Online Multiplayer
Returning from Chapter 1 would sometimes result in a Black Screen.
Returning to Lobby could sometimes cause Clients to get stuck seeing out of bounds content with game thinking they’re in a cutscene when they’re not.
Hosts could affect Client’s facing and ability/attack direction.
Players could get trapped in Chapter 6 after selecting Try Again on Game Over-screen.
Players could desync going into new chunks/areas, leaving one player behind.

If you have any issues that you would like us to give extra attention to, please let us know in the Discord and we’ll do our best to include them in the next patch: Official Go Fight Fantastic! Discord Channel
And with that, we wish you all a FANTASTIC day!
The second patch is here!
Our main focus for this patch has been the stability of input (keyboard/mouse/controller) and the online multiplayer, so the team has been trying to hammer out as many bugs as possible! This is a fairly big patch with a lot of fixes, so hopefully, everyone will have a much better experience after this patch. We’re still working on the remaining issues and want to get patches out as quickly as possible, so the next one will hopefully be out on Wednesday.
Thank you to everyone who has been helping us by reporting your issues! Knowing they exist makes it much easier for us to find and fix the bugs!
Input/Controls
Fixed all cases we could find where the game loses connection with keyboard/mouse or Controller(s). If you still encounter errors, restarting game should fix it.
Should now work much better with Alt-Tabbing in and out of the game.
Should also work much better when Shift-Tabbing in and out of the game to invite friends to Online Multiplayer.
Couch Co-Op now has indicators to clarify the need for 3 separate controllers (can’t be played with a mix of controllers and keyboard – or 3 players on the same keyboard).
Online Multiplayer:
Overall, A LOT of De-sync and Stability fixes (should be much smoother now)
Fixed game sometimes soft locking on Character Selection.
Fixed Blockers after defeating bosses (Poi and Zev).
Characters spawning or dashing out of bounds in Story Mode.
Tank and Striker abilities sometimes causing complete lockdown, making them unable to attack, take damage, etc.
Navigation visuals (arrows and button icons) restored on Character Selection
Character Skins is now working in Online Multiplayer – and should now be shown in Cutscenes.
Clients no longer unlock all chapters after clearing a single chapter.
UI Improvements for Connectivity, making it easier to host and see when players connect to your session, plus better interaction with Invite vs Matchmaking popup.
De-sync Issues with enemies showing on client but not host, having seemingly 0 HP but still being alive, etc.
Finding Music Discs no longer causes major desync events after.
Accepting Invites / Joining a Friend’s game can now be done from anywhere (even if you’re in the middle of another session – or playing solo or couch co-op).
Misc Cutscene Desync issues (getting incorrect cutscenes after chapters, etc).
Meteorite Upgrades could previously cross-contaminate between players and their unused but equipped characters, causing strange effects and desyncs.
Fixed a bunch of minor things throwing/logging errors, such as the Swamp Monsters on Chapter 3, Cutscenes, etc.
Ending a session should now return all players to the Start/Title Screen.
Achievements:
All Achievements tested and verified working including problematic:
“Song Bird” Achievement (Talk to all NPCs in game).
“Space Curtains” (Beat Final Boss on Nightmare difficulty).
“Music Lover” (Find all Music for the Jukebox).
“Invincible” (Reach Stage 10 without getting downed).
“Go Fight Fantastic!” (Defeat the Final Boss).
Horde Mode:
HP should no longer reset, causing you to lose accumulated Health Powerups.
Powerup Re-balancing trying to remove as many limits as possible.
T3 Spider Eggs now count as enemies (so you don’t get attacked by spiders during Powerup Selection).
Story Mode:
Rebalanced Enemy count in some areas that were a bit overwhelming.
Minor Cutscene fixes (incorrect portraits for some characters)
Minor visual fixes on Chapter 5 and 6 with foreground occlusions and VFX layers.
Audio:
Going between Jukebox and Character Selection could result in multiple music tracks playing on top of each other.
Horde Mode-music should no longer turn off if you cleared a Story Mode Chapter before playing Horde Mode.
