โš™๏ธ Here is a list of improvements and fixes โš™๏ธ

  • Added an option to return to the portal in teleport mode (for both solo and coop).
  • Added mouse scroll blocking of player camera zoom, minimap zoom, progress tree zoom, and achievement board when the mouse pointer is outside the game window.
  • Added VFX that marks the mob on the Execution skill.
  • Fixed the grass color in the entrances of the Ancient Cave
  • Improved navigation in Sky Rocks objectives
  • Fixed an issue where some effects (such as stamina restored by consuming Ancient Curse) would stack multiple times while playing in coop
  • Fixed a bug when two players with the same weapon could use each other's effects (e.g. Ancient Curse) without destroying them. Now each player has an effect that only the owner can use. This mainly applies to Force and Enigmatic Staff.
  • Now players can't see effects like Ancient Curse coming from other players. So it's easier to tell which effect a player can use.
  • Fixed a rare coop bug where sometimes hatchet weapons were not catched properly
  • In the crafting window, it is no longer possible to switch to other recipes while crafting items.
  • Fixed a bug where the range unit was missing for some skills
  • Fixed some parameter errors in skill descriptions.
  • Ice coop world T3 is temporarily disabled due to a missing battery issue. We will fix it soon.
  • Fixed an issue where the Execution skill cooldown did not reset when performing an execution.
  • Fixed the VFX of Shieldbearerโ€™s Amulet skills.
  • Removed unnecessary Targe Shield passive VFX.
  • Fixed a bug that permanently applied the effect of damage resistance and healing to the Elder Monkey Bat.
  • Improved the clarity of the Static Field skill description on T6

Here is a list of the changes we did today!

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Storage has been increased by an additional 48 slots (from 288 to 336)
  • Gem tooltip now clarifies where they can be found
  • In the crafting window the text is aligned to the left to improve readability
  • Rebalanced Earth Hit daze effect to 25%
  • Essence T7 bosses now have more HP
  • Improved navigation around Ancient dungeon entrances
  • Fixed the position of the Ancient Cape item on the player
  • Speeded up the recovery of food and drink levels in the UI
  • Improved stamina cost on Ax Hit skill on T5.


๐Ÿ› ๏ธ BUG FIX:

  • Fixed an issue where Piercing Ring T4 could only be unlocked after Destruction Ring T4 had been unlocked. Piercing Ring T4 can now be unlocked after Destruction Ring T3 is unlocked.
  • Fixed the description of Random Core - now the description correctly indicates that random cores can be bought from the merchant
  • Fixed a bug where the Hatchet T5 was already available at Tier 4 on the Progress Tree
  • Fixed an issue where some caves on the Forest World T5 and Forest World T6 were not accessible
  • Fixed a bug that caused the food bonus to be displayed incorrectly in character stats.
  • Fixed a bug in the description of the Slow effect.
  • Fixed a bug in the Static Field ability that prevented the Coop Combo mechanic from being used after the first damage dealt.
  • Added missing sound on Bloody Rage hit.
  • Removed the hit effect from the Mine Field skill before the explosion.
  • Fixed a bug in VFX and description of Sneaky Attack Aura skill.
  • Fixed a bug where the correct damage value was not displayed in the Rejuvenating Sprint skill description.
  • Fixed a bug where Qubic T5 changed position while moving, which over time caused it to shift its position permanently
  • Fixed bug where in the Progress Tree there was no โ€œcoldโ€ element for Regular Bow T4
  • Controllers - fixed inventory window closing. If you have the statistics panel opened and click B it will close the tab with these statistics, and only after selecting the B for the second time the entire window will close.

  • Beremur now appears in every T7 forest cave.
  • Improved bug in VFX Sneaky Attack Aura skill.
  • Improved the display of secret chests number in Toxic worlds.
  • Improved description of the Warming Balsam item
  • Improved bridge generation in Sky Rocks to limit vertical bridges
  • Improved description of Spell Surge skill
  • Technology fragments delivery has been sped up.

