Just a very tiny update to fix a couple of shader bugs (the infamous 'black triangle bug' was probably due to this).

Some of you already know about my new game. For the others here's a quick overview: third-person shooter, wave based, FPS/mouse controls friendly, quick sessions, daily leaderboards and some rogue-like elements. Basically a lot in common with Furious Angels.

  • Fixed holes in the ground for the 'mountains' environment (the white one), which happened for some hardware configurations only.

Thanks to t-blade for fixing the geometry.

v1.9j


  • Added "Reset Defaults" option in: Menu > Controls > Rebind Axes
  • Last wave is a bit more difficult
  • Minimal, non-gameplay related tweaking here and there

  • Fixed end of day bug

v1.9 / v1.9f - Buffed

Strikes are changes from v1.9 to v1.9f

• Armor upgrade when leveling up


The tank will now get some armor upgrade (+66%) when leveling up. Basic and missile form will get a +20%. From MK-II onwards.

• Increased missile damage when leveling up


Was +33% at each new level up. Now it is at +50% +66%. From MK-II onwards.

• Scores are now a bit more readable


With digits.

• Ship leveling capped at MK-X MK-V


Very few will reach this upgrade level.
That way transformation loop is more fun and accessible. Plus you get more chances to use the laser tank!

• Smoother wave / carrier curve at the endgame


Carrier waves are now like this: 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7. Was: 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 7.

• Added fire toggle option


Menu > Controls > Firemode.

That's it!

v1.8 - Giulius

• Added more waves and carriers to the endgame


This applies only to the very best players out there.

• Added 'FPS Cap' option


A better version of the previous 'VSync' option that will let you manually set the fps cap up to your desktop refresh rate, if you desire.

• Added 'Song' option


Brought back the original song, which is called 'Giulius'.

v1.7 - Safer

• Made the code a bit safer from cheating


Long overdue.

• You can mix gamepad input with mouse and keyboard


For example you can use one stick for movement and the mouse for shooting.

That's it!

Version 1.62 / 1.63 - AFTERBURN

So, this is what I've been working on for a while now, as you can see from the visuals it is quite similar to Furious Angels, gameplay too.

Version 1.6 - Updated


  • Unity engine updated to a more recent version.
  • Better screen options, now you can play fullscreen at 480p if you want to.
  • Leaderboards are not clipping names anymore.
  • Last day ranking is now available whenever you want. Go to Menu > Last Day (although wait the current day to end to see this change).


I've put v1.52 in the beta branch in case there are any game breaking issues, please let me know if that happens.
