Imagine going to the cinema with a fake ticketâwhat do you think would happen? Youâd probably get kicked out, and your chance to watch that long-awaited movie would slip through your fingers. In the Gas Station Simulator â Drive-In Cinema DLC, youâll step into the role of a ticket inspector, ensuring that no sneaky moviegoers try to watch films for free.
Cleaning đ§č
Just like your gas station and toilets, your Drive-In Cinema needs proper cleaning too! Apart from those pesky customers leaving trash behind, youâll also sometimes miss your shot at the Dennis dummy, right? At first, it might feel a little tediousârunning between your station, toilet, and cinema to keep everything spotless. But donât worry! As you upgrade your cinema to higher tiers, cleaning will become automated, just like most other systems in this DLC. âïž
Events in Drive-In Cinema đïž
It wouldnât be a proper Gas Station Simulator DLC without some exciting events to boost your renown and income, right? Letâs take a look at two new events that will be available alongside the DLC.
Rush Hour â
As the name suggests, a single hour between 10 AM and 10 PM will be randomly selected. This chosen hour will be visible in the projector screen UI, and if you schedule a movie for this time slot, youâll gain special benefitsâsuch as increased popcorn prices and faster renown growth.
Trending đ
The Trending event is a special occurrence within the projector, where 1-3 random movies are selected to participate. These movies receive a special tag, making them more visible to you. During the event, ticket prices for these movies increase by 50%, providing a revenue boost.
Important note: All events start at 12 PM and last 24 hours until the next draw.
Drive-In Cinema is coming in March 2025! đ„
Yep, you read that right! Soon, your beloved gas station will receive a brand-new, free expansion, bringing you exciting new ways to boost your income and popularity. So, make some popcorn, grab your favorite drinks, wrap yourself in a warm blanket, and mark March 6, 2025, in your calendars!

Here you can schedule the movies you want to show to your customers from a wide range of those available. You can decide when the showtimes start. Plan your nights around peak traffic hours or align them with special in-game events. Who doesnât love a midnight horror marathon? đ»

No cinema experience is complete without a bucket of hot, buttery popcorn. Thatâs where the Popcorn Machine comes in! This nifty gadget doesnât just add to the movie-watching ambiance; it also benefits you and your gas station in a couple of ways:
Boost Your Gold Income đ° â Serving popcorn to moviegoers gives you extra revenue. Customers love a tasty snack, so youâll see a steady increase in profits.
Increase Your Renown đ â Providing a great snack is part of delivering an excellent cinema experience. The more satisfied your customers are, the more theyâll spread the word about your drive-in cinema.
More ways to deal with⊠Dennis! đ â Thatâs right! If youâre tired of that pesky Dennis messing around your station, you can easily turn your frustration into fun! In this DLC, your new Drive-In Cinema has its very own Renown mechanic. Think of it like a progress bar that reflects how popular your drive-in theater is. Every time a customer drives in to watch a movie (and hopefully buy some popcorn), your renown ticks up. The higher the renown, the better upgrades youâll be able to unlock.
From improved projector settings which allows you to schedule more movies in advance, or an automatic tool that will help you keep the cinema clean â the more you invest in your drive-in cinema experience, the more itâll pay off in both satisfaction and sweet, sweet profits.