  • Fixed the bug in Ancient Ruins (forest, ice, toxic) objective where a player was sinking into the ground at the dash.
  • Fixed the bug near toxic ramps falling into the ground at the dash.
  • Fixed blocked bridges in Sky Rocks.
  • Fixed a bug where the Daze effect from the player made enemies stronger.
  • Fixed incorrect description of mobs in the Drone Factory mission description.
  • Fixed Monk Boots T7 and T6 stats
  • Adjusted the weight of helmets and boots so that all of a given category (light, medium, heavy) weigh the same.
  • Fixed Kill the first boss achievement - now it can be obtained during a tutorial while playing in coop.
  • Fixed a bug where a dead character could display the crafting animation.
  • Fixed a bug that caused untranslated text to be displayed above the panel in the T3 co-op objective
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Repair Station objective marker to appear on the map some distance away from the objective's actual location
  • Fixed a bug where the Surian cape could not be crafted in the workshop
  • Markers that indicate interactive objects now work properly on objective ancient archive T2 (quest Hidden Knowledge)
  • Added an indicator next to the interactive element for better readability in the ice objectives.
  • Fixed the Forest Pump in the Ice World
  • Fixed incorrectly displayed aura duration value in the Spell Swirl skill description
  • Fixed incorrect display of shield restore value in Shield skill description
  • Fixed incorrectly displayed damage value in Bloody RageParry description
  • Fixed a mistranslation in the Qubic Detonation skill description
  • Fixed the incorrect name of the Pillar skill
  • Fixed in Broadsword weapon skill descriptions
  • Fixed an error in the description of Force Projectile's skill
  • Fixed an error in the description of the Healing Kit item
  • Fixed an issue where the Stamina Nova skill was not restoring stamina.
  • Fixed the bug where grenade skills descriptions were displayed unnecessarily
  • Fixed wrong grenade skills descriptions
  • Fixed a bug where creating soup would not return an empty waterskin.
  • Fixed the bug that caused the camera to get stuck after using the Ubiquitous Shot skill
  • Fixed lack of VFX on some variants of Spellfang weapons
  • Fixed bug where Gem Ore would always drop only one type of gemstone.
  • Fixed no passage on the ramps in the Toxic world near end of the map.
  • Fixed bug where return to the Guild/Gate window was not displaying if the character died while the progression tree was open.
  • Fixed coop combo in Assassin's Blades crippling blow

We have just launched a new Patch. Thanks to your feedback and insight we made a lot of changes. Of course it is not the end - we will work hard to ensure you have the best gaming experience possible ๐Ÿ˜Ž

โš™๏ธ Here is a list of fixes โš™๏ธ

  • Fixed a bug where Legendary Cores were not unlocking with progress. They are all now available for crafting from the start of the game.
  • Fixed the mountain mushrooms issue in the floating rocks biome (they were not spawning before).
  • Fixed incorrect Knight's Boots T4 damage bonus from 34% to 3.4%.
  • Fixed incorrect Guardians Helmet T4 damage bonus from 34% to 3.4%.
  • Fixed the issue when resist debuff would not work properly for a fully charged void effect.
  • Fixed issue when coop combos have not been correctly executed in some weapons.
  • Improved the Parasite Hook description, it can be obtained from Tier 5.
  • Improved the Ice Shard description, it can be obtained from Tier 5.
  • Fixed Prey Mark not getting off the player when cleansed or killed.
  • Fixed Exploding Barrel price; selling price is now 100.
  • Fixed an issue when exiting an expedition to a Guild where the host left the expedition first and then the other players left in groups by voting. Only the host was returning to the Guild, and the rest of the players were stuck on the loading screen.
  • Fixed an issue where some items could be unlocked in the progress tree earlier than indicated by their position in the tree: Destruction Ring, Diversionist Ring, Dual Daggers T2, Great Hammer T2, Knight's Helmet T6
  • Fixed a bug where on a non-quest Toxic World T7 treasure detector pointed to a location outside the playable area.
  • Fixed an error in the description of the "Diversionist's Ring" item. The text now correctly describes the item's special perk.
  • Fixed a bug where Defender Ring Shock was not providing protection against shock damage.
  • Fixed a bug where Shock Ring Recipes required a Void crystal fragment and Void Rings required a Shock crystal fragment
  • Fixed achievement objective description to "revive a friend" from "Be revived.."
  • Fixed a bug in the Ancient Cape T5 recipe. Now it requires T5 leather instead of T6.
  • Fixed an issue where an invalid version of the Elder monkey bat would spawn on the Objective T4 and not drop the Elder MonkeyBat Claw T4 item.
  • Fixed description in Volarian Glossy compound T5, now it correctly indicates where it can be obtained (previously it was Fire T5, now it's Sky Rocks T5)

Dear Gatewalkers!

