning and Gravity Sais can now be unlocked from the shop in Gutsu's Lagoon and on the Archery Path.
  • You can now view and equip Sais from your collection in the Dojo.
  • The Master Sai has been added to the Dojo and can be unlocked by completing the Sai Master mission.

New Mission



  • Added a new mission to A+ all the Rhythm levels and become the Sai Master.

Ninja Scroll



  • Sais can now be equipped from the Ninja Scroll.
  • Removed stats from the Home Screen to accommodate the larger inventory and future Ninja Avatar display.

It’s time for some big news, and it’s not an April fool’s prank! We’ve been listening to our players’ requests since the release of Early Access, and we’re happy to announce that we’ve brought Classic mode to Fruit Ninja VR 2!



Now it wouldn’t be a Fruit Ninja VR game without being able to skewer your way into making a fruity juicy shish kebab. So, in addition to classic mode, we're also bringing you the ability to skewer fruit!

🤔 Quest Lab? Classic Mode? ✨

Hello Ninjas!
We got some good news, some really good news, and some bad news. Let’s have a look.



The bad news.


So as most of our players know our team has been working tirelessly on getting a build pushed out to Quest Lab. However, as we are focussing on bringing it to Quest 2, we must make some changes.
Our team has had to make the hard decision to no longer release the game on Quest Lab.

We had already made the decision to not support Quest 1 due to performance and optimization issues a little while back. We have since discovered that proceeding with the Quest Lab Launch would mean we would need to commit to providing support for Quest 1 on full release.

Our team will now be focussing on getting the Quest 2 build in the Quest store.



Some good news.


As you have been asking for it, we are now implementing the fan-favorite Classic mode from Fruit Ninja VR! The team is currently hard at work bringing this original mode to life in Fruit Ninja VR 2, and you can expect it in our next update!

In addition to Classic mode, we have also now begun work on the new Social Hub in preparation for our upcoming multiplayer modes. This endeavor will again take some time, so your patience is all we ask.

To help our players get an understanding of what we have in production you can find below our roadmap. Hopefully, this will allow you to get a better understanding of where we are at and what we are planning.

We've got one more update to give you before the year ends to fix some bugs and address some of your feedback!

Level Tweaks


  • General and QOL tweaks to all archery levels
  • Tweaks to the rhythm levels to address some concerns with difficulty/readability

Bindings


  • Fixed the default bindings for Vive Cosmos headsets

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that would cause the game to pause itself infinitely when certain Steam VR settings were used

As always, please keep us informed with any bugs and feedback you might have! The Fruit Ninja VR 2 team will be off for a two week break after today but we'll be coming back strong in the new year!

Thank you for all your feedback and support! We're still hard at work getting more content into the game. As great as it's been, we've seen players from our previous releases experiencing issues with a few systems that we want to address.

Previous Save Data



  • Players that have completed the tutorial in the Fruit Ninja VR 2 Playtest or Demo are no longer locked out of completing missions
  • Players that have unlocked the Blades mode in the Fruit Ninja VR 2 Playtest or Demo can now unlock the gate to Gutsu's Lagoon properly

🎉 Early Access and Beyond! 🚀

Hey everyone!

With Fruit Ninja VR 2 going live we thought it would the perfect time to give everyone an update on what we have planned throughout early access and what people can look forward to.

Before I begin, we would like to just take this time to say thank you. Thank you to all the members of the community that helped us out during development from playtesting to feedback.

As we work our way through early access, we have a couple of things lined up.
First and foremost.

The Social Hub.


A place that acts like a lobby. You will be able to join other players, chat and participate in minigames and interactions. This location will be the main hub for all things social.

We have a couple of ideas for minigames and interactables but would LOVE your ideas and feedback on what people would enjoy.

Multiplayer! Yes, it is coming. Soon.


You will be able to play full game modes with other players. You will be able to start multiplayer games from the social hub. Initially we will be building one mode but will be building up our catalogue the more that people play it.

New Blades, Bows and Skins.


We plan to bring more regular updates with everything from new blades, bows, music tracks (rhythm mode), and collectable Sais. Over time we will be bringing in new levels and adjustments based on community feedback.

Last but not least Bug fixes... but really that’s a given.
