We have recently made the decisions to redo all our scenery from the ground up! We want to have a much larger and more beautiful landscape to fly around with higher quality scenery. The new scenery will include higher quality trees (Speed Tree), high quality rocks and cliffs, houses and buildings, roads, cars and high quality terrain mesh and textures. So stay tuned. More news and screenshots to come in the near future! We believe your eyes will enjoy what they see! ;)

Update 1 Is Live: Vive Hand Controllers

You can now use the Vive hand controllers to steer the glider. This was a challenging task from a game design perspective so it will be interesting to hear your feedback. I recorded a YouTube video to show how it works. So give it a shot! Nothing is set in stone here and any changes you guys would like to see let me know. Note: you can now also fly the glider with an Xbox Controller. Also a VR headset is not required to play the game now.
Vive Hand Controller Update In the Works
A lot of people have been requesting the feature to use the Vive's hand controllers to steer the glider. So we are working right now to make that a reality! The way it will work is you reach out to grab the gliders handle bars, then once attached you can take off. Once airborne you can pull back to fly upwards and when you push forward you will fly downwards. To turn left and right you will tilt your hands. Once we have a working prototype in the next week or two we will push out the update for you to try out!
Scoring and Gameplay to be revised soon
In our first revision we are looking to fix up the game play to make it more fun! Your feedback on this topic will be very helpful. Here is what we are thinking so far:
-The user will race a count down timer from 10 minutes to collect as many hoops as possible. Music getting faster as your time runs out.
-Through the level you will be able to fly through a limited number of "Power Hoops". This will freeze the count down timer for a 20 second interval and any hoops you collect will be double the points. Think of Packman when eating the big dot (power pellet).
-Every 2 minutes off the count down timer the volcano will erupt or a thunderstorm will occur (depending which level you are flying). Each succession being more intense in severity.
-Bonus points will be added to your score if you collect all the hoops and have time remaining.
- Also a possible level unlocking mechanism. Must earn a silver medal to unlock the next Island.
