Weekly update - Monday 16th of January 2023

Iiiiiiit's another Monday, where were we last Monday? Well we had a feature so close to releasing that we decided to just postphone and push it all at once!

- Battle Replays!
- New formula for how many Warpoints are earned in attacks
- New war matchmaking formula -- subject to change, give us your feedback: if you get matched quickly and if the matches are fair
- Added social media links ingame
- Attacks from Galaxy, friends bar etc. match Target Finder's rules: now you can attack any planet with a Starbase equal to or above your own regardless of player level
- Use all Coins & Minerals from inventory
- Embassy is now buildable -- but what will it do?
- Maximum of 32 battlelogs, or older than 1 month are deleted
- Fixed coord visibility in battle log issues
- Fixed broken text on Smasher Squad mission
- Fixed Elderby giving fake coins
- Fixed an issue with troops teleporting back to Bunkers
- Fixed recent issues with animations in Strategic View (recycling Obstacles, etc.)

S-trike Rebalance

Hi,

In the last Monday update we rebalanced the S-trikes. We have read and heard your replies to these changes.
We are happy to announce that we will rebalance them again whilst taking your suggestions into account!

Maintenance was enabled and servers will be back at 1PM CET with these new times. If you cannot get in make sure to restart your game so your client will properly update.

The new times are:

Lvl 4 remains 5min
Lvl 5 is increased to 7.5min
Lvl 6 remains 10min
Lvl 7 is increased to 15min

Weekly update - Monday 2nd of January 2023

Are we all still here? Yes? Okay good, I hope you had a wonderful New Year and that all your dreams may come true!
Now we didn't sit idly by during the year change, we continue to work on bringing improvements to you!

So what did we do this past week? Ofcourse we made some changes that you will get to enjoy today, but there will also be a mention of 1 of several internal projects we are currently running

-Add server maintenance alert(with this included you will see an ingame timer that will show when the server restart will happen and you'll be kicked)
-Fix working sprites visible in flatbed
-Fix happening only attractor behavior
-Fix Falcons in bunkers attempting to shoot out of range
-Fix shop tabs missing translations
-Fix building preview sprite on upgrade screen
-Fix Friends Bunker overfilling
-Fix upgrading bunkers having wrong sprite in battle
-Changes to how locks are applied, you will no longer be kicked when maintenance gets enabled(you will however not be able to login again until maintenance ends) and you will no longer get planet destroyed in a war if the planet is supposed to have auto repaired already
-Increased throughput of alliance requests
-Balance changes to strike,mole and missile launcher

Project 60
-Entering internal testing

Maintenance will be enabled at 9PM CET and will last 1h. Servers will be back at 10PM CET.

Weekly update - Monday 26th of December 2022

Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you had great celebrations(did you already get the Christmas Tree in Galaxy Life?)
Since the Christmas update basically had most of our changes in it there will not be an update today.

Except ofcourse that we fixed aurora from battles going missing, it will now properly stay and any you had already lost up to this point has been returned to you!

This is also the moment for what we want to change about ourselves going towards the new year.
No longer will we push small updates in the middle of the night kicking the night owls from their battles. Any and all forms of maintenance and updates will be announced and we are working on a system to show when there will be maintenance so that it is clear to all what's going on!

Christmas event

The golems have been repelled and it's the holiday season! With it we have a brand new update for everyone to enjoy, this includes the following changes:

-New background
-New loading screen
-New christmas building skins for almost every building
-Winter event
-Return of the original christmas tree in the collection tab
-A couple small visual fixes
-Anti-cheat improvements

The goal of the event is to collect aurora fragments by doing tasks in-game for rewards, we hope that everyone will have a great time during this event!

Weekly update - Monday 19th of December 2022

Ahh it's Monday again, wait, what? You say my paternity leave has ended? Why am I writing this then?
Oh okay I get it, yeah shh.

Anyhow!
Maintenance will start at 8PM CET and will last approximately 1 hour.
You can expect the servers back online at 9PM CET.

-New Nature HUD skin
-About a dozen small visual fixes
-Removed mallet from wishlist
-Fixes for refinery
-Changed locks to be per planet instead of per account
-More battlelogs

What's this you say? It's Monday? Well time for an update then!

Weekly update - Monday 5th of December 2022

Another Monday, another update!

What has the team pulled out of their magic hats this time? Let's have a look!

-Implemented suggestions 727, 694 (Decreased training times of: Colossus, Mole, Zeppelin, Starlinator, Kamikaze, Turned max amount of decorations into even numbers)
-Changed drop rate of toolbox/helmet/starbattery
-Implemented an unused feature where there are 2 versions of event traps. Those that work against players and more powerful ones that work only during event waves. You'll see any event traps you had in your inventory turn into to proper anti-player traps now
-Buffed kamikaze and lvl 7 flamethrower
-Some special event units were buffed in response to normal unit buffs
-Decreased the price of: Green beret pack, military pack
-Buffed the contents of: Horror Pack, Doom pack, Military Pack
-Free colony moves equal to # of colonies for all users
-Multiple battle crash fixes
-Fixes for BattleLog

Unplanned update on Thursday 1st of December 2022

During a scheduled migration of our staging environment a staging server containing experimental new code was run on our production network.
This caused inconsistency across our network, hence we pushed this emergency update.

The update was pushed around 8PM CET and the downtime was about 10 minutes.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

In this update we released a few fixes:

-Battlelog saving/showing
-Crash after battle when you bought battle support

Weekly update - Monday 28th of November 2022

Update Monday rolls around again!

This week we put a lot of work into bugfixes and something never seen before in the Galaxy!
Sadly our new feature didn't make it through quality control yet and as such will be pushed at a later date.

Outside of that we do have quite a few changes for today, let's have a look at our list:

-Language and skin preferences are now saved
-Added colony Star Base flags
-Possible fix for incorrect Refinery times (does not apply retroactively)
-Possible fix for Star Shield damage not being saved
-Several fixes for online, under attack etc. timers
-Some fixes for upcoming events
-Fixed alliance leaderboard
-Fixed a bug making coords visible after unfriending
-Fixed duplicate spending when in a battle
-Fixed a crash during battles
-Improved target finder
-Fixed some issues with bots in target finder
-Fixed troops not showing in battlelog
-Added 90% of the work for next update(will contain biig things which we are now testing, more in the coming days)
