  • Final missions issues have been resolved and re-enabled.

  • Bears and Tigers have added SFX.

  • Fixed an issue where player could not gather water with empty buckets from ponds/lakes
  • GPS can now also be found in supply crates.
  • Strength skill tree mastery level now applies instant takedown on melee weapons properly.
  • Inventory related sound effects (eating, drinking, etc) will no longer layer up. They will only play one sound at a time.
  • Wooden storage crates will now drop all items inside when salvaged with the building hammer.
  • Cut the first wave out of helicopter raids to improve the pacing of the raid event.
  • Fixed pistol weilding soldiers/captains aiming pose, they now aim directly at the player correctly.
  • Fixed collisions in facilities.
  • Improvements have been made to certain areas on the map.
  • Selected characters in multiplayer will now be more apparent that they are already taken.

Still Investigating

  • Pressing Alt + Tab during game saving has been reported to cause issues saving.
  • HV-1 Interaction for client players.
  • Multiplayer bugs - we need more information on any issues that arise during multiplayer.
  • Tracking markers disappearing after 1000m range

As usual, a huge thank you for all the feedback coming our way. Please continue to bring on the feedback. We will now be getting started on the upcoming content update in May, fixes will still rollout in the meantime.

FURTIVE now releasing 29 March 2024

FURTIVE will now be releasing in Early Access 29 March 2024. Stay tuned on our socials for more posts coming over the next few weeks.

This is a delay from our 2023 release plans we wanted to stick to, but meeting that time frame became more and more unrealistic due to the remaining workload. We are however completely locked in on this date and have begun doing more non-remote work sessions together to achieve this goal. We have chosen to go with an Early Access release to give a period of time for us to act on player feedback related directly to any issues we missed in testing and such, we expect to be out of it as soon as we are satisfied with the state of the launch build, and of course we will continue to grow the game from there.

In terms of testing we wanted to plan another playtest as soon as we can, so for players interested in that we will have news for you very soon. Thanks everyone!

Next Fest Demo Concluded

As the Next Fest now comes to an end, so does our Next Fest Demo. We want to thank everyone who took the time throughout the week to give our game a try and provide us with the much needed feedback. We've read through every single piece of feedback we could find and already have written down our plans to address all of it as we continue to develop our game further.

Although we can agree on the big flaws found in our demo, we truly believe we've got great things coming. This has been a big learning experience for us, we've had big takeaways from it and we are really grateful for everyone's insight that has helped us.

We promise nothing will be released in the same kind of state as our demo. We want to make sure that our product will be top quality, content packed, and with minimal issues. We will do anything to achieve our goal even if it might mean delaying our game further, we believe your satisfaction with our product comes first before anything.

Thank you again, please follow our social channels such as our twitter, instagram or discord to see our progress updates as we develop our game!

Feedback Response + Development Roadmap

Hello everyone, we've read through all the feedback we've received regarding our demo. We want to apologise for any poor experiences that may have occurred. What you are mostly seeing in the demo is the groundwork that's being laid which we are getting ready to expand upon. But with that there are also some outstanding issues that need to be addressed from performance, to filling the world with more interesting locations and interactable objects.

We have a lot of plans that we weren't able to achieve before the demo, we got too ahead of ourselves and were excited to bring you a playable experience to try as soon as we could. But we see we didn't hit the mark we wanted to at all. All the feedback we received is being taken into account and we will be working hard to elevate the experience to a much higher standard to bring you the type of game that is enjoyable for you to play.

With that, here is our roadmap of the things we are working up until our release.

There is still much more to come with all the changes we want to make based on the feedback you've provided. Hopefully this news comes as something you want to hear and would be willing to give us another chance later down the line.

Thank you everyone!
