We’ve made a decision regarding the Shady Deals DLC for Gas Station Simulator.
We are no longer working on Shady Deals. After ending our cooperation with the external team responsible for the DLC due to quality issues, we decided not to continue its development as a separate expansion.
Instead, we chose a different approach. Shady Deals is a big and exciting concept that we are excited about, and we believe it deserves more than just a DLC. That’s why its core ideas and features will become part of Roadhouse Simulator, in the form of a full game experience.
Gas Station Simulator is already heavily expanded with DLCs, and we’ve heard your feedback regarding adding more DLCs. Many of you prefer us to focus on new titles within this universe rather than adding more expansions. Roadhouse Simulator is the perfect place for these “shady” mechanics – especially since it tells the story of the Uncle before the events of Gas Station Simulator.
Shady Deals isn’t gone. It’s evolving – and it will return as a bigger, fully integrated part of Roadhouse Simulator.
Bringing the spirit of exploration, discovery, and adventure to life in the Star Trek universe is no small feat, and the team has done an incredible job delivering an experience that truly honors the legacy of Voyager.
Launching a game is always a huge milestone, and we know how much passion, hard work, and dedication goes into making it happen. 💪🎮

The uncle is a rather colourful and enigmatic character we meet throughout Gas Station Simulator and even in the Car Junkyard DLC. He is a businessman with a somewhat shady touch to his approach, something that is often evident in various encounters and propositions of his.
Some view the uncle as a slightly evil person, some view him as the opposite, depending on the amount of interactions you had with him. But in reality, he is neither. His sole focus has always been to make a profit, and the bad and good things he has done along the way were just byproducts of his relentless pursuit to not miss a good opportunity.
How did the uncle make his money? Why does he approach things the way he does? What’s his story? If you ever wondered about the answers to questions like that, you will actually be able to find out in a not too distant future. A prequel to Gas Station Simulator, called Roadhouse Simulator, is coming soon!

[p]We’re excited to introduce a long-awaited quality-of-life improvement: Station DLC Management. This new feature gives you full control over which DLC areas are active at any given moment, letting you tailor the gameplay experience to your current goals and playstyle.[/p][p]From now on, you can enable or disable individual DLC locations such as the RV Camp, Junkyard, Tidal Wave, or Airstrip directly from the PC Management Tab using a simple On/Off toggle. This means you no longer have to juggle every mechanic and notification at once. Want to focus purely on your core station or a single expansion? Just switch the others off and play at your own pace.[/p][p]When a DLC section is turned off, its gameplay loop is immediately paused:[/p]
[p]NPCs leave the area[/p]
[p]Lights and systems shut down[/p]
[p]Specialized tools related to that DLC are hidden from your inventory[/p]
[p]If there are any active contracts or ongoing events, they will be cancelled, but not without warning. You’ll always see a confirmation pop-up before making the decision.[/p][p]Most importantly, nothing is lost. All stored items, upgrades, and your personal progress within that DLC remain completely safe.