First of all, it was looooong night! But we read your comments and your thoughts, so we act! ๐Ÿ’ช

During the last 24h, we have made some changes to the game based on your feedback. We hear you all, and we are continuously working to make your experience with the game better and better with each patch!

Please take some time to read what we have changed in the current PATCH 1.0.3:


๐Ÿ› ๏ธ IMPROVEMENTS:

  • We see that some visuals from starting weapons could have been better, so we upgraded FXes for Hammer weapon skills.
  • We have also adjusted some animations for Warhammer and GreatHammer.
  • Stamina cost on various skills has been adjusted based on your feedback (it's a multiplier factor, so take a look at your skills if they were affected). Changed skills will have 1.25 stamina cost reduced to 1.2.
  • The player's character movement speed has been slightly increased. Multiple monsters have had their attack range adjusted to compensate for this change. You should feel the change right away!
  • Some of you asked to be able to test some weapons earlier when you start the game. All new characters can choose from 3 additional starting weapons in the tutorial quest (Dark Catalyst T1, Dual Daggers T1, Bloody Axe T1). This change only applies to starting weapons available in the player's stash; Blacksmith still offers only three T2 weapons to choose from, as before.
  • Health points of low-tier creatures have been slightly reduced to make starting easier for less experienced players.
  • MonkeyBats now have a chance to drop meat when skinned (yes, we know that all players from alpha are expecting this change).
  • the Surian Shaman grenade price has been greatly reduced it's now based on item level.
  • Addressed multiple reports about characters stuck in level geometry. Navigation planes have been adjusted.
  • Removed skill icon unintentionally displayed in the crafting window when crafting utility items.


๐Ÿ› ๏ธ BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed bug preventing mobs from spawning on a few objectives.
  • Fixed bug causing unintentional tent durability restoration.
  • Fixed bug causing skill Stamina Nova not to restore stamina properly.
  • Adjusted descriptions of effects of Curse and Wound infection.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented displaying a proper description of heat combo mechanics.
  • Adjusted descriptions of multiple coop-combo mechanics.
  • Salad T3 can now be crafted in "Stove" and "Campfire" crafting stations.
  • Slightly adjusted sounds on "Ancient Ruins" objectives.
  • Fixed incorrect damage modifier in Guardian boots T4.
  • Fixed incorrect defense modifier on shock rings.
  • Removed unintended ingredients occurring in multiple recipes.
  • Fixed bug causing player character to be stuck after activating drilling machine in "Ignition Cell" quest.

Gatewalkers Demo

Hello, Gatewalkers!

Our first after-release impression is positive. We see a lot of people playing Gatewalkers, nice feedback and genuine interest in the game. However, we do see negative reviews too and we want to assure you that we read all of the comments. So, what now? ๐Ÿ˜Š

โš”๏ธ We decided to publish a free demo. Some people are hesitating if Gatewalkers is something for them; This way they will have an opportunity to try out the game. It won't be the demo from beta (first mission). Instead, we want to show something more advanced.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The demo will feature one mission in the Fire World and you will have the possibility to try out a few Tier 6 weapons! The demo will be playable solo and in co-op (up to four players, invited from your Steam friends list).

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ We are fixing all of the bugs that you have reported. We also consider changing some things due to your feedback. We will post patches soon and inform you about all the changes here on Steam and also on Discord so stay tuned.

Sometimes we are not able to answer all of you but be sure that we read ALL comments! We are reading your thoughts and we want to adjust the game as much as we can to your needs. We are confident that together we can make Gatewalkers better! ๐Ÿ’ช

Here is a list of changes we made today!

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Objective Sound Improvements: AncientHighTower,
  • Ancient grenadiers FX improvements,
  • Player grenade FX improvements,
  • Sonic Wave spell FX improvements,
  • Small rebalance of stamina cost - amount of stamina from jewelry, and stamina recovered for high level of nutrition and drinking,
  • Added hunger and drinking to all dungeon worlds like the UndergroundFacility for players to benefit from stamina and health regeneration bonuses there.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the use of co-op objectives,
  • Fixed a bug with the Protect Pump health bar,
  • Fixed incorrect sandwich description,

  • Fixed a bug that broke buying items from the merchant if the player had search filters enabled,
  • Many small improvements and fixes to the operation of cooperative objectives.
