Today (April 7) is the one year anniversary since GIBZ released out of early access. I only noticed a couple of weeks ago so I didn't have much time to put into the new content update I had planned. I'll try and get that out next month in time for the 2 year anniversary since GIBZ originally launched in early access (May 21). You can see a little teaser for that update at the bottom of this post.

To give you guys something to enjoy to help celebrate the anniversary I decided to make the secret player head codes public! More Hair Colours
Some of the special player heads used hair colours that the normal heads don't have. So I decided to add 4 new hair colours to all the normal player heads! Note: If you want to use these new hair colours on an existing character you can buy the Character Customiser from the Travelling Merchant.
Base Defence Update Teaser
Build and defend your own base from waves of zombies! Build walls and hire NPC Survivors to help defend your base. Special enemies like the Werewolf can jump over walls or even damage them. Occasional bosses such as the Goliath will walk through, destroying walls, clearing the way for the zombie horde!
GIBZ - Valentine
It's time for another event in GIBZ. This is another small one like the Easter one last year (which will be coming back again as well). I don't currently have any plans for expanding the Easter event but if anyone has any ideas; feel free to suggest them and maybe I'll do something for it.

Random Encounters have a chance of a Cupid showing up - shoot him for coins and to get his Halo!
Added new hat: Halo - shoot your friends with your crossbow to give them your heart (one heart of health that is)
Type "<3cupid<3" in chat (offline only) during the event to change the look of your health between pink hearts and the regular red hearts (do it at least once to unlock the ability to use the command any time of the year)
The Tower Bridge level is now skippable if it's cleared and you've defeated the final boss before

GIBZ - Xmas 2017
The GIBZ Xmas event is back! Everything from last year + one new achievement/hat and a snowy map for Zombie Surfing.

Fixed being able to open the Perk Shop when looking at an NPC shop

GIBZ - Halloween 2017
It's Halloween time in GIBZ again! two new achievements and two new masks have been added (both with cool abilities). Houses will also pop-up on the overworld map during the event, visit them for the chance for some loot or a fight.
Everything from last year's event is also back, including the hats and the two previous achievements.

Landing after a jump creates a shockwave exploding nearby zombies
Jump height now affected by how long you hold the jump button

Changed player's back arm to now be visible while holding primary weapons (now also moves in relation to reload animations) + character's back arm is now positioned properly on the main menu

GIBZ - Frame Rate Update
Update time! Lot's of improvements and fixes. The game is also no longer locked at 60fps and a Polish translation was added.
Performance Improvements
The game now uses a variable (unlocked) frame rate (should no longer go slow motion on fps drop which could cause online multiplayer sync issues) - can be changed back to a fixed frame rate in config.txt

GIBZ - Easter Update

GIBZ - Release Date + Performance Update
A big update was just recently released for GIBZ that improves performance, brings changes to the Mayhem and Defence mini-games, adds more variety to zombies and improves/tweaks/fixes many other things.
GIBZ has been in early access since May last year and has since had all the planned content added (plus some extra stuff). It’s about time for it to release officially; so I’m now announcing that it will come out of early access in a couple of weeks on April 7th.
The price will also be raised from its current $4.99 USD to $7.99 USD. So if you’re interested now is a good time to get it.
Updates will still be made on the game, more content is a possibility as well as more events (such as Easter).
