Hello guys! New update was just added to the game with a ton of new changes
Ship systems are completely overhauled. Now you can build and improve your ship in any way you want, by constructing new systems on the fly. I'm very happy with the results so far, but I need to know yours guys opinions.
You have 3 different ships with slightly different systems available to choose from
Starting bonuses reworked
Teleporter system functions are reworked, now it allows to teleport on the map without wasting fuel and evacuate from dangerous missions
Energy shield ship ability now lasts for 1 turn but armor bonus of it is increases to 20
Basic accuracy koefficent of all weapons is decreased by 10%, but preferred class accuracy bonus is increased to 10%, so if you are using preferreed weapon for the class, accuracy is the same as before
What's coming next:
Some of new ship systems are not implemented yet, like implant crafting system, or cyborg construction system, I will add them in the next update, in January. Also weapon mod system will allow armor modifications

Patch 0.39 - Easy mode added
New small patch added:
New difficulty mode - safe. It functions like normal mode, but without permadeath, which means if atleast one of your characters is alive after winning the mission, they all come back
Hard weapon requirements for classes are gone, now each class can use every weapon, but preferred classes get +3% accuracy bonus when using their weapons
Soldier focus restoring nerfed from 25 to 20
Trade stations placement on the map improved, now they are spread even on the whole map
Fixed bug with light receiver mod on weapon not removing action points requirements
fixed other small bugs
What's coming next:
I have huge plans to improve ship systems. Basically you will be able to construct different systems on the fly and improve them, and there will be different ship types that will have different types of ship systems. More cool stuff like modifying your armor, crafting implants or advanced robots coming!

Update 0.38 - new character and equipment systems
Hello guys! A huge update I've been working on is available for playing and testing out.
Warning! Due to heavy changes to character system, your old saves is incompatible with this version. I will try to reduce times this happens as much as I can in the future, but this may happen again, while the game is in early access.
List of changes:
Your characters can now have one of 3 classes:
Assault class.
Assault focuses on aggressive and mobile play, wields shotguns and can tank a lot of damage. Main resource of Assault is rage, which increases when he deals or receives damage, and allows him to do a lot of different abilities.
Soldier class.
Soldier class wields rifles and focuses on dealing a lot of damage in long range. Main resource of this class is focus - which is very quickly replenishes each turn.
Support class.
Support class is not really a damage dealer. He wields pistols and smgs, can heal and buff allies, scout areas or control enemies with shock grenades. He uses energy which is limited for a fight
Changes to equipment:
Secondary equipment was replaced by implants, which is the main way to increase stats of your characters. Most useful equipment functions like grenades, medkits etc. is moved to class abilities.
Other changes:
Biogenetic and psi-modifier stations are removed from the game, more changes to the ship systems coming soon
Enemy spawn rates changed, to make difficulty curve more smooth
Some minor interface changes and bug fixes

Upcoming updates and changes to the characters
Hello everyone!
I wanted to announce that I'm going to heavily update and change character progression system in upcoming update. I was thinking about it for a long time, because I don't think that current system offers much variety and depth in gameplay options, and I want to improve this.
In short, I want to implement class system, with 3 classes at start, with a whole lot of new abilities and talents, unique for each class. I don't want these classes to be similiar to other tactical games, like xcom, so they will be pretty unique, atleast I hope they will. I also design them to have different synergies between each other.
I also want to change secondary equipments system, take the most useful things like grenades, medkits and couple more to class abilities, remove all other items that are not used very much, and make equipment an instrument of tuning out stats of your characters.
Anyway, I will tell all in detail, when the update will be ready, I hope to get it ready next week.

New update 0.34 - content update
New type of planet for fights - alient planet
New type of NPCs on the stations, who you can just talk with and maybe get a small bonus, depending on your answers. Some are random, some might require logical thinking or knowing game mechanics. New npcs will be added in future updates.
You can now click on the portrait of the soldier and center the camera on it.
Small bugs fixes
New update 0.33a - content update
New weapon - scatter gun. Weaker version of the shotgun, available at the start
Items drop balance changes
Armor piercing bullets now has 100% chance to destroy armor and give additional 5% crit chance increase
steady position talent gives 10% accuracy each turn with maximum of 40%
Invincibility ability now lasts 2 turns instead of 3
Rare enemies - enemies now have a small chance to become rare, increasing damage, health, and getting additional perks like aura of armor or aura of regeneration
Small bug fixes
New update 0.32 - character customization improvements
New update was just added to the game, with big vizual customization upgrades for characters.
WARNING! This update might be incompatible with your current campaign saves, so I would recommend start new campaign, or, if your models are disappeared in existing campaign, go to the character customization options and assign the proper ones.
Your squad members can now be tough guys, cool girls or ugly aliens, whatever you want.
Armor items changed also, some models for advanced armor is not in the game yet, they will be added later.
Grenade damage was reduced from 30 to 25, and some of the small bugs were fixed.

Update 0.30 - new story missions and black holes!
New update was just added to the game.
Two new story missions:
1) Too much trouble - happens after assasins attack, if you make choice to not go to Altestra
2) Revenge of the dead - happens after obelisk mission, if you are refusing a ritual
Also, right now I'm using the same ambient score track for all cutscenes, I am planning to replace it with unique music for each cutscene later
Black holes:
Now after starting new game, you will encounter black holes on the galaxy map, that will transport you to another black hole, closer to the finish of the game, and you will encounter random specific black hole event.
Another changes:
Campaign galaxy map is little more narrow, than before, to focus the progress more
Fixed some interface bugs
Fixed some bugs with quests disappearing and not working with radar system

New update 0.28 - Battle events!
New update was just added to the game.
Now different random battle events can occur during missions. Neutral units that can attack you or your enemies, earthquakes, solar flares or space anomalies - a lot of cool stuff.
Right now there are about 10 different events in the game, later more events will be added.
Other improvements:
Drone scouting energy price raised from 2 to 5
Invincibility is now correctly lasts 3 turns
health talents now add 40 health and accuracy talents now add 10% accuracy
