Hello hunters, it's time for an update! In this update, we have touched on several important topics that will help us for future updates.



Some users experienced problems with the old network solution in our game, we completely replaced the network solution in the project. The new solution should be faster and more stable than the previous one. If you have any problems, you can write to us by email or contact us on the server in discord. We will try to solve your problem.



We have reviewed the single gameplay of the game, and slightly simplified the game for those who play alone. These fixes are not final and they may change over time.


  • Decrease in sanity reduced by 20%
  • The decrease in sanity from the ghost of Amanojaku has been reduced by 20%
  • Insurance increased by 25%
  • Hunting duration reduced by 20%
  • The interval between hunts increased by 20%
  • Hunting chance reduced by 20%
  • Recovery of sanity from pills increased by 30%

The very first map in the game now has a new look! The house on Mystic Street has been redesigned.









Lobby


The old lobby was too big. We decided to reduce it and slightly improve it. And also to open the doors of the bunker (but don't available to buy it (it is still in development)).







New model of laser projector


The laser projector has received a new model! Now it can be put on a tripod, the appearance of the laser grid has also been changed.

Hello hunters! Happy New Year!

At the end of this year, we managed to do a lot, but we still have a lot of plans for next year.

And we decided to share our plans for the next year with you, here is part of what we are going to implement


Ghosts


From the very release of the project into early access, we began to think about our own ghost models, and also, in addition to the usual models, on various details (but more on that later). At the moment we are working on sculpting models, but there is already something to show. This is the ghost of a girl, remember that this is not the final version, but only a prototype.



Ghost's favorite things


We are also working on a complete reworking of additional content (Favorite things), it will be completely new mechanics, it will be really interesting for you to look for the ghost's favorite thing.



Search for documents and change models


The ghost's passport system was originally made in the form of a prototype, we started working on its final appearance.

The appearance of the documents will be changed, as well as the mechanics of their search, they will not only be in boxes, but can be buried in the yard or boarded up in the walls, because the ghost understands that if the hunter finds the documents, he will be able to expel him, so the ghost will complicate your search for documents in various ways.



Network code reworking


We decided to completely rewrite the network part of the game, because some players, especially at the end of the year, began to experience problems, and in order for us to continue making content for you, we decided to try to fix this problem.

Christmas Event




  • The evil Krampus wants to spoil the holiday by hiding all the gifts in his snow maze.



  • You and your friends will have to find all the gifts and return them under the Christmas tree before Krampus starts hunting.



  • But not everything is so simple, his insidious elves will interfere with you in every possible way by stealing gifts from under the Christmas tree.



  • Hold out for three rounds to defeat and banish Krampus!

Update 1.1.3.1

Hello hunters! The New Year is coming very soon and we are preparing something interesting for you. But before continuing to work on the New Year's update, we decided to correct the previous one, namely the balance on the "School" map.

- Simplification of the ritual for one or two players
- A more complex ghost

It looks like the dilapidated gym at the school collapsed and the entrances were blocked. But, there is a silver lining during another outing in one of the dark classrooms of the school, you managed to find the keys to the gates of the inner garden!




As usual, we listened to you and realized that it was still a pleasure to look for the dead man's documents throughout the school...

Now you will be waiting for small, easy puzzles that will indicate in which office the passport is. (Look for them at the entrance to the building)



We have added the ability to remove ritual items from the seal. To do this, simply hover over the object and hold down the action button.



Also a small update of the appearance of the school so that it does not look so monotonous.

Balance changes



Now the following rules will apply to one or two players on the "School" map:


  • Portals will appear near the seal during the ritual

  • The soul in the world of shadows now makes a sound, thereby helping you to find it

  • The ghost will start hunting next to the seal if the ritual has been started

Hello hunters! That's the part we promised. Unfortunately, it didn't come out as soon as we planned - circumstances. This update contains a new "School" map, new additional content (works only on the School map) and more.

New map - School



The corridors of this old school are fraught with danger. Not every hunter can cope with the evil in this building. The corridors are barricaded, and some passages are bricked up, you have to find a non-standard passage to the right room. Be careful!

The first big map in the game with its own personal additional content!

Before including additional content, we advise you to explore it without blocked rooms and corridors, as it may seem difficult for inexperienced players. Also, with the addition of a ventilation system, a new kind of death has appeared - "death in ventilation" we advise you to see it for yourself.



Additional content - "School - Ventilation"



This is a new content that will only work if you select the "School" card in the selection of orders, the content adds blocked rooms and corridors (each new match will block different rooms). Since the rooms are blocked, you need to use a ventilation system. It allows you to access any of the blocked rooms.

It will be more difficult for you to identify the ghost and deal with it. Also, after dying in the ventilation, the ghost will drag the player into a random room. Your friend will have to explain where his corpse is in order to pick up some things or take a picture of it.



We also thought that 3 slots for tools is not enough considering what we will add in the future and decided to add 4 slots in advance.

And also now you can take equipment even if you have other equipment in your hands if there is a free slot.

Command system



We have created a command system that will help players who for some reason cannot use the microphone (This option must be enabled in the game settings).

When using a particular tool, you can use a command system to interact with this tool, as well as with the ghost.



Also people who get crash games can now run the game without the recognition library when loading (Select "Start without SRS") and also use the command system.