Skipping Cutscenes should no longer result in Boss Music sometimes vanishing.
Ship/Lobby should always have music playing now.
Night Club music is now working.
Misc flow fixes for stability.
Other/Misc:
Minor fixes for Simplified Chinese (missing translations found).
Archer Basic Attack (Arrow) responsiveness improved after Dashing.
Decorations now auto-activate on purchase (previously had to buy, then activate).
Major Known Issues:
Returning from a Chapter in Story Mode, you may get a black screen (with visible HUD). You can still move around and interact with things behind this black screen – and you can Press Enter/LT to ready up for the next chapter. Restarting the session with fix issue.
Having meteorites equipped to the four characters in Solo, may cause issues in Online. We recommend all players unequip all Meteorites in solo (for all characters) before going into Online Multiplayer Sessions until completely fixed!
Playing Mercury as Player 2 or 3 in Online Multiplayer (not the host) may cause Dash to misbehave.
Striker and Archer can dash/teleport through some wall-colliders and geometry (which can make them get stuck in colliders). But can usually dash/teleport back.
Chapter 2 may spawn very high tier enemies when it shouldn’t.
Mission Debriefing Cutscenes may still be out of order, which may cause chapters to unlock out of order.
If you still encounter errors with things that are marked as fixed, please let us know so we can re-open the issue for the next patch! You can reach us directly on Go Fight Fantastic! Discord Channel
Match the game style to your liking!
Go Fight Fantastic is a fast-paced hand-drawn hack and slash where, together with friends or solo, you'll have to fight through hordes of enemies to save the charming Bird people! This is your last chance to grab Go Fight Fantastic! with a 10% Launch Discount, or 22% off with the Fantastic Edition Bundle!
The game offers various difficulty levels, so if you want to explore the story and admire the beautiful hand-drawn landscapes, you can do it! But if you're looking for a challenge and want to face tough enemies, cunning alone won't be enough! Check out the Meteorite Station to tailor your fighting style to yourself!
You can obtain meteorites in several ways. Of course, by defeating enemies, where they appear along with other loot. You can also find them in hidden chests scattered throughout the map. But you can also buy them in the store on your ship or from a mysterious merchant during the game if you're lucky enough to encounter them.
Meteorites have different properties, both passive and active. They can improve your health, attack speed, or critical hit chances, but they can also completely change your skills, for example, turning healing orbs into deadly grenades.
They also have different rarity, from common and rare to legendary, and can be corrupted, thus providing both positive and negative effects simultaneously. While there is a group of meteorites shared by all characters, each of them also has those assigned only to their class. You can check what new meteorites you've found at the Meteorite Station on the ship.
Alright, but sometimes even that may not be enough against enemies, especially at higher difficulty levels! Luckily, you have access to the Forge, where you can level up selected meteorites, making them even more powerful!
After selecting the right meteorites, all that remains is to see how they perform in battle. Here are a few examples of the effects that can be useful to you in combat, whether it's an air vortex, falling projectiles, or leaving a mark that ignites enemies behind you!
Don't forget about the Shop either, as you can buy some useful meteorites there! But that's not all. You can also buy and change character skins there, as well as purchase additional items for your ship!
To make your gameplay even better, remember about the Jukebox, where you can customize the music and choose your favorite track to accompany you as you gear up for the next battle! New records with tracks can be bought in the store, but they are also scattered around Bird Planet, so keep an eye out!

Healing orbs may get stuck in Online Multiplayer and can’t be absorbed. May be resolved by restarting the game.

HP and maybe other powerups can randomly reset in the Horde Mode.
Online Multiplayer desyncs, we’re fixing as many as we can as quickly as possible. May be fixed by party disconnecting/rebooting game and reconnecting.
